Very, very rude. Called to place an order and she screamed at me, literally. Told me how wrong I am and she is busy today. I was trying to order flowers to send to a dear friend who just got into town yesterday and will be there for awhile. I was willing to pay a lot of money for flowers and don't need to be treated like that. I got treated much nicer by someone else so beaware when calling. read more

Came in with my African American fiancée last weekend and was treated like we were wasting her time. Another couple came into the store and they were both white. She stopped helping us immediately and helped them because she said they were serious customers. I am completely appalled by this type of treatment. I do not recommend this shop. read more

I came in looking for fresh flowers to put on my wedding cake. I had already been to numerous other flower shops and just hadn't been able to find exactly what I was looking for. As I was speaking with who I believe was the owner, I felt incredibly comfortable that I was in good hands. She was knowledgeable and attentive. At other shops, there was so much pressure on me to find the perfect arrangement, but here, this wonderful lady took over and put together a beautiful arrangement for me. She even went to the wholesaler with my colors in mind to bring back flowers that were perfect for my occasion. I am very impressed. Thank you! read more

First they up-sold me to a more expensive bouquet than the one I had picked on their website because "We don't have those smaller roses in stock." Then they delivered a dozen long stem roses (24") in an 8" tall vase! Lame! Then when I wrote to them to complain, they blamed it on their vase SUPPLIER! They wrote "...the "dozen rose vase" and is labled (sp) so by our glass company...", proving that they can't arrange flowers or spell. Skip these guys and go with a competent florist. read more

My mother ordered flowers from Flowers Flowers to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. My girlfriend and I were getting lunch down the street from our apartment when I get a call from a woman, she asks if I ordered flowers, I told her that my mom ordered them. I ask her if she is at our apartment, she seems frustrated and tells me that she can't find our apartment number and that none of the apartments match. I ask her if she is at the right building and she repeats my address, very obviously frustrated. I try to be helpful and tell her, "we are right down the street at a restaurant across from McDonald's, if that would be easier for you to find" (I did tell her the name of the restaurant) she angrily/sarcastically says "so I guess I'll try to find that place then" and hangs up. She shows up at the restaurant 10 minutes later. The restaurant had closed (it's a brunch place) so we are waiting in our car. I call her and I ask her where she is, and she says "I'm here, are you gonna come out and get this then?" I say yes, and she hangs up. I get out of my car and walk over to her and she is visibly angry. She hands me the flowers and some chocolates with a really angry "here". I say "thank you" she raises her eyebrows and grunts as she turns away from me to get back in her car. Mind you, I did not order these flowers and I was as respectful and helpful as I could be. I don't understand how I warranted such a response from this woman. I understand the frustration of not being able to find my apartment number, but I don't see how I am to blame for her inability to do so. Receiving flowers as a gift should be a pleasant experience for all involved, this just pissed my girlfriend and me off, and we are trying to have a nice day on her birthday. I called the store and told the woman on the phone about our experience, she was apologetic but seemed to totally doubt what I was telling her. She attempted to make an excuse for the woman, which I refused to accept and she left it by saying she would be sure to "talk to the delivery woman". Well, thanks. Anyways, this was a load of junk for no reason, so I wouldn't recommend ordering flowers for a loved-one from this business, maybe just for people that you aren't very fond of. Edit: They remedied the situation by sending over an apology bouquet the next day and were very kind and friendly on the phone. We both really appreciated their desire to rectify what happened. I have not had good experiences with ordering arrangements on line, so I went to their place of business. The Lady that helped me was pleasant and professional. I ordered a plant/flower combination for a co-workers Grandmothers funeral. The only thing I specified was that there be some red in the arrangement. It was a beautiful arrangement and my co-worker now has both the red (both hers & her Grandmother's favorite color) flowers for now and several live green plants that she will always have. I am super pleased with FLOWERS-FLOWERS and intend to use their services for all my florist needs. read more

Thought I'd stop in to this place on the way home from work one day to buy my lady some roses. Got to the front door at 5:45. Hours on the door stated the business was open til 6:00, but the door was already locked, shop closed. Figured it was a one-off, and the owner(s) had to cut out early. Maybe try again some other time. Next week, round two. Got to the front door at 5:30. Shop closed again. To the owner(s) -- keep your shop open during the advertised business hours. Pretty basic stuff. You might be getting fewer walk-ins in during the late afternoons, but if that's the case, change the stated operating hours on your door so people don't waste their time. read more

I really appreciate the time and effort this florist gives customers. Called first and Carla spoke with me on the phone about creating what we needed for PROM. She was very helpful in sharing ideas and told me the ball park of $20-$25 for what I needed. I took in my daughters dress and even though Carla was not there I met with Denise and she carefully and thoughtfully showed me some fantastic ideas. She spent a good amount of time creating this masterpiece for us and ALL during their busy Mother's Day season! The store was very well laid out and smell terrific! I will use them for all my future floral needs I as I also noted their prices were a little less than others, but you receive SO much more service. I walked out with the cost of my item being $28 and some change... just as planned! read more

Not much to say. I placed an online order on a Friday and then had to cancel it because they didn't have any helium for balloons. I guess I could have canceled just the balloons, but seriously how does a florist allow themselves to run out of helium? I'm giving two stars because they were so friendly and prompt in contacting me and canceling the order. Still, I have no reason to try using them again. read more

I have been a Flowers, Flowers customer for over two years and have also attended their open house events a few times. I've been into the store at least a dozen times and have always been greeted by a friendly staff member who goes above and beyond to make sure I am able to find what I am looking for and to provide great service. On top of this, the store has the broadest (and cutest) inventory I have ever seen in a flower shop. It's like a boutique and flower shop rolled into one -- with only the best quality items and the prettiest flowers -- at awesome prices. I love this store!!! read more

I chose this florist to send my sister flowers for her birthday and had a horrible experience. I asked for an arrangement between $50-60, to please use gerber daisies and that I wanted something artistic, full and in a square vase. Yes, it was delivered later that day, but it was supremely disappointing. The "artistic" arrangement included 3 gerber daisies, some cheap looking greens, a handful of those lame small lilies and 2 small sunflowers. The vase was of the very standard, cylindrical variety. On top of that, Flowers Flowers charged me $77! When we called to see what could be done to fix this very disappointing situation, the owner of the shop was not willing to make any concessions and claimed to be proud of her product. Save your money! Save yourself from disappointment! Get your sister flowers elsewhere! read more

They're located in Austin, the delivery was in Austin, and the site stated that the bouquet I bought included delivery. I paid $54.xx and when I called to verify that they had received the order and it would be delivered same day, the lady told me that there would be a $15 delivery fee and if I didn't want to pay it, then they would just make a $35 arrangement instead of a $50 arrangement. They took out all the pretty flowers and kept in the cheap ones. When I complained, she basically told me I could pay the money or cancel the order. I didn't have time to deal with it so I just let them deliver the now petite and overpriced arrangement. Never again. read more

The arrangements have always been very full AND delivered on time-something that hasn't always happened with other florists. We have been using this florist for about 10 years and haven't been disappointed. read more

We couldn't have had a better experience with an out of town florist. I called them directly and spoke with Bri who was most helpful in making a selection. The plant showed up when scheduled and was a beautiful one, reasonably priced as well. read more
