We went to pick up the med today and when we got home we realized that the pharmacist had refilled a different medication than what I was taking and what was texted to be refilled. The medication I received was one that my doctor had prescribed, but took me off quickly because of the side effects. I called the pharmacy, but they told me I could not get a refund. So they screwed up, but they get to keep the money. When asked why/how they had refilled the medication I had stopped and had turned down when texted about refills previously, they could not say how the refill order got mixed up. When asked about the medication that was supposed to be refilled, they had to activate the refill button (or whatever it is they do) on the spot while speaking with them, and told me it would be ready tomorrow. As it happened, my husband needed to have his own medication refilled, and earlier had discovered that a program that he was registered in with the drug manufacturer was expired, and he learned that his copay would revert back to $160.00. He called the manufacturer's 800 number, and was able to get rerigistered. They told him that it should appear automatically when he returned to the Walgreen's. So with an hour to go before closing on Saturday evening, we headed back for his med and a little more hashing up about mine. The pharmacist looked him up again, but still announced that his copay would be $160.00. We had to make her check again before she found that the copay had gone down to $10.00. We asked if my refill was ready, and it was. (It had better have been; it was a pre-packaged allotment from the manufacturer, complete with foil seal, cotton ball and the dessicant cylinder.) And we were finally able to get another pharmacist to put a refund back onto my card. Check your bottles and check the paperwork before you leve the counter, but you should probably do that at any pharmacy. and if there is trouble, it helps to go back in person instead of being shrugged of by telephone.

CVS Store at 3200 Teasley Ln, Denton, TX 76210 and the Store phone number - (940) 382-1810…read more On April 29, 2026 at around 6pm First just let me get to the point. I would highly recommend patronizing this CVS store for the rest of your life because of one employee. "Sean" I was already having a bad day dealing with the situation that I was in trying to get a photo printed out. This young man Sean. Took patience, time and showed respect and commitment to the customer. Having a positive experience in his store. Mr. Sean went far beyond service to the customer and giving me the necessary respect and support that I needed just for a simple picture. He had no real idea of the stuff that I had been going through just to get this picture made. Mr. Sean show dedication and caring. Whatever it takes, just to get the customer to be satisfied with his great service is a masterpiece and tour de force. Thank You Sean and Thank You CVS from a loyal customer for life

I meant to edit my review, by deleting and rewriting…read more.. I guess I'm adding to it. STILL HORRIBLE. They never communicate, and I need to call them, leave a VM to ask them to fill the RX that was sent. I never think to need to contact them. I assume they'll fill it, and if they don't, then they would contact me to say they aren't filling it. And why. It's a sealed (uncontrolled) bottle of fluid. No pills to count. Seems easy enough to just process it, and if it comes down to me arriving and saying: "oh no! My insurance won't cover it? So tragic!" Then I'll just pay the $34. If not, they can just put it back if I seriously refuse to find ways to cover what I clearly must have. They also never did a transfer I requested, then the next day (today) I call to find this out. That's where I just had a new RX sent there instead, because they clearly don't want to be bothered to do a transfer I guess. At least they call me back when I leave a Vm (the latest way to speak to a pharmacist) and that's where I said to please just fill the RX and I'll pay the $34 without insurance. And I was actually very kind and humble, but they hung up while I was asking when it'd be ready. Which prompted me to write this update: They still suck. And they're still the only 24/7 pharmacy nearby... So I still go there.
