"Sean" I was already having a bad day dealing with the situation that I was in trying to get a photo printed out. This young man Sean. Took patience, time and showed respect and commitment to the customer. Having a positive experience in his store. Mr. Sean went far beyond service to the customer and giving me the necessary respect and support that I needed just for a simple picture. He had no real idea of the stuff that I had been going through just to get this picture made. Mr. Sean show dedication and caring. I went to this CVS around 8 pm about one of my prescriptions. The pharmacist was standing in the middle of the booth. She didn't come to the consultation booth where they made me stand. She was asking about my date of birth and my full name from the booth. I had to yell my info to her. It was against HIPPA policy. There were people around. They were able to listen to what I said. There was no privacy. I would like someone to reprehend her for her behavior. Our community does not approve this behavior which is against HIPPA policy. read more

After standing in the pharmacy line for a few minutes, the pharmacy technician waited on me. My insurance was declined (moved here recently) so he was checking on it for me when the pharmacist told him to wait on the next customer and he would help me. Instead of helping me, he filled other orders and left me standing there. After 10 minutes of clearly watching him full other people's orders and doing nothing to help me, I asked for my insurance card back. He didn't apologize. He didn't attempt to help me one bit. RUTH the manager at CVS pharmacy on Teasley Ln Denton Tx is the most disgusting, rude, vile & dismissive employee I've EVER dealt with in customer service by far. It's no surprise I found another yelp complaint with her name attached to it. I called to inquire about a prescription and she says.. yeah what about it? I was so upset, hung up the phone and called back to try and speak to a manager and wouldn't you know, it was her. I was very close to the store so I went inside to try and get the problem resolved and she's yelling at me from behind her computer refusing to give me her name or write down a phone number to file a complaint. (The other yelp review mentioned how uncomfortable he was as she also treats her employees this way in front of all the customers ) Another employee had to tell me her name and write down the phone number. When I asked her for the info, she said..you have a phone in your hand figure it out. I'm not going to lie, by this time I was causing quite a scene. I refuse to let this go and will take it as high as I possibly can to be heard. If you all have had a similar experience, please report it! The pharmacist Ruth was the rudest human being of ever encountered. She was yelling at all the employees and all the customers screaming across the store fighting with everyone. I was so uncomfortable that I had to leave. I came back a few days later to pick up my prescription that I left from the incident she was causing, and when I arrived there, she gave me the worst attitude I've ever had from a pharmacist. She made it seem like it was a chore to help me and was still treating everyone around her terrible. The store is only half mile from my house but sadly I'm gonna have to start going to a different location because it makes me so uncomfortable to go there out of fear of being yelled at and due to how she treats her employees. Agree with the large majority of reviews! The WORST.....Felix the Manager has the IQ of a wet noodle and cannot make eye contact or complete sentences. Store is filthy and CVS product was faulty that I purchased and they would not refund my full purchase price.....only partial. CVS brand Ice Pack that only stayed cold for less than 2 hours. Willing to exchange and pay difference for name brand one that states it holds it cold for 8 hours. Plus, I paid cash and they wouldn't give me my cash back-only wanted to give me store credit. By far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I've lived in multiple states, I've use CVS my whole life for myself my family and my child- never have I ever had a smooth experience with this location. There is no urgency there is no efficiency and this is consistent behavior. Attitude at the pick up window, excuses that they're busy which is why they haven't filled any prescriptions, Constantly out of stock of just about everything. every pharmacy is busy you guys are the only ones who just do not produce proficient standards/work. It's really disappointing considering it's the closest CVS to my home but I will gladly drive a further distance to avoid coming back. read more

This is the worst pharmacy. WORST. Who has all day long to pick up one simple prescription? ONE prescription that is already filled? Every month it's a problem, and I only came back because I couldn't transfer my refills. First of all, don't come here, second- if you do, you can't use a good rx coupon or make any payment/insurance changes in the slightest at check out without having to be sent to another counter and then go wait in the pick up line all over again. Bottom line, go to Walgreens or somewhere not here. The employees are offensive and usually have something to say that's very unnecessary and judgmental. They are mostly all ill informed, naive and don't even know their own policies and make them up based on their prejudices. I then have to correct them and assert I know what I'm talking about. I used to go to the location on University because it's closer to my house but this one is on the way to work and I come here 9 out of 10 times now for about the last 5 years or so. In regards to the CVS as a whole the staff is a lot friendlier. It's very convenient and I have never had a bad experience here. Everyone in the store is friendly and respectful. Since they are on the corner there are entrances/exits on both Teasley and 2181 and I find it easy to get in and out so I definitly prefer to come here first. This CVS is a hair smaller than the other but it has most of the same products. The bathrooms stay clean here and the store overall stays better stocked. They remodeled a few months back and have a larger selection of cold and frozen items. I choose to go here for my pharmacy needs or to pick up a drink or snack for work. It's also useful when I just forgot to get one or two items on my weekly grocery trip. I tend to stop by at 4am on my way to work and the girls that work overnights at the pharmacy are wonderful. They know who I am, they are never late on my refills, they have been able to answer my questions about new medicines and are very personable. Even at that early hour they are filling perscriptions, consulting with people who come in, answering phones and handling the drive thru all on their own and I think they do a great job of it. On the rare occassion that something is not ready when I think it is it's always been because my doctor's office dropped the ball, not the pharmacy. On the rare occassion I had to get something filled quickly because one of us was sick the afternoon and weekend staff has proven just as capable and give me honest answers on how long it will take when I ask. The only thing I would change is something all pharmacies do: if I need to drop off a perscription and you are out but your delivery day is tomorrow, I would like to just leave it and check in later instead of returning to drop off the perscription. Just a small thing and I get why it's not possible. I'm genuinely surprised that so many poeple find them slow. Anytime I'm in I see everyone working really hard. However, I never use the drive thru because I prefer to look people in the eye and not shout when asking questions about my perscription. Also, it seems like they always have a line out there, it's always dinging when I'm paying at the register. My previous pharmacy was great, but they shut down a few years ago and this one is definitly in line with my expectations or I wouldn't come here. read more

This is the worst CVS with the worst Pharmacy services I have ever experienced. Three times I have come thinking the last time they were just busy and trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. The last time I came they said it would take 20 minutes. I left to get something to eat, came back 30 minutes later and then had to wait another 10 minutes at the drive through window. I've finally learned my lesson after three visits. Do not visit here if you value your time. It'a right across my pediatrician's office. Came to return something and no one was up front. after waiting for someone to come to the front for a while and a line started to build, i then went and looked for the employees and two were stacking chips on an aisle. i asked if we could get some assistance in the front and the lady, without looking at me, said yeah we will be there in a minute. i went back to the line and continued to wait several minutes before she arrived. as she assisted me with the return, she instructed the people in the line to use the self check out. this whole thing was so uncomfortable. read more

Does this location actually need TWO sales associates? The store was a complete and total mess with product spilling out of the aisles and end caps and onto the floors. If you're not going to pay your employees enough to make it worth their while, please consider hiring people willing to do at least the bare minimum for less and fire the lazy ones. read more

The worst customer service in the area. I received a coupon in my email which I forwarded to my card and when I got there to use it the cashier said it wasn't working. I showed her the coupon she would not honor the coupon she told me she couldn't do it. I don't understand why you're gonna have a coupon that you send your customers That you won't honor. I've been coming to this pharmacy for five years and today I had to finally find a new CVS. The staff and Pharmacist are so incredibly rude and disrespectful. Everyone has an attitude and is super passive aggressive and condescending. There's always a problem or issue every time i come here to pick up my medicine. There was an issue with them refilling my Wellbutrin and they said it couldn't be refilled till the 24th, even though I had two days left worth of medication. Amy was on the phone with my psychiatrist and I and was incredible rude and had the worst attitude for someone who works in this kind of industry. She hung up the phone on us both without saying a word at the end of the phone call. I've met only one respectful person at this pharmacy. It's a shame to have people like this working here and acting like this, while handling people's medication. Do not ever go here. You will leave with a headache every time. Absolutely terrible place. The trash of CVS. Every time I have gone to this pharmacy, they are behind. It could be 2 a.m. and for some damn reason they are busy. You never see anyone really working hard, and don't expect them to acknowledge you quickly. It's like you are forcing them to work. I have no idea where they get their pharmacist, but they all look like they rolled out of bed and wore what they had on before they left they trailer park to come to work. They are rude and their staff is rude. CVS needs to come in and clean house. This is a 24 hour pharmacy and should be a flagship store. Obviously the manager doesn't see this or doesn't care. I needed copies of my passport pics that CVS had done a couple of years ago. I took my old photos there but they said their system did not retain photographs for that long. They said they would retake my photograph and give me new copies. I did not want to pay for a new picture since they are expensive. The manager Crystal said that they would do it without charge since I had taken the original with them. The store person Kennedy took my photograph and gave me my new passport photos in 15 minutes. I couldn't be happier with the service and the kindness that Crystal and Kennedy gave me. Hats off to them and CVS for their wonderful customer service. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They have never filled a prescription on time. If they say it will be an hour, give it eight and even then, don't count on it. At least twice I have shown up after they texted me a message saying my prescription was ready only to get there and be told it wasn't actually ready. Once I dropped off a prescription, was told it would be a few hours then went to pick it up and was told they didn't actually have the medicine in stock and they would have to order it. I gave them four or five chances because it's 24 hours and very close to my house so I wanted them to succeed and each time I figured that "this time" was an exception but incompetence seems to be the rule at this clown show of a pharmacy. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever experienced. They literally do not answer the phone, refills aren't ready when they're supposed to be, and in order to communicate with them at all, you have to go there in person and wait in a long line that is NOT moving. The whole time, you can hear their phones ringing and not once did they make a move to pick up. And the employees shuffle around like they're sedated. Apparently in contrast to other Yelpers, I have never once had a bad experience here at CVS. Do you have to wait in line sometimes? Yes. That is how a pharmacy goes. But I have never witnessed the staff there acting lazy or complacent- they certainly do their job sufficiently as fast as they can. It seems, like with any medical facility, they want to do the job right so they simply don't rush through things. Also, I love their member rewards program. Its totally free and because I refill/pick up my medications there, I get all sorts of good coupons/deals. Works out great for me. Plus, there's a Redbox right outside ;) My one-stop-shop. PS. I had to randomly run in here at 4 in the morning due to chigger bites keeping me up all night- the woman at the pharmacy was so sweet and helpful :) Such a relief. read more

That is if they have my medicine in stock , which they do not all the time , last time I had to get my Losartan transferred to Kroger because CVS was back ordered. It was like night and day . This cvs is within 1/2 mile of my house. I recently had surgery which required pain meds. I had my doctor call in a refill last Friday afternoon. Two hours later, a friend went to pick it up and was told the doctor had nor called it in. I was furious with my doctor and was completely out of my pain meds as of Saturday morning. I left messages with my doctors service all weekend thinking it was the doctors fault. MONDAY morning I get a text from cvs saying the script was ready!!! When i picked it up i spoke with the pharmacist and asked WHEN they got the script. She stated FRIDAY evening!!! When i asked WHY it took three days to fill it, she said "we very busy". When i asked her why i was told that the script had not been called in, when in fact, it had been, she stated. "We very busy". This is a 24 hour pharmacy!!!! I will never spend one more penny at a cvs pharmacy. There is NO excuse for this. read more
