Today I picked up two prescriptions at two different pharmacies. One this CVS and one another pharmacy. This CVS did not give me a doctor consult after picking up a new prescription. While the other, non CVS Pharmacy did give me a doctor consult with the second new prescription today. Just goes to show you some pharmacies are better than others! read more

I wish I could give them a 'minus star' review. This is BY FAR the worst/slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. This isn't a one time experience either, this is EVERY time I've been there. The employees are extremely rude and could care less if there are any problems. Today I was trying to find out the status of a prescription and sat on the phone for 28mins. before they eventually answered the phone. Normally I wouldn't have waited even 10mins. for what should have been a very simple question, but I wanted to see just how long they would leave a customer on hold, and sadly I found out. If there was anyway to give less than one star I would. If you need medicine because your life depends on it. Buy a ticket fly to Bangladesh become a citizen find a doctor get a prescription fly back to the US and get it filled anywhere but here and it will be faster. Even if you drop off a prescription and tell them the next day is fine to pick it up TRUST ME it won't be ready. read more

If you HAVE to go to CVS, go to the one on University. Every time I went to the CVS on Teasley, I had a bad experience. The worst? I needed a common type of prescription, and when I went to fill it, they said that CVS didn't carry it in that size any longer. I had to call my doctor and change my prescription size from 1 gram to 500 milligrams. Then, I went back to CVS, and they said they didn't have it in stock, but they would get it in 2 days. I went back in 2 days to get it before an ice storm hit, and they still did not have it, so I had to go without the medicine throughout the storm. After 2 weeks without the medicine, I called the CVS on University -- they had the prescription in stock in 1 gram and never experienced a stock issue. I've had bad experiences at most CVS pharmacies, but never as bad as this! read more

Horrible customer service. In a span of one year since I moved to this area, this place has consistently disappointed me. As other reviewers and tipsters have said, it takes them forever to fill your prescription! I really wanted to stay with this CVS location since it is very convenient from work and home. However, sanity and peace of mind trumps convenience. I've taken extra measure to call prior to picking up my medications to make sure that my prescriptions are ready by the time I get there. I was calling every month for the refills to the point that Michael (I think that's his name) who works at the pharmacy told me on the phone that one day he would be able to recognize my voice rather than just remember me when I tell him my name...now, he was nice but I think he left...also, he was nice but it did not make the prescriptions get filled faster..Yesterday was it for me. I checked on a refill that I submitted through the Internet. It notified me that they have to contact my doctor since I don't have any refills left. That's fine, no problem. I waited a couple of days and have not gotten notified, so I called to check what was the holdup. The person who answered said they've sent the fax to the doctor but my doctor has not responded. I said, "can you please follow up?" not annoyed or anything at all...guess what, the woman on the other line says "no we don't do that"...i thought I misheard so i asked again can you follow up and she again said we don't do that and I was just surprised with her response...I told her that they have followed up before without me asking and she proceeded to tell me she won't argue with how the system works but we don't do that but she will follow up...now she is doing me a favor? Spoke with supervisors (manager was out) who apologized profusely since they can't believe what the person told me. I found out from the supervisor that I was speaking to the main pharmacist. Anyway, I contacted my doctor and I found out that they never got a request...I am not saying that the pharmacist lied but this is the reason why a follow-up is needed when you don't get a response...not everything goes through perfectly even if you get a confirmation that transmission was complete. I was given the district manager's name and phone number to call directly. I really liked the cvs bucks that I was getting but not worth it for this particular location. I've just transferred my prescription to Walgreens and I got a $25.00 coupon, crossing fingers things would be better! read more

WORST PHARMACY EVER. Not sure what else to say - slow, lost prescription that they filled while I was waiting, rude staff. Did not ask for insurance card when they took prescriptions and then when I paid told me I had to stand in a different line if I wanted to use insurance. And this is a pharmacy that has my insurance card on file. read more

They are really slow at filling prescriptions. My most recent example: I transferred a prescription in the evening and they asked if they could do it the next morning. They were unusually busy. I said yes, but to please have it done by 10:30 am. I was trying to be sly...maybe they would have it done by 3 pm if I asked for it by 10:30 am. I get a call the next morning at 11 am, and the computerized voice says it's filled. I go in at 3:30. Not done. I couldn't even act surprised. read more

Unfriendly, almost as if put out by my $130 prescription business...took them 13 hours to fill it as well, and when it wasn't ready, the lady said "well the day shift didn't get to it and I'm here alone with the drive thru and phones and everything". As if this were my problem as the customer... I usually use University cvs and will make sure that's where I go from now on! read more

This pharmacy is the best!! I had a prescription for eye drops that was going to cost me $130 and the pharmacist gave me a coupon from her personal stash for that specific medicine that dropped the price to $25!!! I am very grateful and now this is my pharmacy of choice. read more

I have used the clinic here for the ear infections, croup and other general maladies that my kids pick up at school. It's usually pretty quick and they send the scripts directly to the pharmacy for you. No one is happy when they go to the doctor, but they make it pretty painless. read more

Once agin had to go 3 times to fill a medicane and now saying it is not able to be filled. Child now has to go with out meds till get this figured out. Friday was told give 20 minutes, Saturday morning was told give 20 mins Sunday night told they couldn't fill. It is sad that people do not do there job or do they care! read more

Come on, is it really that hard to count pills? I dropped off a prescription for antibiotics at 4pm. They said it would be an hour so I didn't wait. I came back at 7pm & it still wasn't ready. I can SEE the disorganization just standing there watching them! If you were so busy that you couldn't fill my prescription, you should have told me and let me make a decision to take it someplace else. I needed to start those meds right away, not a day later. Way overpriced! Be careful as they offer a lot of coupons but still overpriced, compared to Kroger nearby. CVS is a marketing science case study for tricky pricing strategies! I would recommend ONLY go there to pay for convenience as they are on a corner and parking was easy. read more

I love the fact that this location is 24 hours, including the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff, though aren't overall the friendliest bunch. When asking the pharmacist the location of an offer the counter drug, I was told they don't even make it over the counter. Really? After doing some searching myself, I found it. There was a younger employee working the drive thru that was friendly enough, but the others aren't. I experienced the same delays as other reviewers with meds. read more

They don't refill prescription when called in, then misplace it when you come by to pick it up. Always a long wait at the window despite even not having another car there. Pharmacists are generally very nice but the pharmacy technicians need batter training on their job and customer care. read more

By far the worst pharmacy use. I never write reviews but I had to do this after the last issue I had with them. Both the pharmacist and the techs NEVER smile. They act like they are bothered they are helping you. I called to get pricing information on a prescription that was recently called in by my doctor. The lady I spoke to huffing and puffing the entire time she was on the phone. She was so agitated that I had to tell her "please don't be rude because I am just asking some questions"she proceeded to place me on hold. I was on hold for 12 mins before a gentleman answered the phone. When he got on the phone he stayed he was the pharmacy tech and asked how he could help. This is not the first time these people had acted this way at this specific pharmacy. I asked the gentlemen to give me info on who it was I was speaking and to my surprise it was the actual pharmacist. This is horrible they act like I am not paying for this. I pay copays and they get my insurance payment what the issue is and why they are so upset when helping their customer is beyond me. I have made the decision to transfer ALL of my prescriptions elsewhere. read more
