If you only visit to pump gas and stay outside, it's a 5 star experience. I've been here many times, but have only gone inside perhaps 4 times.
Unlike other locations they always have receipt paper, window washing fluid and paper towels. The parking lot is big enough to accommodate the pumps and there are entrances from both streets of the intersection. It's always a quick in and out to get gas without waiting in line and the prices aren't far off from other gas stations on that road. For me, those are the most important aspects when stopping at any gas station.
Once inside, the rating drops a little. Although the selection of products inside is decent for a 7-Eleven, the stocking is minimal. That's a pre COVID observation as well. While I'm sure shortages and transportation delays make that more challenging now, staying stocked has never seemed to be a priority for this location beforehand and what's the point of going inside if you don't have what I need?
The pastries seem decently fresh but the meals to go section where they have things like fruit, cheese, yogurt, etc. has been questionable more often than not, and several times I saw expired products. To be fair, 3 of the 4 visits were early weekday mornings so that may have to do with their stocking schedule, but nobody wants to buy expired food so that should really be removed and just remain empty until the new product is available.
The restroom is atrocious and hasn't been cleaned in what has to be many months. I've only been in their restroom twice, but it wasn't clean the first time and much worse the second time. I feel bad for anyone needing to change their child's diaper as they have the changing table blocked off with a trash can and no dust/grime free surfaces to set your items down while you attempt to move it.
Still, there are many times during the day when the fuel centers at Kroger and Walmart are inconvenient to get to and during those times, this is still easy access, so great for a fill up and to clean all that construction dust off your windshield! read more
