At the drive-thru, they handed me my food and let me know they'd bring the candle out separately. When I got home, I realized they had accidentally given me two candles, one was tucked inside my food bag and another had been brought out separately. I called to let them know because I wanted to pay for the extra candle (I absolutely love their candles and wanted to keep it!). The sweet lady I spoke with on the phone was incredibly kind and told me not to worry about it, they wanted me to enjoy the second candle on them. That level of customer service is so rare these days. Everyone was friendly, appreciative, and genuinely cared about making the experience a great one. Between the delicious food, fantastic coffee, and outstanding customer service, Marty B's continues to be one of my favorite places. And if you haven't tried their candles yet, you're missing out! I picked up their new Cherry Almond Buttercream scent, and it smells absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!

However, when the food was brought out a few minutes later, the mood shifted. The staff member made a very condescending comment, saying, "We were calling your name for minutes and you weren't here. Are you sure you were here the whole time?" We politely told them we had been at the table the entire time, but the interaction left a sour taste in our mouths.
