This place has the worst service. Out of the six times I've been there five times. The order was completely incorrect or the things we ordered weren't completed meaning ingredients were missing. They hire a bunch of teenagers. Don't train them or manage them. Product could be great. read more

In my complete and honest opinion, I think that Bahama Bucks is a very good snow cone place. However, I feel that the customer service could be better. The food is delicious when made correctly but lately that has not been the case, most commonly the flavoring has bot been put throughout and the toppings have either been wrong or missing. The vibe of the store is also inconsistent, sometimes I am greeted outgoing and hardworking individuals but other times by kids who don't even want to take my order. I used to be a frequent Bahama goer, the quality of snow cones was impeccable. Never got my order wrong, never skimped on toppings, and always greeted me happily at the door or drive through window. However, the last few times I have been to this establishment, I have been heavily disappointed. The most recent time I have been in, I was greeted with frowning faces, and the workers were unwilling to take my order. They rolled their eyes at me when asked to fix my incorrect snowcone, and pulled someone from the back to take my order because no one else wanted to. The quality of the snowcones has significantly deteriorated. There has been numerous times where my toppings were either incorrect or non existent. As well as the flavors not being put throughout the snowcone anymore, they have also stopped putting my toppings inside the middle of my cone, not just on top. Furthermore, the presentation of the snowcones have been wrong, including missing spoons and missing umbrellas, which would not be an issue, except that they are not available to the buyers, they are only on the service side of the counter. The ambiance of the store lately has felt stand-offish, and with a lack of urgency and customer service. We chose Bahama Bucks with our hour of freedom, and they did not disappoint! The staff there are amazing, and they made our night! I have been coming to this location for years now, and usually have pretty good experiences, and if there's been an issue with my order the staff has always been friendly and fixed it quickly. Last night however was a different story. I went with my family and we ordered 2 snos and 1 smoothie, I ordered the creamsicle sno because I have been seeing ads for it on social media a lot and thought it looked good. Apparently there is also a smoothie version but I specifically asked for the sno and the employee that took our order did not ask anything to clarify or confirm, so I just assumed that meant he got my order. But when our order was ready they had made 2 smoothies and 1 sno, they had made mine into a smoothie. I went to the counter and told the employee it was supposed to be a sno and not a smoothie and he said "you ordered the smoothie" and rolled his eyes and then said "but we'll remake it for you" and walked off. The employee was then loudly telling the other employees that I ordered incorrectly and wanted it remade. I didn't say anything because I wasn't trying to argue over it, but it was very uncomfortable the way he was acting like I did something wrong. He then gave me my sno and it was also not made correctly, it was missing the tropic cream and ice cream that made it an orange creamsicle. I just received an orange sno. I did not approach the employees again because I did not want the confrontation, but it was very frustrating to have paid over $6 for a small snocone and not have it made correctly TWICE. There did not appear to be a manager working at the time as all the employees were teenagers, and there was no contact or feedback forms available in the app or on their website, they just direct me to contact the store directly with an issue. So since there wasn't another way to provide this feedback I figured I'd leave this here. Yes, this is just over a sno cone so it's not really a serious matter, but it was a frustrating experience to have such a rude/awkward experience with the employee and also to not have my order made correctly. read more

There were 4 people working the drive through and 2 working the counter. 1 was making everything and the other was working the register. They not only have shaved ice, but they also have combos with ice cream, smoothies, and more. If you want something different, try a Bahama Rama Mama - it's shaved ice with ice cream in it. On hot summer days, Bahama Buck's is my go to. This location is particular gets very busy. If it's a warm afternoon, you could wait up to 20-30 minutes in the drive thru line. If you go through the drive thru, they ask if you want a flat top so the extra shaved ice doesn't melt in your car. The staff is generally friendly; typically they hire teenagers so they're nice but not the quickest team. The inside of the building does get messy and crowded but they do have outdoor seating. If you live in Texas and have never been to Bahama Buck's, get there soon! read more
