My friends and I stopped in this weekend for some delicious bubble tea. We got the regular milk tea, brown sugar, and the mango coconut. The regular milk tea and brown sugar was delicious and didn't taste artificial at all (like when you just use the powdered milk tea packets). My friend didn't enjoy her mango coconut as much as she said the mango syrup was a little too sweet for her liking. Pricing was a bit up there but honestly consistent with most of the places in this area - we paid about ~$17 for 3 drinks. Staff was friendly and was quick to cashing us out and getting us our drinks. The shop itself was clean from visible debris on the floor but there was some drink stains and splashes on the walls. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend Bubble Well. I was drawn in by the idea of drinks made with fresh juices like watermelon and pineapple, so I opted for the pineapple juice at 75%. Unfortunately, it was overwhelmingly sweet and didn't taste fresh at all-I couldn't even finish it, barley a 1/4 of it, and had to throw it away. It feels like Denton has a trend of Americanizing Asian food and drink spots, which is disappointing. Having tried authentic boba in Asia and other parts of the U.S., this place just feels like another watered-down version. The service was brief, and while the aesthetic is cute with the Corgis and a decent amount of seating, the atmosphere felt pretty lifeless. Overall, not a great experience. read more

I got the black milk tea with boba (it came out to a staggering $5 but that's what happens when there's 1 boba shop for miles) and was blown away. The boba was chewy and had the essential qq element, and the milk tea was sweet but not too sweet. The service: Didn't have a lot of interaction with the people who make the magic happen, but what I did was really positive. The guy who took our order was super friendly and very energetic. They're usually busy with a handful of customers, but I've seen every seat filled on several occasions I've stopped by. The people who work here are very nice and patient. The seating is actually really comfortable and there's a lot of options. I generally order the same drink (as pictured), and every time it's perfect. Something I really appreciate from places like this is consistency. I also love their cups! I always love trying different boba places, and the cups definitely make a huge difference. To me it was just ok. I've had Rose Boba at 2 other locations and I would rank this one 3rd. Something with the base was off and didn't really go well with the taste of the Rose. I didn't know milk teas in general is made out of powder? Or is it? Well it is here! The Hokkaido,Taro and even the green milk tea is made from powder. I witnessed it myself when I asked for a sample! Maybe I'm overreacting since I didn't know that already but yeah. The staff was kind to offer samples. Prices are normal like any other boba shop. I have never tried them at Bubble Well, they were all really great! Let's take one by one. Watermelon GT, you right away taste the fresh watermelon that has been juiced and ends with Green Tea taste. This is super refreshing and I'd totally recommend for a hot weather especially in coming months when TX heat picks it up. It wasn't my drink; so, I don't know if there were watermelon bits - it would be a good plus for me if it's not already a thing. Brown Sugar MT was one of delicious and creamy one I've had so far. We all know that one chain that solely focuses on Brown Sugar, but Bubble Well replicates its own style Brown Sugar MT pretty well. I enjoyed that creamy foam on top that mixes especially with brown sugar syrup and milk. Lastly, my drink, Mango Coconut. This drink speaks SUMMER and TROPICAL as you sip through the drink. This is a perfect drink for lactose fam since it has coconut milk instead of Regular Milk. The sweetness was perfect to me, I absolutely loved the mango puree and coconut milk together. I don't know who that is anymore DRINK: I ALWAYS get the Taro Milk tea with Cream Cheese foam top and boba!! The taro is already great by itself, but by adding the cheese cream top, it makes it even more creamy! If you don't like taro though, I highly recommend the Hokkaido milk tea. Let's just say that when I first heard this place was opening up.. I got super excited & had some pretty high expectations. All of have to say is, thanks Bubble Well, you're my favorite boba place in Denton right now. I have only tried it twice, the first time i didnt care for my drink but that is all my own fault as i got the watermelon green tea which is made with fresh watermelon juice and unfortunately i really dislike fresh watermelon. however, this drink would be perfect for someone who does like fresh watermelon. as for my second experience i just walked out with a black sugar milk tea which is lovely and creamy but way too sweet. this again is my own fault for not asking for less sweetness but i will be sure to do so next time. i give only 4 stars because i feel the cashier should prompt the customer by asking if they would like reduced sweetness as to avoid this situation, however i may be overstepping and i only suggest because we did this at the boba tea place i used to work at. overall, i adore this place and its adorable atmosphere with fantastic drinks made with fresh ingredients and extremely kind staff. they will be recieving a LOT of business from me :) read more

It's okay. The location is a bit sterile... in fact it smells like cleaner. The tapioca is well made, lightly scented, and tastes of sweet jasmine. I'm a fan. The drinks are okay, mostly par for the course. some of their teas are powder based, and you can feel the powder when you drink. I find most of them are too sweet, but I usually drink unsweetened tea, so most Boba trends too sweet for me. Bottomline: It's okay, nothing special, but nothing to keep me away. read more
