It's okay. The location is a bit sterile... in fact it smells like cleaner. The tapioca is well made, lightly scented, and tastes of sweet jasmine. I'm a fan. The drinks are okay, mostly par for the course. some of their teas are powder based, and you can feel the powder when you drink. I find most of them are too sweet, but I usually drink unsweetened tea, so most Boba trends too sweet for me. Bottomline: It's okay, nothing special, but nothing to keep me away. read more

IMy husband and I visited last night for our 1st time. We chatted with the lovely lady about their teas, which were decaf, suggestions, before taking our order. They have oolong which is my favorite tea, but they also have rose milk tea and lavender milk tea, which I have never seen in a bubble tea cafe. Lavender is my all time favorite (lavender - cake, tea, cookies, etc) so I was happy to try this new to me lavender milk tea. The barista said 'it is very flowery and if you like lavender, you will like the lavender milk tea.' So I ordered the lavender milk tea with pearls. They make everything fresh here, and there were about 3 parties whom had just ordered ahead of us, so the wait was about 15 minutes. We got there at 8:45 and they close at 9. So we headed out. I'm 90% sure they made me the incorrect tea :-( I'm pretty sure it was chai tea they made by mistake. It was black tea with high notes of cinnamon, cardamom, a little peppery. Nothing like lavender, flowery... The tea was ok, but I am not a big fan of chai tea or cinnamon. I have never ordered it out. The tapioca/pearls/boba were delicious! My husband got the mango green milk tea with mango popping boba. Hands down 5 stars, the best of it's kind! read more

Really!?! Ugh....so I tried rewording and asking again. I was told I could smell the jars of tea leaves. That still doesn't help me know the difference in taste. Is one stronger, more earthy, bitter, floral? Be an expert in what you do. The drink that I ordered was good. The boba was fresh. I definitely prefer the number of choices and the helpful staff of Share Tea on University Dr. over this place, but they're unfortunately a further drive for me as well. read more

I went here about 3 weeks ago for the first time, I will also say it was the first time I've ever had boba in my life. I went in with absolutely no idea what to get and I was met with welcoming and kind customer service! They even asked me some questions about what I normally like to drink with flavors, sweetness level etc. I ended up with a Carmel Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls and WOW, not only does it look exactly like that emoji it tasted like a dream. Perfectly sweet and the chewiness of the boba was enjoyable and really added to my drinking experience. I've now been back 4 times even though it's a 15 minute drive from my house. 10/10 read more

Every since Bubble Well opened, it has been my go to boba tea place. I have been completely satisfied with the amazing staff and the quality of the drinks. I am in love with their new renovation as well! My go to drink is the taro milk tea (sometimes I like it with the cream cheese foam) and it is so delicious! Since I am in a review mood today, I might as well give my favorite boba shop a review! Since moving to Denton, 4 years ago, this has been our weekend stop before we start off our day. I've seen the menu changed a few times since this place open. But good news, everything they have is so delicious!! I usually start off was the basic classic milk tea, that's how you know if it's a great boba shop or not. Sooooo delicious and boba is perfectly chewy ! They also used to have herb jelly, but that was taken off a few years back. Wish they would bring it back. Other than that, they have yummy house coffee and Vietnamese coffee too! Saw pictures of the cups on yelp and def wanted to check it out! There aren't many boba places in Denton, so if you're local, you should definitely check it out! The cafe is very spacious and clean. They also offer a variety of different board games for people that like to sit-in! I got the rose milk tea and I liked how strong the rose taste was in the drink. Rose milk tea isn't too common in general, so having a strong rose taste is also hard to come by. They also have a great policy, so if you don't like your drink, or if they didn't make it to your liking, it's okay to ask them to change it or fix it! It's in a plaza along the main road so tons of free parking! I don't live close, but if I'm ever in the area I'm definitely gonna stop back in! read more

I was visiting a friend at UNT and was craving some boba when I found this place! There's not many boba places in Denton, and Bubble Well had the highest stars overall, so I thought I'd give it a try. They offer a decent amount of milk teas and fruit teas! I went with a rose milk tea at 70% sugar with mini boba. I should've gone with 50% sugar or even 30% sugar though. Even at 70% sugar, it was still way too sweet for me. However, I did like the taste of it. The rose taste was strong without being overpowering. I do have to say though, the mini boba was not completely cooked through. The center of the boba was still starchy and hard, which I definitely did not enjoy eating, but it's okay! The interior of the cafe was somewhat... empty. They don't offer a lot of seating and the decorations are minimal (but cute!). Staff was friendly and helpful as well! I live 45 minutes away, so I doubt I'll be back unless I visit Denton again, but if you're in the area, I do recommend trying this place out- it's pretty authentic (just lower the sugar). read more

The passion fruit tea had a strong flavor and the strawberry tea tasted like mangos and strawberry lemonade and was my favorite. The Taro milk tea was probably my least favorite and I'd say it tasted like watered down cereal milk but the place was really cute I would recommend.
