Flower child is a great place to always get something that is fresh and good quality. All the dishes always taste good no matter what you pick. I tried the strawberry fields salad with chicken added and goat cheese on the side. It was REALLY GOOD. I usually get the Mother Earth or Pokey one. The Mother Earth is my personal favorite and I wanted to try something new this time. You can add any meat to any meal. You can also do no meat. They also have kombucha on tap which is an awesome idea! They are not always the same depending on the season and time of the year. They always have tea in the back if you do order a drink and it's pretty good. I always find myself mixing them. Place is always cute decor and vibrant! Parking was easy minus the guy that stole my spot when I was patiently waiting but couldn't see me on the other side and just pulled right into it... read more

Soooo, we are loving Flower Child!! The hubs and I have been on a vegan kick for the past couple of months and we have been super pleased with the vegan and vegetarian dishes that Flower Child has to offer! I love the Forbidden rice bowl with no protein and my husband loves the Veggie Plate with 3 options. The vibe is so fun and service is always fast! For my vegan and vegetarian peeps, Flower Child offers pretty good tofu and the avocado hummus is wonderful! read more

I'd like to learn more how they prepare the protein - as all of them seem pre-cooked and waiting for a microwave vs fresh cooked on grill. I would LOVE to learn what if any items are made on grill fresh AND fully cooked. If so, I could tolerate this place more. This is a ladies lunch spot more than anything else. It is what it is... enjoy. read more

This bowl was really good and flavorful. I would recommend it and would eat it again. It was a decent amount of shrimp included in the bowl. Besides it being just brown rice, I also liked that the bowl included lots of veggies like water chestnuts, carrots and peas. I ordered for pickup through their app and my order was ready early. read more

Food was so good here for healthy options. Cali flour was crisp and had a flavor that made me enjoy eating veggies. You can choose one, two, or three options and make your own plate and add a protein. I don't recommend that pho. It was very basic, the broth had no flavor and noodles weren't cooked all the way.. unless they were going for that texture. The make your own plate was good though. Very busy location in Addison, but there's plenty of seating, service was great, it's a very bright and pretty environment. I recommend for a healthy choice. read more

Adorable restaurant!! Cost is on the higher end but the food was amazing! Beautiful vibrant colorful dishes. -Good parking -Friendly welcoming staff -Clean & casual with a hipster flair -Fresh, healthy, delicious -Great atmosphere for our little meetup group Ordered the Mother Earth bowl with steak - sweet potatoes were amazing. This will run you about $17, a bit pricey but the food was good and I felt good eating it too. Eat well, feel well right?? lol Others at the table got the Spicy Curry bowl, the Avocado wrap, and the Birds the Word wrap. Everything was tasty and filling. I would most likely come back, but as a meat lover, this place will be one of those once in awhile I'm-on-a-health-kick options for me. They even have a place for you to park your yoga mats!! Highly recommend. read more

The food tastes great, and the staff is friendly. Kyaa was working in the to go section and helped me select a great meal. She was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Everything she suggested was delicious which included the salmon (blackened), red chile glazed sweet potato, asparagus & quinoa tabbouleh, and the lemon olive oil cake. I will be a regular here. read more

Flower Child, along with all other Fox Restaurant Concepts entities, was acquired by Cheesecake Factory in mid-2019. It has changed a bit since its beginnings in Arizona...with fewer menu items and larger portions, but there still are plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, omnivores, and those looking for gluten free. We chose this location early on a Saturday evening. There wasn't much of a crowd inside, but they were doing a steady carry-out / curbside business. It took a few minutes for anyone to notice us at the 'dine-in' register, but we did receive an apology for the wait. We decided to eat on the patio, and waited about 10 minutes before one of our meals arrived. The other two took another 3-5 minutes. The food was very good, as expected. The middle eastern-flavored cracked cauliflower and quinoa was a favorite. The sweet corn and quinoa tasted very rich. The red chile sweet potato had just enough spice. Finally, the gluten-free mac was a familiar comfort food. All portions were ample and very filling. We would eat here again when in the area. read more

Good mac and cheese and steak. Love the decorations inside and seating area outside. Usually pretty quick.

My wife and I love the food here and routinely order off of our Flower Child apps. HOWEVER, they are habitually 15-20 minutes LATE from the time of pickup which steals our time. They MUST fix this logistical SNAFU! read more

After donating blood we wanted to have some healthy food. Found this place using yelp; it was fairly busy when we entered but were lucky enough to grab a table inside as a party was leaving. The ambiance and staff was friendly and happy. We ordered the Kale Salad add steak, so so perfect. My wife had the Flying Avocado Wrap which she really enjoyed but wished there was more avocado in it. Thank you for a great experience. Most likely will want to bump this up to a 5 stars once we return and see more avocado in a avocado dish! read more

Tried flower child for our anniversary! Wife being a vegetarian, we were both excited. Though they had a lot of options, but we found the food to be a bit bland. Even the kids had a hard time eating their Mac'n Cheese analogous pasta. Maybe its more enjoyed by folks with a lighter pallet. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Food here is always fresh, good, and delicious. It has a very bright and vibrant atmosphere. It's very modern. I always get the salmon (medium) and two sides. The mac and cheese is delicious! Try it out! A little over priced, but worth it. read more

Hello Linda's I'm back giving you all the goods on my latest Flower Child experience. I went there for lunch today because I normally have an amazing food experience. Today, convinced me that the location really matters. The first picture is of the sad little bowl that they gave me today. Once, I got back to the office and picked up my face and gave myself a pep talk. I said it doesn't matter how it looks that it's still going be amazing! Wrong Linda's!!! It was so bad that I couldn't even eat it. Like Mary J Blige all I could do was reminisce and I was forever reminded that location matters. I am definitely hesitant to go back this location. Check reviews Linda's so your not still hungry at lunch. read more

Not going to lie, when I first came here I expected to hate this place or I tried to. The food is a bit over priced & the whole atmosphere seemed gimmicky. I thought the whole purpose of this place was just to show that it's instagram-worthy, but you can tell from the pictures I kept coming here. Flower child is a great lunch spot, especially when I'm working & don't want to feel so full & bloated going back to work. The ambiance is so picturesque, & the food is plated beautifully each time. Great spot for lunch, or time with friends. Super random but I love their bathroom too. It gives off a retro vintage vibe that is perfect for social media. My favorite things to get are pictured below; the turkey avocado cobb is great for a quick light lunch. If I'm like I need more protein while still wanting to feel good, I'll order the Mother Earth bowl & add salmon. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they were sweet enough to give 35% off each order every-time you ordered. My usual go-to order recently has been the flying avocado wrap. It's so good & filling without the guilt. I wish they offered the avocado hummus appetizer as a to-go option cause it's one of my favorites here. If you want to eat something filling & healthy without feeling bloated, give this place a try they have a lot of options I didn't even get to mention! read more

Service: everyone was nice Ambience: cute walls and art Food -glow bowl was confusing? I thought there would be actual glass noodles but it's shredded sweet potato. Carrots could have been prepped better. -steak: I got it on the side, nice texture and chewy but lacks flavor -Mac and cheese: good -butternut squash risotto: enjoyed the flavor -avocado toast: flavorl Overall, nice light meal, wish there was more flavor in certain dishes read more

This Flower Child is the perfect example of great hospitality. Today was my first experience at a Flower Child and I was blown away by their customer service, the quality of the food and the noticeably clean restaurant. Every employee I encountered had a welcoming smile and acknowledged me from the moment I walked in. Due to COVID-19, I wasn't able to dine-in but it was clear the entire staff was taking extra precautions to maintain a healthy environment and a safe distance. Many guest pulled curbside and the employees brought their food to the car which is extremely convenient and considerate of the guest. Thank you Flower Child Addison for the delicious food and the amazing customer service during this hard time. read more

AMAZING! My mom raved about this place and it was constantly recommended by Yelp so I finally gave in. The food is filling and never makes me feel bloated. The first time I went there I tried the Mother Earth bowl with the chicken and I loved everything in there with the exception of the pistachio pesto so I subbed that for extra sweet potatoes the next time I went. I have also tried the Entree w/ two sides got the salmon with a side of sweet potatoes and the sweet corn and quinoa and I didn't to stop eating. The service every time I've been here has been great and if it's something that matters to you, this place is also really pretty. read more

If I had to pick one favorite restaurant when dinning out it would definitely be Flower Child. The typical overly used words like amazing and delicious don't do it justice. Their food gives me a pleasurable feeling which mimics that of a nutritious home cooked meal. No other restaurant I've been to has ever been able to replicate this sensation. Every menu item is full of flavor and freshness. I particularly love the Thai Dye wrap. It's filled with spicy organic tofu, Thai basil, avocado, carrot, daikon radish, cilantro and snap pea. Mother Earth and Glow bowls are also excellent choices. You can pair these with your favorite meat, fish or tofu. Their seasonal lemonades and iced teas are extremely refreshing and very similar to the beverages offered by Veggie Grill restaurants in California. The menu price point is right where it should be. This particular location has a large dinning area which is usually very crowded along with plenty of parking. The overall service was excellent. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It is a bit expensive- too expensive for me to eat everyday BUT I never regret a purchase because it is always delicious. I can also enjoy knowing everything is healthy and fresh. My favorite is the forbidden rice with steak the portion is so big I can usually save half for the next day. YES to leftovers for lunch!!! There is so much flavor in this bowl and the steak is always soft and cooked well. It's never dry. Some other items I love are the yuzu Brussels sprouts, the avocado side, the mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, avocado toast and roasted broccoli. I love the different drink options they have available like the teas and soda pops. There is so much seating inside but it's always so busy it can be hard to find somewhere to sit during peak times. That is just more proof that this place is amazing. And they are available in Doordash so if it's too cold and you don't want to leave your house it's OK. They'll come to you lol read more

Yummy!! This place is delicious. I don't usually give restaurants five stars, but I would highly recommend eating here. It's on the pricier side, but the food is healthy and organic. We had such a sweet server who was accommodating to all of our needs. I ordered the mother earthed with steak and was pleased with how it tasted. Something to note is that the protein doesn't come with most of the dishes if not all of them, so be sure to double check that. I would definitely recommend!! read more

VERY Delicious food! We came over for our weekly girls lunch , The place has a calm looking atmosphere but the music is super loud we had to shout across to each other while social distancing. Today was really disappointing, and to be honest I've never had the best food here. Today though my mom ordered a plate with chicken, broccoli, and sweet potatoes. The chicken was super dry and the sweet potatoes were big halfway cooked chunks. I got a plate with shrimp, sweet potatoes and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was good, but you get like 6 shrimp which isn't much for the price. Then they brought the food and I told the manager? That I didn't order broccoli but instead sweet potatoes. I apologized cause I hate to be a pain but he just walked away.. didn't offer to bring the right side or apologize. I don't know, overall for what you pay I just don't think it's necessarily great food. read more

Omgosh, so cute and so good! I loved the hippie decor, tons of plants. The menu was great, very fresh. I got the Grain Gain bowl and we also tried the hummus. My bowl had tons of flavor and was reasonably priced. They gave good gluten free options too that my friend enjoyed. read more

My meal was balanced and wholesome, It tasted great together and separately. & I really enjoyed the feeling I got after eating, Where your belly is full and you DON'T feel like a huge sack of potatoes. The portions were great for me (a petite 110 lbs plain jane) but may not be ideal for others. I got a plate with 3 sides & felt unsure if $9 was a good price to pay or not. (Nevertheless, ive already gone there 3x in one week) They don't get 5 bc Ive ordered online a few times and I don't think the food should be left on a shelf THAT close to the front door. Also, they should play up the online orders a little more. Throw something in there to keep me coming back for more. Ultimately in the end, this is good quality food, that tastes good, looks good & is good for you . Eat in for a modern and trendy dining experience read more

Plenty of healthy options. Great food. Service was decent. All in all solid choice.

Flower Child did not live up to my expectations. I was so excited to dine here. Especially after reading all the great reviews. The seasonal lemonade was the best part of my meal. The lemonade was delicious. I mixed the Rosé flavor with the Grapefruit Mango. For my entree I chose the Mother Earth Bowl and added Salmon. The presentation was good, but the food was flavorless and bland. It was definitely healthy and I love the concept. However, it was just blah and boring. I may try something else in the future. I left feeling disappointed. The ambiance was comfortable and it was clean. The cashier was helpful and friendly. Overall just ok for me. I really wanted to like this place. read more

This place is nice and had great options for healthy eaters. Unfortunately, no one I went with was full after they ate their meal. Prices would be good if I felt full after my meal.
