My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our experience with Flossy Pet Pawlor. We were looking for an experienced groomer salon not too far from us because our dog is pretty anxious when it comes to trimming or grinding nails. The owner, Vee (unsure if I'm spelling this right/wrong) made us feel so welcome and assured us our dog was in great hands. In the grooming room, he explained each step he was taking to ensure the process went safely and smoothly. He emphasized that he wanted to make sure our dog was comfortable but secure. He had a second groomer who was helping out when needed and learning at the same time. He also let us know that instead of clipping, they do doing nail grinding and as a plus, it's better when dogs have dark nails. We appreciated being able to view the experience and also get this insight. The process was indeed smooth and quick and our pup left happily. We will definitely be coming back for future nail filings. Thanks so much! read more

Great service and fabulous hair styling for our Brussels griffon. We will definitely be back. Our dog is usually really nervous around new people, but she took to the groomer immediately. read more

Just moved to the area and found Flossy Pet Pawlor on Google and decided to get a full grooming for our 35lb labradoodle, Charlie. Upon arriving, the owner took us to the back to ensure he understood what we'd want for our dogs haircut. He showed us what a long summer cut looked like and was extremely attentive, polite, and welcoming. Our dog has anxiety when my wife and I leave but I know he handled Charlie with extreme care. The price was reasonable at $128 and we were given a $5 digital coupon on our next appointment. Will come again, thank you! read more

10/10!!! My partner and I are both huge dog people. I have a small pet sitting service and he's has had his own dog walking and training business for 7 years- so we are probably very tough customers. I saw a great review for Flossy Pet Parlor on Next Door and we really wanted to find someone local we could trust to take our moyen poodle Phoebe. You guys... it's a husband and wife team who know their stuff! We were welcomed with a smile and excellent energy , they loved up on our girl and made her feel comfortable. We were even taken back to where they would be doing the grooming for a consultation and they made sure to ask all the right questions to ensure they could care for our girl- allergies, preferences etc. We literally didn't recognize her when we picked her up! Give this awesome duo a try! read more

Ok. I just moved to downtown BK and tried a few different groomers for a sanitary bath for my shy dog, and I am so glad I found here! - It was super easy to book it online (props to their innovation!), - The shop was super clean, and - They did a phenomenal job at getting my dog cleaned and also went above and beyond to brush her teeth, better than any salon I've been. - My dog is shy to humans but they handled her nicely. Bonus - their dog Versace just stays at the door calmly when we walk in. Iv never seen such a chill dog lol Thanks Flossy, we'll come back :) read more

Had a great experience with Flossy! My recent rescue dog was in need of a cleanup so I brought him to Flossy. He has a lot of separation anxiety so I was nervous how he'd do but honestly he was less anxious when I picked him up than when I dropped him off! The grooming was perfect and everyone there was incredibly kind. We will definitely be back! read more

It was incredibly easy to book an appointment online, and I showed up just 5 mins early this morning. My pup Pippa is a total nervous nelly, but they took really good care of her and we were done in 10 mins (in total). They accepted credit cards for payment and I've already told a bunch of my neighbors to check out their services because they're so close to us! It's so important to support local small businesses. read more

After trying to find a professional groomer for some time for my dogs first grooming I came across Flossy Pet Pawlor online. After reading all the great reviews I said I had to see for myself, so with high hopes on November 15, 2024 I visited with my Frenchie puppy Thor and can I just say those reviews didn't lie not one bit (sometimes you never know (lol) Anyway, came in for the French Bull Dog Full Groom and before I could even mention his shedding they already knew he would probably need a de-shedding shampoo, of course I agreed and I also mentioned I wanted him to have a medicated bath something for his itchy coat which they had as well. As I was standing there talking they had already started clipping his nails and I was concerned about the blow dryer but surprisingly Thor seemed to love it, go figure. I'm VERY pleased with the customer service from this husband & wife duo, quick responses through email and their time and attention to Thor making him feel comfortable, he's never been this soft and fluffy. I'm so glad I came across Flossy Pet Pawlor and we will be back. Added bonus he slept all the way home. If you're thinking about booking just do it, you wont be disappointed. P.S he still loves his bandanna lol. read more

So happy we brought our cat here! We have a one year old long hair who was much overdue for a sanitary coat trim - he has never been to a groomers before and taking on this type of groom at home was out of the question. When Flossy opened down the street, I was pleased to see they offered cat grooming as a service! The team was very welcoming and started to make our cat feel at ease as soon as we arrived. The appointment lasted just over an hour and when we picked him up, he was like a brand new cat! His coat was silky and smooth, and his sanitary shave was just what he needed to clean up under his tail and back legs. The best part of all was the amazing scent of the products they used. His calm demeanor when we picked him up let's me know the team took amazing care of him during his session. Will definitely be returning for routine upkeep! read more

Flossy Pet Pawlor - Fresh wash and trim - Pet Groomers Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Amazing staff, real dog lovers, caring service and great options for grooming and pet supplies. Strongly recommend it.

What a great experience with Tiffany and the team at Flossy! I took my two (large) dogs in for a full grooming, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best service. They were very efficient with timing and didn't put the dogs in crates after -- which is super important to me. Highly recommend! read more

Second time getting a groom from them. I realllly love this place. They are so kind and so good with her. My dog has never been calmer near people (she's not a people kinda dog) and she seems to love them. She always looks sooo cute after too. They are so attentive and kind and really want you to have a great experience. They even picked her up and dropped her off. ALSO I accidentally missed the time they were supposed to drop her off and they were so patient and kind with me even though they had to wait quite a bit. Truly love the flossy fam. They are the BEST and I am recommending to everyone !!! read more
