Great meal! Just go down and try it out! Walked in selected our table. Met some long time friends and was a joy to see them. Our waitress was very friendly and cheerful. We knew exactly what we wanted so she didn't have to come back a second time to get our order. I really must say it's very casual and it's just perfect for our life style. Still the home of the 10 cent cup of coffee. Certainly recommend this restaurant! Good food and hey you might meet up with some friends too! read more

I have been seated at this diner for about an hour. The first server told us we could get a table right away then gave it to someone else. when I kindly asked the waitress for a water, she told me she couldnt do that due to her having other tables. I have been waiting for 30 minutes for a water, other tables that were sat after me already have their food drinks etc. I dont mind waiting but I think 30 minutes for a water is a bit ridiculous. I think its just because me and my family came here and we are the youngest ones in the building. I would not come here, everyone else who has been sat after us has their food. We are the only ones in the building without a plate infront of them. The table next to us just got here and they already got their food. Awful service, especially on my birthday :) read more

We stopped here on our way back home from Turning Stone. It's one of the only diners you can find on the 31 headed back to Syracuse. Seeing that it was busy, we thought, it must be good! We got breakfast sandwiches and homefries, and the bill was $11. SO cheap compared to some other diners downtown. You also can't be the 10 cent coffee deal. This isn't a flashy diner, but they know who they are, and they're not trying to change that. read more

Yea probably one of the best diners ever... never had a bad meal and you can't beat the price at all. I had the Flos big breakfast and Jenna had the meat slop. We then split a lemon merange pie which was heavenly! All that with 10 cent coffee, like just hit 20 bucks. Absolutely love it! read more

This diner is the BEST! We were so impressed. Great, friendly staff who is charming to families, great service and most importantly great food! The prices are fantastic. You don't have to ask- they gave us a bag with our take out boxes, brought us extra cream for our coffee, filled our cups, asked about desert- didn't rush us. The deserts were fabulous. You can tell this business is a pillar of the community- where the locals go! And for good reason! We will definitely be back! read more

FIRST, let me set your expectations. This is a DINER. Nothing more. Don't come here expecting a whole lot other than diner food. We had eggs, pancakes, hash browns, toast, bacon, sausage....it was all good. Again, it was DINER food, in a small rural area. My expectations were reasonable, and I was not disappointed. The total bill for 3 adults was less than $20 - can you argue with that? read more

Stopped by Flo's for the breakfast buffet today - very yummy! A decent selection of eggs, frittata, french toast, pancakes, Utica greens, sausage gravy and pastries. The frittata had a few more potatoes than I would have like but it was tasty none the less. Although an odd choice on a breakfast buffet the Utica Greens were awesome! Defintely went back for seconds on those! The sausage gravy was disappointing - not very hot and not very flavorful this was the one downside of the meal. It's worth a visit if you find yourself on Route 31 and have a hankering for a good hearty breakfast. read more

Flos diner has some of the best food round and you can't beat the price. The place is all ways clean. Most of the waitress are super nice. On Fridays there have a nice fish fryer. And on Sunday they have a breakfast buffet I have not try it yet I been told it good. This a quaint country diner with good food at reasonable price. I had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. The hamburger steak was a nice size, however it was dry. The mashed potatoes were good and the gravy was very tasty. The greens beans were terrible probably right of the can and tasteless. The dinner was soft and very good. The ambiance is of roadside dinner very simple and very plain. Noise level was very nice not loud. Adequate parking, however no credit cards or debit cards are accepted. Food was decent, but I'd expect a bit more of a home style cooking from a diner setting. You'd get that more so from a place like Denny's vs here. Stop if you must, but be aware you're definitely not getting what you paid for. Keep driving by. Great value. Little greasy-spoon with $0.10 coffee and great prices. I ordered haddock sandwich and a side of fries (fries do not come with sandwiches or burgers). It was a full piece of breaded haddock on a large seeded roll. The fish was flakey and the breading crispy. The fries were crispy and hot. My husband ordered two grilled cheese sandwiches and fries. He also enjoyed his meal. He finished it off with a large slice of peanut butter cream pie. I had a couple bites and it was delicious. All the food plus 2 soft drinks (one refill allowed) came to less than $23. read more

Straight up classic diner. Very friendly and attentive staff. 10 cent coffee and tasty chip beef, eggs and hash browns. Husband had western omelette which was hearty and also tasty. If you are looking for good food and pleasant staff this is the place. Now lets talk about the pie. Having a slice of pie was not on the agenda but when we saw the supply being replenished with homemade pie we called the baker over. Her selection of the day was strawberry rhubarb, red raspberry, apple, blackberry and pumpkin. We ordered a slice of strawberry rhubarb which she warmed a tad. My first bite is crust only to determine if the pie is worth eating. My my my ... the crust was delicate, flakey and light. The filling was well cooked (I hate under cooked rhubarb) with lots of fruit and just enough sauce to hold everything together. Mo sauce seeping across the plate. What an amazing pie. IMO the crust is key and we will be placing orders whenever we want a kickass pie. Stop if for no other reason to have pie! read more

They need to keep menu's at the tables! If they're busy, you wait forever for a menu. Wasted time. The food is pretty good and cheap. It's hit and miss with the waitresses. Some are wonderful and some and NOT so wonderful. read more

I love flos I grew up going to flos but I HATE all those flys in the summer time it's disgusting.

I have driven past the home of the 10¢ coffee for many years. I have no idea why I never stopped in but decided to give it a whirl this weekend. I am happy to report that the 10¢ coffee does not taste like its only ten cents and the food was pretty tasty too. It really wasn't that busy when my children and I went so our service was pretty spot on. What I didn't understand was why some of the food was cold and the other was really warm. Overall the taste was what you would expect and there was plenty of seating. I'm not sure if they could handle a large crew though. Our party of 4 fit nicely. Somehow my children talked me in to a piece of their chocolate cream pie as a dessert for breakfast and it did not disappoint. It was chilled, chocolatey and barely lasted a full minute from the children who devoured it! They strongly recommend getting a piece for whatever meal you choose to go there! read more

There were 3 of us for dinner, two of us ordered hamburgers and one had the sirloin steak. We wanted the hamburgers medium and they were cooked to death, way past well done. The sirloin was requested medium rare and there was not a trace of pink on the steak. Was cooked into leather. Requested lemon for the iced tea and got a bottle of lemon juice dropped off at the table which I thought was weird. Looking at other tables the fried foods looked good, we just don't eat fried food, but you should be able to cook at least 1 out of 3 items correctly. read more

Great place to go for comfort food. For breakfast I get the western omelet, sub ham with shaved steak, then have sausage gravy on top. For lunch or dinner I always get the chicken fried steak. They always have great service. The ladies are very nice. They share tips, so make sure to tip your servers! They deserve it. read more
