We were in the mood for their BEC on a roll. It was already about 11 am and we weren't certain they could do it. Not a problem for the grill crew. While we waited we looked in the steam table case. There were some food magazine quality baked salmon steaks. We didn't expect to see that in a gas station kitchen! That's what makes Flory's in Fishkill special. It's not a one trick pony. The place is always clean, the condiment bins are filled to the brim, plenty of coffees, and teas. Grab 'n Go sandwiches that won't have doing the Colorado Quick Step later. :D read more

At first when you see it on the outside you think it's a gimmicky stylistic gas station private owned, but barebones the same as any gas station, but in this case nope. Really have to enjoy the fact they have cold cuts, hot bar food, and other goodies on top of the usual you find at gas station. I will say it's bit pricey, mostly in the desserts section that was pretty bad. Got a honey bomb sandwich and let tell you, plenty of meat and veggies, definitely not air filled sandwiches, plus love sesame crusty bread, it's soft, but not without a bite. Pasta salad was great, glad it was well dressed in dressing and not other places where it's a like a drop of Italian dressing and some oil to make it passable. Gas prices were about the same as elsewhere so more so a food spot for me at least in an all in one stop. read more

What a fun gas station. Real retro vibes! The inside is huge and has a lot of fun sections. There is a deli with lots of sandwich options & a full menu. A beer cave which includes a walk in beer fridge with tons to choose from. Speaking of tons to choose from- they have a great selection of slushees and milkshakes -- (DIY) I also love when a deli has pre-made sandwiches/ grab and go options and they had many- even at midnight which is when I stopped here. They are 24/7 which is awesome because this is the exact kind of spot you want to be opened when you get a late night craving. Our cashier was smiling and friendly. Love the neon lights and decor- the place itself was super clean too. I didn't try a sandwich or any of the food so I'm not sure how they are but I'm sure they are great- they use boars head products which always make a tasty sandwich! read more

Loved this place. Coolest looking gas station place to begin with... inside is just as awesome. They've got real food to go, some hot, some cold (like sandwiches). Tons of cold drinks (I got a grape flavored slurpee that was yummy)... and snacks of various kinds. Another review of a place to where I was unable to check in because I do not have a signal. And all the Wi-Fi's in the area were secured. Well, on my drive into the city, (New York City) that is, I needed some breakfast. Though, as I was driving down the Taconic Parkway (the first restaurant I stop at was closed, apparently being open only for lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, on the parkway there was no sign saying that). So I continue to drive on until I saw another fork and plate sign, so I pulled in to Flory's Mobil. At first when I saw the Delicatessen, I thought it was strictly for sandwiches at lunch or dinner. However they had a very nice selection of breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Also, they had a pretty good crowd. Since I've been kind of pigging out these past few days, I decided to have a Healthy Choice burrito (egg whites, turkey, avocado (unfortunately, they were out) and spinach. Everything is made to order, so it does take a little time. But the staff is courteous, and the burrito tasted really good. Another reason for the 4-star rating, I picked up some 1% milk which is what I am used to drinking, but upon tasting it it tasted like vanilla flavored water supposedly the milk was Ultra filtered whatever that is. read more

One of the coolest gas stations/delis I have ever seen. It's a blast from the past with vintage decor and layout and very exciting to visit on any trips you may take. It's open 24 hours and has a fully operating deli as well as a huge selection of snacks and essentials. The staff is always so kind and welcoming and the whole facility is very clean. Outside of the front doors are also cocktail tables with free charging stations in case you get yourself caught in a pinch. I love that even gas stations can be cool and funky and exciting to visit. read more

Great stop off 84 in Fishkill, NY, if you're looking for a place where there's something for everyone. A usual variety of snacks and drinks, but what sets this place apart is a the fresh deli sandwiches, Mexican food option, and signature soft serve. Clean bathrooms and nice outdoor seating- complete with a mini waterfall! Some grassy areas and a long sidewalk, if your traveling with a dog (we were) who needs a walk. They have 4 locations. Flory's is a great place. It's so fortunate that it is close (within walking distance) of our hotel. They have everything. It's a gas station, and a deli, and a convenience store, and a coffee shop. It's the whole shebang, as they say. If you're familiar with the Sheetz or Kum And Go franchiseses, you'll feel at home at Flory's. They're following the CDC guidelines and everything is clean and tidy. Staff are masked and efficient, and even in the busiest times there's no waiting for service. With so many places not opening until later in the morning, it's great to have a place like Flory's around. read more

How do you not give this place a 5 STARS. I was here on work travel and came in here and let me tell you what more do you from a gas station. I bet you can't name a gas station with better food, let alone this much variety of hot food. Is it the best food ......no but it is not bad and its well priced and convenient and has great options. (I know a lot of ANDS). Im comparing the food to all other gas stations that serve food that I have tried and they are by far #1. The plantains are amazing here and they have to go chicken strips in a cup that you can grab and pay real quick. This place is amazing and a go to. 5 dollars can go a LONG ways in there. The service is ok but I'm still blown away by this. Until someone proves me wrong I'm unofficially naming this the champion of all gas stations. read more

I've relocated from the Bronx and it's hard finding spots that make a great sandwich. They listen to every detail and include all the ingredients without cutting back. Since my last review in 2018 I had to come back to up the ante as this place is really top notch. I have frequented this location for many things - particularly breakfast and lunch sandwiches and they are fast, fresh and made with quality ingredients. I often call ahead and place my order over the phone and they always get it right. I am always amazed at the food items they have and they change weekly - cold salads, fruit salads, macaroni and potato salads, yogurt parfaits, all different kinds of ready to go sandwiches on wraps, bread, rolls, etc. And I just noticed recently they have ready made breakfast sandwiches right near the order counter which is great. Such an amazing selection of drinks, snacks, convenience items, etc. And if you go on line and look up their menu - you'd be amazed at how much they offer as far as breakfast and lunch is concerned. Needless to say when I know I am coming here I bring a large tote bag as I know I'm going to fill it up with goodies to make me smile! read more

Used to go here a lot after work. Almost always got the wrong food at drive through. When you go inside to order everyone is just standing around so you end up walking away. Stopped here the other night first time in a long time picked up about 5 items. Asked for a bag and was told its a dollar. Never heard of that one. Oh well. read more

At this point it has to be a joke. The amount of times this place has messed up my very straight forward and simple sandwich orders is amazing. I have a running joke with my coworker about how I should keep a journal for all the times they messed up. Not sure if it is a language barrier issue or if the people making the sandwiches take it upon themselves to make them however they please but it really is astonishing. When a customer asks for mayo or lettuce and tomato on a sandwich it should be there every time. People come here on their lunch breaks because the drive thru is convenient and dont have time to drive all the way back with the wrong order and dispute it. Personally i have had over a dozen orders from this deli be inaccurate weather it be a condiment or topping to a sandwich. I am very disappointed as a customer and management here should be very upset and intervene. I had written a review two years ago and still to this day this continues to happen. Maybe the only way to get them to understand how disappointing it is to get to your location and have a dry sandwich or something missing you paid extra for is to continue to write reviews like this that hurt the establishment. read more
