Honey The Sweet Bomb Sandwich pasta salad
Darren G.

At first when you see it on the outside you think it's a gimmicky stylistic gas station private owned, but barebones the same as any gas station, but in this case nope. Really have to enjoy the fact they have cold cuts, hot bar food, and other goodies on top of the usual you find at gas station. I will say it's bit pricey, mostly in the desserts section that was pretty bad. Got a honey bomb sandwich and let tell you, plenty of meat and veggies, definitely not air filled sandwiches, plus love sesame crusty bread, it's soft, but not without a bite. Pasta salad was great, glad it was well dressed in dressing and not other places where it's a like a drop of Italian dressing and some oil to make it passable. Gas prices were about the same as elsewhere so more so a food spot for me at least in an all in one stop.

The best place to stop for snacks or a quick deli sandwich depending on the time of day. All the workers are so friendly even if it's 2am middle of the night. The best place to find unique late night snacks!

Slushees and milkshakes

What a fun gas station. Real retro vibes! The inside is huge and has a lot of fun sections. There is a deli with lots of sandwich options & a full menu. A beer cave which includes a walk in beer fridge with tons to choose from. Speaking of tons to choose from- they have a great selection of slushees and milkshakes -- (DIY) I also love when a deli has pre-made sandwiches/ grab and go options and they had many- even at midnight which is when I stopped here. They are 24/7 which is awesome because this is the exact kind of spot you want to be opened when you get a late night craving. Our cashier was smiling and friendly. Love the neon lights and decor- the place itself was super clean too. I didn't try a sandwich or any of the food so I'm not sure how they are but I'm sure they are great- they use boars head products which always make a tasty sandwich!

Another review of a place to where I was unable to check in because I do not have a signal. And all the Wi-Fi's in the area were secured. Well, on my drive into the city, (New York City) that is, I needed some breakfast. Though, as I was driving down the Taconic Parkway (the first restaurant I stop at was closed, apparently being open only for lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, on the parkway there was no sign saying that). So I continue to drive on until I saw another fork and plate sign, so I pulled in to Flory's Mobil. At first when I saw the Delicatessen, I thought it was strictly for sandwiches at lunch or dinner. However they had a very nice selection of breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Also, they had a pretty good crowd. Since I've been kind of pigging out these past few days, I decided to have a Healthy Choice burrito (egg whites, turkey, avocado (unfortunately, they were out) and spinach. Everything is made to order, so it does take a little time. But the staff is courteous, and the burrito tasted really good. Another reason for the 4-star rating, I picked up some 1% milk which is what I am used to drinking, but upon tasting it it tasted like vanilla flavored water supposedly the milk was Ultra filtered whatever that is.

One of the coolest gas stations/delis I have ever seen. It's a blast from the past with vintage decor and layout and very exciting to visit on any trips you may take. It's open 24 hours and has a fully operating deli as well as a huge selection of snacks and essentials. The staff is always so kind and welcoming and the whole facility is very clean. Outside of the front doors are also cocktail tables with free charging stations in case you get yourself caught in a pinch. I love that even gas stations can be cool and funky and exciting to visit.

Locations

Great stop off 84 in Fishkill, NY, if you're looking for a place where there's something for everyone. A usual variety of snacks and drinks, but what sets this place apart is a the fresh deli sandwiches, Mexican food option, and signature soft serve. Clean bathrooms and nice outdoor seating- complete with a mini waterfall! Some grassy areas and a long sidewalk, if your traveling with a dog (we were) who needs a walk. They have 4 locations. Definitely will search out on another trip when in the area!

Extremely high prices on everything they sell to anyone of their competitors. It's not the place to get gas or anything for that matter.

Eh, the customer service in here was beyond terrible. Anyways while I was In there I decided to grab some fruit in a cup for the long trip back home , USUALLY spoons are next to the fruits. I couldn't find any utensils so while paying I asked and the woman at the register pointed ( okay ) I go over there , what the hell did she point too? So I look and look and tell her again I don't see them, instead of her showing me she raises her voice and goes over there on the wall , still wouldn't just show me. I've never seen someone so rude besides the fact when you get to the registers the cashiers don't stop their side talk. Glad I don't live in this state won't deal with this lady again.

There are homages to NY all over the place, the 'beer cave' is even decked out with a polar bear/ ice cave display. The whole places looks like something you'd see in a movie. A real fun place to stop whenever I drive up that way. Also, there's a mini waterfall set up outside which is another little addition you just can't hate.

For the longest time, I've been wanting to have a notable experience here, and on my trip inside…read morelater-night on Christmas Day, I had my chance and now I'm writing it. It all started as I came from dropping an Uber rider off in Rock Tavern and felt I needed to stop off here for a treat from a good night and needed something to drink as well. I came inside and found the place spotless. The shelves were well stocked and the floors were clean - it's almost as if it's well-taken-care-of. I found what I wanted (Kit Kat Big Kat bar) plus the F'real shake, however, not until later did I learn that the candy bar was a tweaked bit different than I'm used to, but I managed. After putting on a lid (not the correct lid with the F'real insignia) and using the wrong straw, I headed to the register just behind me. I was the only person at 10:50 pm, and despite not noticing the employee waiting for someone to ring up, I patiently waited until out of the corner of my eye they headed over. I paid in cash - something I don't generally do often - and even used my SpeedyRewards card that night, but after the employee noticed my mistakes - wrong lid and straw - she even gave me advice on using the colored straws here for the shake and I thank her for her honesty. I sometimes get F'reals so I should have known, but I wasn't in the best mindset and both lids (sitting near each other) looked identical and I couldn't find the colored straws until she handed me the colored straw. I commend her for her efforts - thank you. (I just wish I would have gotten the receipt, but I got the correct change, and it's logged in my SpeedyRewards account, so no damage there.) Now I just wish there'd be more action here. When I come here (which I don't do very often since I know of other stations along my route), I can sometimes be spotted getting gas, but even then, up until the end and I was about ready to leave, the gas pumps were solidly empty. (This is out of the ordinary, as on other times about half the pumps are full of others pumping gas.) Just as I was about ready to pull away from the spot near the door, another car pulled up beside me. But be careful. This station has two entrances (one directly from Route 9, and another ENTRANCE from the side road: Snook Rd), but the Route 9 location has an exit as well. I generally take Snook Rd in, but that's up to your travel path with your choice. Uber has told me in the past to take Snook Rd for quickness, but I generally knew their entrance from Route 9 well before Uber was in the area, and coming from I-84's exit onto Route 9, felt it quicker to just cross over onto Snook to get here. No trouble connecting here. Signage is almost non-existant as to gas prices at the pump : something I've come to feel I need before making an informed decision whether or not to come here. Good deals come with bennies at GasBuddy, but I guess I'll have to hold off any further. Christmas Day 2019 will never be forgotten here. Thank you for being there.

In the few years I'm up here in the Fishkill area, I've tried several deli's within a 20 mile…read moreradius. This is definitely one of the best ones. It's more than just a sandwich shop; they are closer to being a general store. They have household and automotive items, lotto, and grocery items on the shelves. In the deli section there are prepackaged cold salads, pickles, and some antipasto selections. But, it's the sandwiches that bring me in. Deli's were never inexpensive; whoever thinks they were; remembers a time, long ago. But they also forgot that their weekly pay check was less than $50. and they thought they were doing well. The cold cuts in the sandwiches and hero's are overstuffed with fresh cold cuts and whatever else you want on it. There are also hot sandwiches, Breakfast items, and daily specials. The prices are reasonable; even inexpensive compared with what you receive. The place is busy not just at the breakfast & lunch hours. Which means the food turns over fast and isn't sitting for who knows how long. The only "complaint" is, they could use some more parking spaces. Because they are so busy. It says something about the quality and service that people will travel to a spot not in a mall and a little off the beaten path!

The sandwiches are delicious and the owners are very funny and sweet. Love their snack options tooread more
