When I got there they didn't even start my sandwich or anyone else's order that was there for that matter... once again the workers were literally just sitting around reading the newspaper or on their phone, two of them were just casually talking to eachother with a line of people there. The sandwiches themselves were horrible. Old bread, barely any meat and the cheese was scarce. I'm not sure how a deli can screw up a breakfast sandwich in New York State but they managed to. If your sandwiches are going to suck at least lower your price to make up for lack there of.... Horrible.

For over 70 decades I've enjoyed the tasty sausage - until this year, 2024. It was so apparent when I fried the sausage something had changed. In the past there was a light layer of grease from the sausage fat. This year there was no grease, only water. The pan filled with 1/3" of water that had to be drained to properly fry the sausage. The taste was even worse! Gone were the spices that, in the past, contributed to the delicious taste. The sausage is now very bland and tasteless. My husband even commented the sausage tasted like cardboard with no flavor at all. The cooked sausage and another package in the refrigerator went in the trash. Sad to say but after over 7 decades, good bye Marona's. There will be no more annual treks to buy what used to be the best breakfast sausage you could find. So sad.
