They got here ahead of time. And their technician walked me through the worst and best case scenarios. When the technician, Chuck, found the problem, he immediately informed me that it was not a big issue and then fixed the unit rapidly. Chuck was smart, well-spoken, friendly and professional. This company is, in my experience, is among the most honest and affordable in town. A while back we had some rats get into our ductwork. We didn't inspect the ductwork ourself, afraid to crawl in the crawl space, but sort of assumed we needed to replace it. Other companies came out and inspected it and assured us the rats had damaged it beyond repair and that the whole system needed to be replaced, and gave us very high estimates. At long last, we had Tyler, the chief technician at Flores come and take a look. He said that our ductwork was in great shape and the rats had done minimal damage, so minimal, that repairs were not even needed. He had no financial incentive to tell me that truth and I am incredibly grateful. Should we need HVAC work in the future, we will only be dealing with Flores. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the less than positive reviews on this company were coming from their unscrupulous competitors, some who wanted my to pay $10,000 for a brand new ducting system that we apparently do not need. read more

We had them do an HVAC servicing through our home warranty program. Our unit was pretty busted, but while other companies in the past just did bare minimum fixes (i.e. quick AC fix that broke 3 years in a row), Tyler advocated for us with the home warranty co. If we called in, the office told us where we were in the process, whether we needed to approve things / get things unstuck, etc. Unit came in Friday and they scheduled us for Monday first thing. They did a great job with installation (outside ground setup, but slightly funky / nontraditional) - took half a day. New unit works great and team cleaned everything up afterwards. We arranged through our home warranty company to have floors, HVAC service or AC.. They called me several times to reschedule due to scheduling conflicts and we were happy to oblige. On the date and time they rescheduled for they blew us off, not notifying us that they were running 5 to 6 hours behind schedule. The technician Tyler was rude as can be if he was my employee. I would've fired him on the spot. I spoke with someone in the office by the name of Rosalie, who quite frankly did not care about my concerns. If you need your HVAC serviced, I would find someone else who arrived when they are scheduled or at least notify you timely so that you can adjust your day accordingly. We literally sat around for two separate days for them to show up or not show up. The service technician told us that since we were a warranty, customer, their non-warranty customers took priority. Can't speak to their workmanship as they never actually started the job. Got a estimate, a start date, got strung along for two weeks then never contacted again. It worked out though- I got it done for nearly half their quoted price. Just really unprofessional. read more

Not professional and have yet to receive refund for $2500 deposit for unnecessary work diagnosed May 16th. They came out and misdiagnosed my repair, asked for $2500 deposit for (unnecessary) parts in addition to payment made for diagnostic service, I paid both. They took my money and strung me along for weeks during the hottest weeks of the summer saying parts were back ordered and they would schedule repair as soon as parts arrived. Finally, July 9th another employee came to re-diagnose my unit. He fixed a circuit short within 15 minutes of checking my unit. I have been asking for my refund for over a month. They have kept my money since May 23rd. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this amicably, I have yet to resolve this with this company. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, California Contractors State License Board to report company conduct, report this to the local District Attorney for further investigation and pursue legal action in small claims court. This is unfortunate and a waste of everyone's time. read more

I had them come and take a look at my roof & bedroom addition. They were able to recommend a great company to completely remove and replace my roof and now I have no leaks. I am 100% satisfied. They are in process of my bedroom addition and I am completely happy with their professionalism, great employees and the job in process, so far. They are on-time to be completed as scheduled. read more

This company seemed professional at first. We were getting our HVAC unit replaced using our home warranty. They called us when the unit arrived to schedule the installation. They called the next day to cancel the installation because the unit wasn't going to pass the permit inspection. Then they installed the unit on the originally planned day without letting us know so no one was home. When our tenant tried to use the new unit that night it didn't work. We called the next day and they sent the installer back out. He said the problem was the thermostat. We replaced the thermostat and that wasn't it. He came back again and said it was something else and he'd get the part and return Monday. (It's February and in the 30's at night) So no heat all weekend. Then Monday Flores calls and says he's sick, he'll be there Wednesday. Wednesday nothing. We call them in the afternoon and were told that he won't be in for a while. So we ask if someone else can come and fix it because it is literally freezing at night and there's no heat in the house. Rosalia asks if we expect her to pull someone off of another job and we felt that since a non-functioning unit was installed then that wasn't too much to ask. It had already been a week without a working unit. She said she'd call back, never did. Friday we call again, she then says she doesn't have anyone qualified to fix the unit so we ask if we can hire another company. She says that she has the part, but she won't let anyone else install it. It was almost 2 weeks with no heat before our original installer came back and fixed the unit. I have called 4 times in the month since then and spoken to Rosalia about getting an invoice for the money we paid them. She is rude and unprofessional, every time saying she'll email it to me, but she never does. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do not use this company. read more
