If I could give them no stars I would. This company and the owner are the most dishonest company with regards to service companies that I have ever dealt with. They have a contract with PG&E to replace furnaces for low income properties. We had them out to our house on 3 separate occasions. Each and every time the owner stated work needed to be done for them to be able to install the heater. Even though the heater had been in the house for over 30 years. Every time the work he required was done and then he would change his mind. I could see it was just a racket to charge PG&E and the grants the state gives them, for time he spent at our house lying. I check with the city and state inspectors and found out they do not require what he was telling us. Even a PG&E inspector that came to our house for another project stated that the guy was full of crap. We of course reported him and tried to speak to supervisors, but to no avail. PG&E has such a mess in their system that you might as well talk to the wall. So after spending almost $1500 of money we don't have, we still had no heater. Nice to be without heat for 2 months. This will now go to court. I ask that you reconsider using this company. read more

Our AC and Heating unit died on us, and after looking around at multiple companies in town we took a shot with Feather River Aire. The staff in the office were very friendly, and the gal Christina helped my wife and I churn out numbers on getting our unit fixed. We recieved a very reasonable price and the new replacement unit was ready to be installed in just 4 days after getting the work order. (Which was EXTREMELY convenient given our current 100 degree weather forecasts. When it came the day to install our new equipment, we met with 3 guy (Jason, Lavaugn, and Alex). They respectful knocked and informed who they were and what areas they would be working around for the day. They were very informative, very careful when working inside and outside of the house, completely cleaned up their whole work area (no stragglers left behind) and were 110% professional! I would highly recommend this business and these three guys (Jason, Lavaugn, and Alex specifically) if you need work done on your AC or heating units. GREAT JOB! read more

My very 1st air conditioner situation!! Who do you pick and how?? 3 places came up for area and I read a couple of reviews and decided to call Feather River Aire 1. Pleasant on the phone and got a appointment right away. 2. Tech shows up on time and ready to go I explained what was going on and within a couple of minutes he knew what problem was, replaced part walking me through the process of the mechanics of the unit as I said this was my first time dealing and was nervous about getting ripped off being a woman by myself. Finished up the work explaining all the way through. He was so nice and professional I was so happy with the service and when it came time to pay for the service even happier totally reasonable. Feather River Heating and Aire is a suburb company to do business with I have not ever been treated any better by a professional service. They put in a heating system and air system for me the other day and what an excellent job they did. They were in my house for 13 hours yet they were not the least bit intrusive. Both the installers were gentlemen beyond reproach. They were excellent in paying attention to detail. They even informed me I have a carpenter ant problem so I was able to then bring on an exterminator to handle the problem. I give my highest recommendation to anyone getting new heat and air systems installed. If you want it polite and done right call this company you will have no regrets. We just had Feather River Aire repair our A/C unit. A disreputable company just condemed the whole unit and wanted way over 3K for a whole new unit. Jason from Feather River diagnosed a bad compressor and sent Rob (service tech) to change the compressor. Rob was amazing. He was very professional, neat, respectful, and quick. when he was done you couldn't tell he made the repair except for the new compressor in place of the old one. our A/C works better than ever. when Rob was done the main office called to make sure everything was alright. THIS NEVER HAPPEN THESE DAYS!! This old school value is very honorable. We highly recommend Feather River for any and all HVAC work. Wow! Timely, Reliable, & Honest.(My favorite qualities about this company) Great service and professionalism from staff and techs from start to finish. My roof top split unit was about 30yrs old and the heater was going out constantly, its 40° at night currently so I needed help fast. Feather River Aire came out and replaced my old unit with an energy-efficient unit and I have no complaints at all. I wish I can give a 100 star review for Feather River Aire. Our family would like to give a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Jason Nyberg and the crew at Feather River Heating & Air for putting in a beautiful new HVAC system in our house today! Thee best team! In the middle of excessive heat my entire unit needed to be replaced !! Jason Hurley, Lead Installer diagnosed my problem on a weekend, escalated getting me scheduled for replacement and along with his teammate Levaughn Thompson, worked through Father's Day weekend to get my new unit installed- AFTER working all day in the extreme heat .... and let me also add how amazing my new unit works!! Triple digit heat is pretty common for us in the summer, so when our unit went out in the middle of a week long stretch it was unbearable! We called Feather River Aire and they were able to put us on their schedule for the following day. After a thorough assessment the tech was able to figure the problem out and was very upfront with the estimate and options. Our home AC went out mid afternoon a few weeks ago. We thought maybe it was a filter issue. So we changed out the filter. When that failed, I contacted Jason (the owner) at 11pm. He promptly contacted his technician, and we had someone at our door (along with Jason) by 6:45 the next morning, and a working AC unit by 8:30am! I would highly recommend this company. We live in Biggs, so I wasn't sure to call when our air conditioner stopped working. Their technician was on-time, thorough, pleasant, and went the extra mile to clean the unit. He had the problem fixed in less than 30 minutes. I use this company because I know the family that owns it. Jason is kind and trustworthy. He and his coworker came out on a rainy day to fix a problem I had with an older vent on my roof from the heating/cooling unit. They are amazing! I also use them for maintenance 2x a year-use a coupon so its more economical, they always offer one in the Values magazine. Our AC stopped working late in the afternoon Thursday, we contacted the owner way after hours who understood how bad the heat has been and he was willing to help get us back up before the weekend. He said he would text one of his technicians and try and get us on the books first thing. My AC was fixed and cooling my house by 9am Friday morning. I made an appointment to have our ducts and vents cleaned. Brenden showed up on time and worked effectively and efficiently to get the job done. He did such a good job I even had him clean the dryer vent as well. He got everything cleaned out, made a few suggestions for future maintenance, and kept everything in the home clean while he worked. Once he had left, there was hardly a trace that he had been here. Since we have a maintenance agreement with Feather River Aire, we were put on the schedule pretty fast.
