We didn't inspect the ductwork ourself, afraid to crawl in the crawl space, but sort of assumed we needed to replace it. Other companies came out and inspected it and assured us the rats had damaged it beyond repair and that the whole system needed to be replaced, and gave us very high estimates. At long last, we had Tyler, the chief technician at Flores come and take a look. He said that our ductwork was in great shape and the rats had done minimal damage, so minimal, that repairs were not even needed. He had no financial incentive to tell me that truth and I am incredibly grateful. Should we need HVAC work in the future, we will only be dealing with Flores. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the less than positive reviews on this company were coming from their unscrupulous competitors, some who wanted my to pay $10,000 for a brand new ducting system that we apparently do not need.

I am no good when it comes to electrical and felt my over-the-phone diagnoses were going nowhere with the other companies I had called for bids. Swearingen was the only of the companies to not only come out to give the estimate in-person, but also provide me with a timely quote. The quote I was given was in my budget so I went forth and scheduled the service. I based my decision heavily off of this company's online reviews as multiple had mentioned hot tub wiring, which was what I was in need of. Devon's assistant came out bright and early on the scheduled date and installed the line in the course of a few hours. I was impressed at the precision and feel that the quality was on par with what I was hoping for. Good electrician overall. I deducted one star as the final cost was 20% over what I was quoted - and it was due same day. Not the end of the world, but I did have to move money from my other accounts to accommodate the request (house-poor new homeowner here). Ultimately, all worked out. Just to get back at us, they are using the backyard directly in front of our home as a scrapyard/junkyard. It's loud from 7am until 7pm, just as he intended. All that was needed to fix my problem was to tighten the nut that compresses the packing material that is in the valve. If he had just done that and was honest, I wouldn't be writing this review,.
