After him quoting me an estimate of $3000.00 I paid him $1,500.00 cash upfront to begin the work and supplied all the parts. After a month past he finally started work on the car and claimed that the work would be another $2000.00 above the estimate. I agreed and later ask to see what work had been completed BEFORE paying the additional $2000. Jessie agreed. The next day he called and said the repairs were not completed, he was not going to complete the work and that I needed to come and pick my car and that he was keeping the $1500.00. When I went to pick my car up he was not at the shop but left my car with the key in it and never showed to explain what work he had done. I did find another shop to complete the work, and that shop said the work he did do was about two hours labor. I filed suit in small claims court in Boone County Circuit Court. The case is to be heard May 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM. It's a public document so feel free to look it . More to follow after the hearing.
