After an hour, I went into their repair bay to see what the delay was. They had my whole front end torn apart. They claimed that the entire wiring for my headlight had to be replaced, they needed to order parts and it would cost $174.00. I took the car to Ernie's, they put it a new headlight for $12 and it still works today. Ernie's is in the auto repair business for the long haul and that means treating you like family each and every time you are there. Needless to say I will never go back to the dealer and they have lost my purchase business as well.

Had them replace my sway bar a couple years ago, and had no problems with it since. Price was fair, comparable to what other mechanics were charging (someone else I knew had the same issue about a month prior so I had a good comparison). They also provided transportation home, and to pick up my car when it was finished. My one complaint is that they did miss a small oil leak on inspection, but my car had so many larger leaks and issues at the time that may have eclipsed the issue.

The first time was a standard oil change, the second time was getting a full set of new tires with an alignment and balancing and they repaired a broken tire pressure sensor. The alignment was done properly for the first time, probably ever in my 11 year old car, according to the tech. It was so rusted stuck that had to use a torch to heat everything up so it would release. And I just took it to a Toyota dealership less than 1 year ago for an alignment. When I told the staff this they said it looked like it had never been touched. So it seems to me that everyone else (Toyota and firestone) besides Overbeck wanted to stay on schedule, not getting behind, and just did the bare minimum. And let me tell you what- my car drives like it's new again. The third time was 2 days after my tire pressure sensor was replaced- I took it back in to have it looked at becuase the low tire pressure light came back on. They told me the one they replaced was only intermittently working and was therefore defective. So they replaced it for free and sent me on my way. The best part about this? They have a line that they text confirm your appointment, send quotes to, etc. I send a text to this number around 10pm on a Wednesday to try to secure an appointment early the next day. To my surprise, someone wrote back and told me to bring it right in in the morning, no appointment necessary. When I got there, they said "we're dropping everything to get you on your way", And even offered me a loaner car for the day, knowing I had to get to work. I declined because I had the capability to work in their cozy lobby on their wifi network. I feel like I'm truly treated like family here, they even greeted me by name today (which I find impressive since I've only been here three times). I'm so so satisfied. I just happened to come across this place because I got a coupon in the mail for an oil change. I'm so glad I decided to bring my car here. They want to make sure they're doing the best work possible and making sure they have happy clients.

If I took it to the dealership to have them perform the Diagnostics Scan Codes it would have cost $140.00 and it would have been there all day, but I would have gotten a rental car. When I asked Jeff how long it would take him he said an hour or less and I asked why the difference between him and the dealership and he explained it to me and also said that the scan itself would only take an hour at the dealership as well. They were quite far for me to drive to, but I went to them after reading the reviews and browsing their website. I brought my 1981 Mercury Cougar XR7 for some cosmetics. I was nervous a bit to be honest cause I know some mechanics can be "rough" on treatment (like leave a scratch or dirty the interior, etc. When I arrived, comfort wasn't immediate, but as soon as I discussed with them as to what I needed done to the vehicle, I knew it was going to be in good hands. When I picked up my vehicle, I was a very happy customer. Am coming back to have them do some more stuff. Thank you!
