    Cappuccino

Such a great addition to Pompano!! We had the perfect breakfast of scrambled eggs with bacon and avocado, toasted Italian bread with a cappuccino. Delicious. Left with almond croissants, a custard and a chocolate truffle. Service was excellent, interior was lovely and lots of parking. I will definitely be a regular diner there.

If you're still waiting for a reason to head to Pompano, Flore Bakery just gave you one. The vibe here is spot on: clean, airy, and coastal without being overdone. Think Brazilian café culture meets South Florida chill. The kind of place you want to linger, whether it's for your morning caffeine fix or an after work glass of wine. And let's talk about the coffee. Sorry Starbucks, but Flore has you beat. Rich, smooth, and clearly brewed with love. It's the kind of cup that makes you pause mid sip. Pair it with one of their Brazilian pastries (hello, pão de queijo and brigadeiro inspired treats) and you're instantly transported straight to Brazil. What I didn't expect? A happy hour lineup with beer and wine. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing Brazilian café culture. You feel it in every interaction, whether they're explaining pastry traditions or suggesting the perfect coffee to match your order.

This is a new bakery that just opened in Lighthouse Point. It is Brazilian but it has a vast menu with all kinds of different options! Last Saturday I came here and had the best sausage ragout I've ever had in my whole entire life! Today I came back and had a Brazilian sandwich, which is in a "french roll" with a fried egg and catupiry cheese (Brazilian style cream cheese) and a cappuccino with oat milk. For dessert I had a brigadeiro, the traditional chocolate fudge ball but they use a Belgium chocolate!! It's literally the best brigadeiro I've had in my life!!! The atmosphere is amazing and the location is perfect, they used to have a Burger-Fi here but thank God they closed lol. Floré is sooooo much better! The staff is super friendly and attentive. I am definitely going to be a regular here now, especially since they are across the street from my house! Highly recommend it here if you're in the area and looking for a good place for a coffee and a great meal!

    Croque Monsieur

Great new addition to lighthouse point. The cappuccino is amazing. The croque monsieur was delicious, make sure you like cheese!

From the moment you approach this bakery, you can smell cookies or something heavenly baking outside. It's pure comfort all the way inside this cozy little shop. Everything here is made on-site. There are many sweet and savory items: cake, cookies (far superior to Crumbl), keto and vegan options, empanadas (delicious, have them heated up), pastries, etc. But what I love most here---the pies! I had called the day before to order an apple pie, and they were able to make it in time for my event. I've also ordered a Key lime pie in the past which was a huge hit. It's just so nice to find a place that makes pies and does them well! They also make mini pies, so you can try their different flavor flavors and see what you like the most. The woman behind the counter was really friendly and patient, given it took me some time to choose from all their wonderful items. If you're looking for a bakery, that's worth driving to, MO&MA is your place!

They have breads, croissants, mozzarella rolls, baguettes, savory items and amazing looking pastries. This is a Brazilian bakery, and yes, I sought it out for this reason! Their pastel de nata is delicious, as is their Brazilian cheese balls. I picked up 2 different pre-packaged boxes from their boxes section- having no idea what they were- and both were unique and delicious- one looked light a plain white twisted cookie, but the flavor was lemony. Another was dark brown with a white sugary something dusted on top- and it had a unique flavor I could not identify, but tasted unique to me, not overly sweet. Every time I've visited, there has been an abundance of waitstaff on hand available to take and fill orders. They have been kind and patient, while also making coffees. There are tables and chairs at the front for eating and drinking on site.

I ordered a feta cheese tomato Quiche And had to send it back It was very disappointing And it was overwhelmed by feta cheese and salty ! Very little egg soufflé like it should be done And it was soggy and thin ! The deserts look beautiful and gross tasting .. I had ordered mini deserts to check them out and was very pleased w taste and appearance! I also bought a bread from the place a French baguette which was ok By the way I mentioned that to a server and see if they will exchange the quiche for a regular Loraine quiche .. the server said they will need to charge it again ! Which I said ok But in my opinion they should have refunded me the 14$ that I paid for a small 4.5 " round piece ! In generally I paid over 55$ dollars For a non satisfying experience I m not recommending This place And most importantly the owner is not standing behind his product. Having seen this place consistently busy, I figured that must be a good sign. We decided to hit it up for lunch, post-shopping. The December weather was pleasant, and the huge sliding door/window was open so all could enjoy Al fresco dining. As usual, this place was busy, but there were a few empty tables. It took quite some time for an employee to acknowledge we were waiting by the "please wait to be seated" sign. I brushed that off, but thought it odd when she took us to a table that needed cleaning versus a clean one that was right behind it. She acted surprised when I pointed to sitting at that one instead. Fortunately that was the only odd hiccup. We both ordered sandwiches. I enjoyed the grilled cheese and tomato soup. It wasn't too salty and was perfect for dunking into. There was a swirl of pesto on top of the soup. My daughter loved her prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. It came with a side of chips. The serving sizes were ample. Our server was not all that attentive and so paired with our odd start, I'm keeping my review at 4 stars. I would try La Boulangerie again though as the food was great.
