I could not recommend them more highly. We had a bit of a tricky install because we were adding on to existing wood floors. The crew did an awesome job and were able to integrate the new flooring without the need for transition strips. Their tile work was exceptional as well. On top of all that, they were courteous, hard working, trustworthy, and clearly took a lot of pride in their work. Review #1 From the start, Colby at Flooring Warehouse was responsive, helpful, communicative, and professional. He made the experience of replacing all the old, dated flooring in our 1970s townhouse seamless and painless. The end result is a mix of tile and hardwood and looks fantastic!

It was a pleasure to work with Danny on product selection, purchase and installation. I never felt rushed while I was looking at different flooring products. Danny explained the pros and cons of the various types of flooring. He allowed me to take home several colors so I could see what color worked best in my home. He responds to calls and texts, is very professional and kind. The man (sorry don't remember his name) who installed the product did a wonderful job. installing the new flooring and removed the carpet that was being replaced. There was no trace of any trash, dirt or prior carpet left at my home. He made sure that the floor was level before installing the product. I was able to go to work and felt comfortable not being home while the flooring was being installed. The installer contacted me when he was just about finished and waited for me to return so that he could go over the installation with me. Smooth process from the beginning to the end. I believe that the product I selected is of great value and should any problems arise that they will be handled in a professional manner. Thanks Danny! The floor looks great!

From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, professional, and incredibly well executed. Reinel and Oscar were fantastic to work with. They took the time to ensure every detail was done with precision, and the quality of their workmanship truly shows. The installation on the staircase in particular required careful attention and skill, and they handled it flawlessly. Their team was punctual, respectful of our home, and kept the workspace clean and organized throughout the project. The finished result completely transformed the space, the floors look stunning and the craftsmanship is outstanding. If you are considering new flooring, I cannot recommend Reinel, Oscar, and the team at Floor Coverings International highly enough. We are absolutely thrilled with the final result.

Prior to moving to H-Town, I've literally never thought about floor options of any kind. After…read morerealizing I was in need of hardwood floor maintenance and a carpet overhaul, it soon became clear that I had no experience in this arena, so it made sense to find a professional who did. Reinel was the person who came highly recommended by others and he did not disappoint. Texts and emails were always met with quick replies. It wasn't long before he came over to do a quick peak and was able to provide a realistic overview of what needed to be done. He was patient and was able to provide a nice array of carpet samples, while answering all the questions. He was able to arrange a carpet installation with memory foam for several rooms on additional levels while handling the dated hardwood floors on the lower level. It was a nearly 7k job after it was said and done and his team was in and out of the place within 48 hours. The end result is impressive. My guests appreciate the bounciness of the carpet and the repaired hardwood floors. Payment was done via a cash transfer and Reinel seemed to be flexible with the payment options. While it feels like a premium job for obvious reasons, I value quality service and execution, which is what I ultimately got by hiring Floor Coverings International.

Leslie came to my home for a consultation and truly helped bring my vision to life. Their modern showroom is beautiful and inspiring. The end results are fantastic. We would definitely recommend Modern Design and Remodeling.

We just had new LVT flooring put in by these guys and it was the best experience we have ever had…read more Steve Wisenbaker one of the co-owners did the measurements and talk me thru what would take place. He told us 3 to 4 days was the time line. Well on day one Joel the lead contractor walked with me as I showed him the areas that would be done. I also told him that the washer in the laundry room was the only thing I couldn't move and he told me no problem. Joel with his other 2 men moved the washer into the garage and then started tearing out the old laminate and title. After they finished that they floated the floors to take out any uneven spots. By the end of the day the had all the areas done for the laying of the floor tomorrow. The next day the started laying the floors and moved all the furniture, refrigerator, stove and dining room table to one side of the house until they finished it. Then moved all of it to the other side and finished that. The refrigerator was always plug in after they moved it. Next thing I know they are put the quarter round on the bases. Each day these guys cleaned up before they left and after all the quarter round was put in the hooked back up all the appliances and moved the washer back into the laundry room. I would and will highly recommend Carpet Connection and Joel and his men for any flooring needs! I would give this group an A+++

All awhile I'm running my hands through the carpet sample I wanted and literally repeating myself on why I like the sample. He wrote down in his notes the colors I like in this carpet sample which was gray with dark brown and tan speckles. He said if he cant get the carpet I liked he would do his best with getting something similar. On install day the carpet was wrong. A solid dual grey. I communicated and showed him the sample. He responds with yeah the name of the samples are under not above the sample. I have never in my life ordered carpet how am I suppose to know this?! They reordered the carpet. I asked after he left my home, will there be a fee and was told there will probably be a restocking fee to send back to the warehouse. Also told about the restock fee AFTER reordering the correct carpet. Eventually we settled for the incorrect carpet. Because we would be losing money with the restock fee not mention they refused to even tell us what the restock fee was. They did however offer 1,000.00 off on the incorrect carpet. Which I'm confused why they were willing to refund us that money verses paying the restock fee since the salesrep failed to do his job properly by telling me the names are under the carpet sample not above. So lesson learned Carpet connection a question costumers should ask is if the name of carpet sample is on top or on bottom of the carpet sample. A question a customer would never know to ask. This happened December 12, 2023 but I was told to take down my review by the owner of carpet connection.

I really wanted a clean modern look to replace my old red oak floors. I did quite a bit of reading…read moreonline about floor finishes and decided to go with Loba 2K Invisible Protect. I reached out to the regional Loba representative, Adam Morin, and with his assistance I was able to contract with Daniel Wood Floors. Based upon recommendations, I requested 3 coats of the Loba 2K Invisible Protect with no stain or sealant - for a more natural wood look. I was a bit worried about water and oil penetration and staining on 2 coat installations, which I had read about. My floors and Loba finish have been installed for about a year now and I have to say that the finish has been excellent. The feel of the floors is not fully flat and smooth (compared to the Bona finish, which was on my old red oak floors). You can feel some of the woodgrain - which I like/prefer. On the Loba website, it states "natural texture and feel are similar to untreated wood floors." It also feels more anti-slip. Most wood floor installers and refinishers in my area have experience with Bona - I found very few with Loba experience. Daniel Wood Floors was highly recommended by Loba. Daniel Wood Floors was great to work with and they did a wonderful job on the installation. Picture attached of the finished product (4" rift white oak floors over tar/screeds).

When you don't hire professionals, you end up paying for the same job twice and consequently doing the whole project twice. 90% of the contractors in Houston are dishonest, and only provide unskilled labor to do work that requires skillset. I found Daniel on NWFA.org he has proper training, certifications, and uses professional grade products, and state of the art equipment. Before I hired Daniel, I did a ton of research on products and staining process. He took on a difficult task of staining light gray color which was extremely challenging. I am very particular and asked a lot of questions. Daniel was prompt, courteous and professional, on job site every day, and most importantly very patient with me. He explained each step in details, and also what products are going to be used. He was also very careful around newly painted risers, and skirts which I appreciated. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of work.
