I hired Floors N Design to replace my entire downstairs floor with tile, install tile in a walk-in shower, replace countertops, and manage installation of kitchen cabinets. This is the second time that I have had them do work for me. The quality of their work is excellent, and the owner, Daniel, takes great pride in the work that they do. His employees are likewise skilled and careful. All of the tile and grouting was precise and even, and seams were finished very professionally. Daniel also worked we me to select the right tile and colors to match my other furnishings. On the business side, Daniel is one of the most professional and conscientious contractors that I have ever used. He walked with me around the house, asking questions and making suggestions as we went along. Then he provided me with a detailed written estimate for the work. The costs met my expectations for what I thought that the work would cost. During construction, Daniel frequently visited the house to check on the work and resolve design issues that arose. I needed my office floor completed and had used Floors N Design in the past, because I changed phones I had to look all over to find the number but I knew it would be worth it. I contacted them and as always Daniel was prompt to come out and look at my room and expeditiously gave me a quote. They scheduled the installation around my schedule and I am very busy, I had to travel a few times and kept moving the dates and each time they were amenable and understanding. I had some issues with the wood I bought and had to end up getting bamboo instead and they did their best to help me get what I needed. The day came when I was truly free and they came to install the bamboo. They were on time, they put down paper cover throughout the walk areas to the specific room. They worked diligently and cleaned up any mess they made as they went. They were professional and kept me informed the entire time. They removed my old bamboo with ease and then installed the new bamboo and it was just lovely!!! My room is beautiful and professionally done and my house had minimal impact, other than the room itself. I have a few floor projects coming up in the coming months and the only company I will use is Floors N Design. It is hard to find quality work, good customer service and flexibility nowadays, so when you do please take advantage of it. Hello, Choosing someone to install a wood floor in your home is a big decision. Not only are you looking for someone who will do the job at a fair price but you want to find a company who can do the work on time and on budget. Plus, you want to find someone you can trust in your own home. Without any reservation, I would recommend Floors N Design. Throughout the process from selecting the flooring to obtaining the right materials to installing the floor, Daniel and his team took care of everything from bringing the wood to our house (so it can get climate adjusted) to delivering the glue and other materials so you aren't carrying hundred pound vats of glue into your home. Once we set a date, Daniel and his team came to our house at the appointed date and time. Daniel was constantly at our house making sure that the job was done right. His team was able to remove all of the old wood flooring along with the carpet and the tile all in one day and without a lot of mess (dust is a big issue when you are tearing out tile). His team was able to install the wood floor as well as tile in our bathrooms within six days from start to finish on our first floor. He took care of pulling and reinstalling toilets and worked quickly and methodically to get our beautiful flooring installed. I have never seen a group of workers who worked as smartly or efficiently as the ones from Floors N Design. The last thing you want is for the installation process to drag on. He has wood and tile flooring installation down to a science. Daniel inspected the flooring throughout the process and made sure that it was installed correctly. Plus, he was able to stain special planks of the wood around the fireplace to make sure that the floor had a uniform appearance. I obtained three quotes from different companies and his price was in the middle of the two quotes. Personally, I would recommend the glue over nailing because we did not want any squeaking sounds when we talked on the floor. It has been six months since he installed our floor. I am extremely satisfied with FloorsNDesign's work in installation of the solid wood floor in a large room in my house. The room's foundation has a higher than normal moisture reading. The owner of FnD, Daniel, is very knowledgeable and a perfectionist. He took every necessary steps (including measuring the moisture of the ground and monitoring the temperature and humidity in the room) for proper installation to ensure that the wood floor is protected from the moisture underneath.
