No problems, very professional, and arrived on time every day. He was open to our request and worked with us. His tile work was great. We didn't have any complaints. So, needless to say, I didn't hesitate to rehire Jose to remodel my master bath. The first sign I ignored was that Alias no longer worked for him. Second, he tried to get more money out of us for the job after we approved his bid. He claimed that he didn't know about the scope of work. I offered to show him the material that we were using, but he declined. I gave him a drawing of the design that we wanted with the tile, and he said that the drawing was small. Even with that being said I told him that we wanted to be fair and that we would meet him halfway with an increase but, he said that he would let it slide because I was a repeat customer. Third, he lied to us almost on a daily basis about when he was coming to work. He came late or not at all. We thought we were going to get a good job in the end, so we let this slide. The job drug on forever, and finally, he had 3/4 done, and we needed the granite installed before he could finish. I contacted him the day the granite was finished, and he lied for two more weeks about coming to finish until we caught him in a lie about being out of town because of a family members illness. We called him on a different number, and he was on a job site with construction noise in the background. He then came clean and admitted that he was not coming back to finish the job. He left a mess with the tile work. The tile wa) s not level, crooked, raggedy cuts. We had to find someone else to finish the job. Don't use this company! They do shoddy work, lie, and don't know how to manage his projects.
