Of the companies I contacted, he had great pricing and was very transparent and upfront about costs and potential factors that might affect the price such as condition of subfloor, etc. He gave me a range and wound up charging me on the lower end, which was appreciated. I had him put in Garrison engineered wood flooring in two bedrooms to try to match my existing wood floors in common areas along with a baseshoe to cover the gap between the floor and baseboard. He was able to keep the floor flush in one bedroom, and added a transition for the second because the subfloor had poured concrete and was higher than the landing. I truly appreciated how he and his team went above and beyond throughout the entire process. Our project was a bit challenging and unique because we only wanted to spot treat areas of hardwood flooring that had been scratched and stained by a former renter. Paul handled it thoughtfully and professionally from start to finish. His 5-star Yelp reviews initially prompted me to request a quote, but it was his outstanding customer service, responsiveness, communication skills, and thoroughness that ultimately earned him the job. His team does exceptional quality work, and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. I highly recommend Paul and his team for any flooring project!

David was great to work with - he gives it to you straight, gave a very competitive price. There was no pressure to work with him, but he always answered every question before we committed, and continued to communicate regularly throughout the project. He gave an estimated time frame and they beat it by a couple days. They were very accommodating on start date when we asked to move it up, and were happy to work with our schedule when other parts of the house weren't ready for them. Some contractors come one day and dont come back for a couple days - they showed up every day they said they would be here. The crew, Peter and Miguel, worked well together and so they were able to move through the project quickly. The finished product looks great thanks to their attention to detail. Another thing, we were living there during the flooring and they were very understanding and happy to work with us on minimizing the disruption to our home. Lastly, for the material, they referred us to a place nearby that had a great selection, and great price. Would highly recommend Lam's Flooring to anyone who needs flooring work done.

I am glad this ended on a good note, since other than the communication issue, the floors look amazing, and his team worked hard and quickly. His team did leave floor finish stains on the baseboards and my kitchen quartz counter walls, so heads up, don't forget to ask them to use painters tape if you're getting your hardwood floors sanded and refinished. (Initial review) Initially when Alex first gets your business, they seem responsive and even tells me about how shoddy of a job the previous flooring people did in my home (fixed by previous owners). But the moment any small issues come up, Alex just ghosts his customers. In the video you can see the cracks happening under normal body weight. I really wanted to believe that at the very least he and his team will try to provide any rectification, even if it's just to come out again to check on the floor to see what else can be done, like I wouldn't even have mind paying an additional small fee for materials. Instead, since he has been fully paid, he won't even see the project to the end to make sure he delivers on quality work. I understand that things come up and he could be busy but the non-responsiveness for two weeks is clear.

Installation kicked off right on schedule. Alex's crews showed up early each morning with smiles, set clear expectations for the day, and--my favorite part--left the site spotless every evening. No sawdust trails, no empty coffee cups, just tidy floors ready for the next day's work. The installers were polite and happy to answer my many questions about care and maintenance. A special shout-out to the team member who tackled the staircase: the precision on each tread and riser is next-level. Friends keep asking if the stairs were custom-built! The new baseboards tie everything together with crisp, clean lines that make the room feel finished and elevated. Bottom line: if you're hunting for competitive pricing without sacrificing craftsmanship or communication, call Aesthetic Flooring. I'm beyond thrilled with the transformation and can't stop staring at my beautiful new floors. I've added a few photos of the project in progress so you can see the crew's attention to detail for yourself. Highly, highly recommend!

Choosing the right flooring is a big decision, and Eder was incredibly patient while we weighed our options, even providing full sample boxes so we could see how the wood looked in our own light. One thing we really appreciated was Eder's transparency. Before the installation began, he walked the house with us and highlighted specific areas that needed extra attention. Being aligned on the solutions beforehand saved us a lot of stress and ensured there were no surprises mid-project. The crew was efficient and actually finished the entire job ahead of the original schedule. During the final walkthrough, we identified a few minor items that needed touching up. So recently when my wife and I decided to have our carpeted floors replaced with vinyl flooring, the first place we went to was Hernandez Wholesale Flooring. We met with Steven, who did a great job explaining the process. Steven is extremely knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful and patient, and he helped us select the proper flooring for what we were looking for. Steven then put us in contact with Kenny, who helped install our new flooring and oversaw the project. Kenny came to our house the same day we first spoke over the phone and he provided us with a cost estimate and timeline for how many days it would take to complete the project. Once everything was in place, the work began. Kenny and his team did an OUTSTANDING job installing the flooring. His team showed up on time every day, they were extremely friendly, professional and very skilled. They also stayed within the timeframe of how long the job would take, which isn't always the case with this kind of work. I…read moremessaged Sequoia after browsing a bunch of different flooring contractors since it genuinely seemed like they do good work. I asked for an estimate for engineered wood floor + install and carpet removal and was told $13-17 psf includes material (floor + baseboard), labor, and carpet removal--$3-6 psf if install only. My husband and I eventually went to their showroom and they were nice enough to let us take some Garrison samples home since we were trying to match our existing floor. We scheduled an in-home consult with Eder and he was friendly and punctual. Decided on a material, went over all the necessary info, and they said they would send me an estimate. However, the estimate I received was $17.95 psf NOT including carpet removal, that was another $1k added separately, bringing my total to about $10k for 462sf of usable floor. Also, turned out we only needed baseshoe, not baseboards, which didn't seem to affect the cost at all. I did ask them to provide a price for carpet removal only for a third (very small) room, and that was lumped into the $1k. When I asked them why the price psf is higher than I was originally given and why it no longer includes carpet removal (just for the 2 rooms), they told me they didn't know why I was told it was included, which is a pretty unprofessional reply. You don't know and neither do I? I also don't know if I was actually talking to the owner Sarah (Gabby at the showroom said I probably talked to Sarah when I mentioned Yelp messages) or an intern on the account. They then said they have engineered wood in the $18-22 range too, which for some reason was never mentioned in their original message. Either way, the Garrison maple we picked is a mid-tier engineered wood at best, nothing fancy or luxury, and 3 other companies quoted that same material at $6 psf--Sequioa wanted over $10 psf if their labor estimate is accurate. I was fully prepared to have them do this job at $17 psf but the bait & switch with carpet removal felt dishonest and left a bad taste in my mouth, despite their $500 discount offer afterwards.
