Floorchain inc did an INCREDIBLE job installing new hardwood floors in our recently purchased home. Armen, his dad, and his cousin do all of the work themselves and by hand! They even go so far as to pick out which floorboards will look good next to each other based on the graining/coloring of each plank and custom made thresholds where the hardwoods met with tile or carpet. It is truly a work of art! Armen is a clear communicator and sent us professional invoices letting us know when payments were due in advance. The job ended up being more difficult than expected because previous homeowners had just glued new flooring on top of the existing flooring instead of removing it - so Armen and his team had to remove several layers of previously existing flooring before they could begin installing. However, Armen kept us informed and let us know how the schedule would be impacted. It is nice only having a small family team at the house so you know they are trustworthy and safe - it will not be different people every day. They went above and beyond for us, they even brought in packages for us while we were away. I am so glad we got the floors redone before we moved into the home because it made all the difference! The entire look of the home is improved. It was also convenient as there was no furniture inside and so nothing was in the way or got dusty in the process. *note that the pictures were taken before the baseboards were painted, so not 100% finished read more

They have done excellent job, installing and finishing my flooring project. They installed unfinished 6" white oak flooring, and all my stair treads. I am just very excited. And would recommend them to everyone. Thanks again Floorchain for great work. read more

We got a new house and the floors were terrible. My husband contacted Armen to get an estimate. It was so easy to communicate with him and he explained us the work that should be done in all details that we decided to hire him. Our floors look amazing now, every time we have guests there is no way not to receive a complement. We have recommended him to all our friends without hesitation read more

Need someone to resurface your floors? Look no further. I looked around and got quotes to resurface my oak-wood floors. I knew my floor boards were thin and some were even cracking. I do not have the money to replace my floors and I am on a real tight budget. I just wanted someone to make my floors look good until I win the lottery. Floorchain Inc quoted me half what a well known company quoted me. They even threw in extras like replacing any broken floorboards and patching up any gaps for no extra charge as part of the deal. So I went with Floorchain Inc after talking with Armen. Armen is pretty upfront on what the job would be like and the time table. I placed a deposit but I couldn't figure out a date for another week. When I finally came up with dates that worked for me, he patiently accommodated me and my schedule. He was always quick to respond to any text and calls about any questions I had. I had a lot of questions about ones concerning moving all my stuff out. When the day finally came, Armen's dad, who does most of the work, was there to greet me on the scheduled time. Very friendly guy and he right away went to work. To do my whole house took about 4 days. I came home to floors that looked like new. His dad did a great job. Now there was a touch up I wanted done and Armen quickly came back to finish it. He said that moving my furniture and stuff back in that I would be bound to scratch my floors. He offered to take care of any touch ups that needed to be done for free. Sweet! I don't think anyone can beat them when it comes to price and workmanship. Those extras are like topping on a cake. Who else can do all that and be licensed? NO ONE!!! read more

I would like to start out with thanking this company for their professionalism and great customer serves; therefore, provide you with details of the work they performed on my property. FLOORCHAIN, Inc is AMAZING!! They have great pricing, and above all, they're very friendly and professional. My husband and I looked and received many quotes from other companies that were outrageous. We found FLOORCHAIN here on Yelp, and so glad to have met Armen and his father. We couldn't be happier with out floors. We have received so many compliments on them and we have only had them done a few days now. I HIGHLY recommend FLOORCHAIN, Inc for your next floor project. They make sure everything is in good shape and when you ask them for an advice like, which one is better and which one will last longer; they have the answer for you. Overall they take their job serious and are professionalized in their business. Overall they have a Great service. I recommend Floorchain to my friends and relatives, but most importantly to anyone who needs to get a service for their homes, offices and businesses. read more

Not too much more I can say that hasn't already been said about FloorChain Inc. This family owned and run company is everything you'd expect in a professional flooring/installation business. Not only professional but friendly and accommodating. Armen's dad, Ravmik, takes care of everything from moving furniture, putting the non-scratch pads on (that were purchased by us), and cleaning up. Armen's estimate is extremely reasonable, but even more than the price, he provides a complete cost analysis and details of the work schedule. Their communication is spot-on, from the time Armen says he'll be over to meet us and give his estimate, to the timing and completion of the job. You can just about set your watch as to when Ravmik arrives in the morning to begin work. A total pleasure ..Highly recommended !! read more

If you're looking to refinish or install wood floors, look no further than Floorchain. From the first meeting with Armen, I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He took the time to explain the whole process (including why paying an extra $2000 for staining, which is what other companies recommended, was not needed). This is a family company and his dad, Razmik, and cousin did the work. They showed up when they said they were going to show up and finished the job in a timely manner, and the results are beautiful. They truly care about their craft, and it shows. I am extremely happy with Floorchain, I love my floors, and I highly recommend them! read more

Armen and his family was great to work with. If you want professional, courteous, and prompt service, these guys are the ones to go with. They installed my new engineered hardwood floors in a couple days which was pretty fast and they did a fantastic job. Although the price was good, the service was even better. I highly recommend Floorchain, Inc to work on your hardwood floors. Truly great doing business with these guys. read more

How often can you say, "they were the nicest people I've met in a long time" when it comes to specialists in LA? I needed help with a project at my home, called Armen (might be misspelling his name, I apologize!) and he cheerfully made arrangements for assistance from his father. I arrived and received the best, most professional, and more importantly the most caring response to my problem. This wasn't a high-end floor refinishing or installation job (which they would do, and should be your first call if you happen to need such work), but a complicated cut of wood I was unable to do. Not only did he (the father) cut the piece, but I was given sandpaper of the proper grit, and polyurethane to finish the job. He helped a stranger, he wouldn't accept my repeated attempts to compensate him, and cheerfully sent me on my way. Now what you should ask yourself when choosing to hire someone to work on your home, are they in it just for the job...the money, or do they do it because they are exceedingly good at it, and they love what they do? The answer for them is the latter. Think of the things you know you're good at, the skills you're happy to share with others because it's your craft...then think, "I need to hire these guys to do my floors." I certainly will. Thanks again, guys! read more

Horrible experience with Floorchain from start to finish. Please think twice before hiring them - I don't want anyone to go through what we did. Your hardwood floors are too important - don't risk it. Issues included confrontational/intimidating behavior by the owners, price increases after the project started, not showing up as scheduled several times, uneven and damaged floors, leaving a mess both inside and outside our house - the list goes on and on. We had to spend thousands of dollars afterwards to fix their mistakes and poor craftsmanship. We were even more surprised by our experience given all of the 5 star reviews on here. read more

Armen and his Father are amazing!!! They installed 700 sq feet of Bamboo flooring to the Living Room, Dining and kitchen area. It looked so beautiful I ordered more flooring so they can come back and install flooring in our Master Bedroom. They are very professional and have a friendly service. I will recommend them to anyone that needs their flooring installed. They have been doing this for a long time and they are experts with good price and excellent service. read more

Outstanding in all aspects of my new engineered wood flooring project - right from product selection to installation. Armen is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. read more

Very happy with the results. I had an original oak floor that was covered up by carpets for over 50 years so it was in relatively good condition. Armen's father took off very little material, just enough to remove the old finish without removing unnecessary amounts of wood in case I want to refinish again some years from now. They did a great job of staining and polishing the floor and it looks like a million bucks. They didn't spare any expense... the equipment they used was very high-end and the results speak for themselves. They were friendly and their price was fair so I would definitely recommend them to others. read more

My husband and I recently purchased a new home - half the flooring was hardwood, scratched and scuffed to impressive levels of damage, the other half was linoleum tile. (Blech.) Armen and his dad came in and gave me a great price, which not only included new floors, but fixes to scratches, scuffs, and broken floor boards in the existing hardwood. When they found out we had to move in quicker than we'd thought, due to our apartment lease being up at the end of the month, Armen made every effort to schedule the work as quickly as possible. I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went, and how awesome the floors looked afterwards. The floorchain crew handled the moving chaos wonderfully, and the result is a gorgeous floor that will last for years and years to come. Thanks so much! read more
