After getting multiple quotes and talking with many different flooring companies, we decided to follow a recommendation from a friend to visit Mike at Floor Gallery. Turns out it was a great suggestion that enabled us to save money on floors and spend that planned money on new appliances in our new, 20-yr old house. We had our vinyl floors installed in 2018. Originally we were going to go with an engineered hardwood or laminate but due to dogs and potential water issues, Mike suggested we use a multilayered vinyl. It was a great suggestion. Although installation took a little longer than expected, we're in love with our floors and the price. We came back three years later in 2021 and had the rest of our carpet replaced with new carpet. I want to write a fair review, so I'll include all the pros and cons from our experience with floor gallery. When we first came into the store, I loved the floor collections there. They have a lot to offer if you are as picky as me. Mike was great and helpful at assisting us with floor collections and brought 4 different samples to our house the next day for measurements. However, we didn't know that nightmare began after we signed the contract. We decided to go with vinyls for all upstairs floor. Mike told us that his team will start on the next Monday, latest the Tuesday. However, he NEVER called on Monday to update me on his team's schedule. So I had to call him and heard him saying " I was just about to call you". The team didn't show up on Monday, they came Tuesday morning around 8am. Things went well the first day, demo was fast. The second day, the team came around same time, but they slowed down a lot, and left the house an hour earlier compared to Tuesday. Same thing with the third day, they left one hour earlier and say they will come back to finish the rest on Friday. After they left and finished on Friday, floor looked nice at first. But then we started to find many detail problems. Up until this point, we NEVER hear anything from Mike to ask if we were satisfied with the work. Our floor was not level, and we could feel the bumps and floor was moving and making sounds. So we contacted Mike and had him and his worker to come in and talk about the problems. On the day, we had to reschedule, so I called Mike to reschedule. He said he will ask his guy first and call me back shorty. 3 HOURs later, I still DIDN'T hear anything from him, and our new appointment is in 30 mins. So I texted him with attitude of course ( it's been more than one time he supposed to update me, but he didn't!) Then Mike and the worker came to check the floor. And they told me " cuz our floor is CHEAP, so that's why it's not level!" And Mike was blaming on his worker in front of me saying that the worker didn't update him or me and decided on his own of what to do with our floor. We gave them permission to float our floor when necessary at the beginning and they decided not to use it and came back to tell me our floor is cheap! The team came back to fix the floor the following week. They just decided to float EVERYWHERE this time. I don't even know if that's necessary. They used a total of 15 bags of float. It took the team another 4 days to finish the floor and came back extra 2 times to fix the minor details and the side. We had not hear from Mike at all since he came and told me our house floor is cheap. And all he ever contacted us was to have his check! The quality of the floor is great, the work was not to our satisfaction, but the encountering experience with Mike was bad! And supposed to be 3 days of work( according to Mike), it took them 8 days to finish. I'm not going to say everyone have the experience like us, but just make sure if you decide to work with Mike, call him first and ask what is going on first, so you can plan your time as you needed. And make sure check on all the detail works. read more

A little over a month ago, we changed all our floors in our one story home to laminate. Floor Gallery was last on our list of places to when we were canvassing around with different companies and different people, but I'm so glad we did end up there without planning to! We had a great experience with them from the very beginning, and all for a reasonable price. You get a free personalized service and really get to know the people you are working with. No need to worry about dealing with these "fly by night" companies/people that cannot guarantee their work afterwards. They will take the time to understand your needs and work with you in achieving those goals you have for your home. The owner, Mike, will personally come out to your home and do the measuring/estimating himself. What makes it even better is that he brings all the samples you have chosen in store to your home and so you can see how it will actually look with the lighting and location at home. And these are not the normal-sized tiny samples that you generally get from those other floor places, he brings a much bigger sample size so you can get a better idea of the different variations in the wood/laminate/tile. Everything in our home was changed to laminate except the bathrooms, so 90% of the work was done by Ash and his crew. Another great experience! You will not be disappointed working with Ash! He has been doing this for decades and is still passionate about his work. And when you have someone that is passionate about their job and what they do, you know they will do it right and go above and beyond to make it a great experience. These people take great pride in their work and so you can take pride of your floors afterwards too! He has good attention to detail. This is not someone who is there just to do the job, but someone who makes sure the job is done right, the best possible way, and in the most efficient way. He is honest and communicates with you every step of the way on what is being done and what to expect. His work is clean and at the end you get great looking floors. Now, as for the bathrooms, our experience was not as great with that crew - since it was done by another group. There was lack of communication with "Miguel" - who claimed the job but we never saw in person. The crew he sent to do the work did a poor job on the tile work and quarter rounds. However, Mike (owner of Floor Gallery) has been great in working with us in trying to get this problem solved. I wish we had gotten together sooner with Mike while they were still working on the bathrooms, but I'm just gonna put that as another lesson learned for future reference. I've been told this is the first time something like this has ever happened, so for everyone else, just make sure you are actually working with the person that Mike has given the job to! Overall, our experience with Floor Gallery has been awesome! I have already and will continue to recommend Mike and Ash for your flooring needs. You won't regret it! read more

In June 2017, we had all of the floors in the downstairs of our home (in Shadow Creek Ranch) replaced (some tile, some old hardwood and some carpet). The product that we bought was exactly what we wanted (wood look tile), and Mr. Farhoud, the owner, made us a good deal. However, his demo team left a lot to be desired. His workers did not ever return the keys to our house. We had to change the locks for safety reasons. Repeated requests for our keys to be returned went unanswered. The demo team was frustrated with the difficulty of the job, as the adhesive on our old floors was particularly sticky and the thinset on our tile was very hard to remove, but they showed terrible work ethic. They left a mess behind, broken tile pieces in our driveway and yard near the curb, the quarter round they removed with rusted nails on our back patio. During their work, they left a large dent/scratch in the dishwasher, and we have since replaced the dishwasher, but have photos. They also broke off a portion of the seal on one of the back windows when removing screens (which they never put back), and I have photos of this as well. In several places in the house, the baseboard has been all but destroyed by their demo, and not repaired with wood putty, I have photos of this as well. Perhaps they assumed it would be covered by quarter round, but given the care of the team, I am not keen to have any additional work done by them in our house ever. In the dining room, a significant amount of adhesive was left on the windows, walls, and blinds. I have not been able to remove it with solvents from the glass or blinds, though most has rubbed off the walls. I was extremely disappointed for these workers to treat our home as a construction site, throwing cigarette butts and trash in our flower beds. Overall, we are happy with the installation. The tile looks great almost everywhere. There are a few places where the installation team was lazy, and altered the spacing in order to avoid making cuts. I would not mind, were it not so visible and obvious. This is most noticeable in the master bedroom and small hall bathroom. The tile installation team also got thinset or grout in numerous places on the walls, millwork, and quite a lot on the baseboard of the kitchen cabinets. This is simply sloppy and careless. I can provide photos of all of this as well. It is not yet clear if we will be able to chip it off, or will have to repaint to cover it. The primary problem from the tile install is their failure to finish things. For example, the toilet in the hall bath was put back in position, but not tightened down at all, and the hose was connected so loosely that water leaked everywhere from it on first use. Additionally, the team failed to replace the threshold at the back door. There is literally an 1.5 inch gap under our backdoor. I would insist they return to do this, but as I stated above, I am not willing to have any additional work done by Floor Gallery workers. I found the sales team and owner personally to be very pleasant to work with, but the follow through by the demo team in particular leaves a lot to be desired. read more

I am a return customer! I used Floor Gallery to install hardwood floors in my home a few years ago. I recently ended up selling that house and relocating to a new area. I needed all of the carpet in my new home removed and replaced with hardwood floors. I returned to Floor Gallery because I knew it was my one stop shop to find it all! We used them for laminate, carpet and tile installation and have been very satisfied with the end result. The materials used were best in class( 12.3mm laminates, 3mm padding) as per google, carpets with 10 years stain protection however it did not blow our budget! Having one upfront estimate from Mike helps since it includes everything(removing tiles, floor preparation etc), in other words no hidden/additional charges like big box stores, no trip fee for measurement! The installers who came to install tiles and carpet both had over 14+ years of experiences and that reflected in their work. Both laminate and carpet were installed in one day by two different teams. Best in town! My wife and I had visited several flooring places whom had given us several estimates on a floor replacement for the entire upstairs. We wanted a removal of carpet and very good quality wood laminate placed. We kept getting estimates in the $7k range including Home Depot and Floors for Living. Then I looked up other flooring places on Google and found the ridiculously high rating if Floor Gallery. All the good comments I read about the workers and Mike, the owner were too good to pass up. So I stopped by to talk to Mike. He had me pick out laminate and ceramic tile (for the master bath) and that afternoon he stopped by to give us an estimate. He was nearly 30% cheaper and considering the high dollar investment, that's an amazing deal. Also, the workers were very fast, courteous and later the flooring perfectly.
