Trevor came to repair our gate and ended up doing a mini rehabilitation of our 27-year-old gate, so it will last a few years longer until we sell this house, built in 1935. Unfortunately, then it will be a scrape, and at least three townhomes will be built on this lot in Hyde Park just west of Montrose. He was on time and was obviously focused on making sure the gate was in perfect working order. The charge was fair and reasonable, and what I think was a good deal. He thoroughly diagnosed the unit, and followed up the manufacturer to determine the root cause of the problem. I used Yelp to find someone to repair our gate at about 4:45pm on a Friday. It was a semi-emergency since the gate wasn't working at all and it's the only handicapped access for my 80yr old mother. The first company to respond was Overhead Door Co. For $40 they were going to send a tech out as soon as they could locate one. Immediately after I hung up with them, Trevor from Triple M called. On a Friday night within 25 min. of me sending the inquiry! We discussed the problem and then he FaceTimed me through a diagnosis and an actual solution in about 20 min. He was very knowledgeable and took a real interest in the situation. He gave me great advice, potentially saving me several hundred dollars. Houston Fence Co. charges $299 for a service call---if they can fit you in! I can't believe that Triple M actually took the time to help me fix my problem over the phone. Unfortunately, Overhead Door messaged me in Yelp to say they had a tech on the way, but I missed it since I was busy FaceTiming. He showed up about 30 min later. I didn't realize he was already on the way or I would've called to cancel. I had him double check everything Trevor & I did. He told me some additional things to watch for and I paid his $40 service call fee and sent him on his way. The new owners reached out to me a few months back seeing to see if they could make things right with my last experience with the prior owner. As luck has it, I just finished building our new home and needed a gate. Trevor, the owner, listened to my tale of woe and showed great empathy and assured me things would be different. It has a beautiful finish and is hung properly. It works silently with the motor I purchased and looks great on my home. Trevor, the new owner, recently helped us to solve an issue with our gate that took 10 weeks of troubleshooting, replacement parts, and service visits. Our LiftMaster driveway gate controller has been chewing up batteries. Batteries are supposed to last 2-3 years; lately ours have been lasting 2-3 months. I have dealt with other gate companies and even a couple of electricians. All of them did helpful work (in terms of replacing parts that were wearing out or had been poorly installed to begin with) but didn't solve the problem. I called MMM when the latest batteries died. Trevor, the owner, and I talked on the phone for almost half an hour. I described previous work, and he talked about the way gate controllers work and the different possibilities for problems. He convinced me that he knew his profession well. When no other technician was available, he came out himself within two hours. He looked at the control box, tested the components, and hooked up a new set of batteries. He gave me a quote for a new control board (the only thing that hasn't been replaced!) and told me about some warning signs to look for so I can call him out before the batteries are dead next time. While we was there he tightened one of the gate hinges and programmed a controller for me! I definitely recommend MMM. read more

I called just to get key pad added to my gate. My gate was working fine. The guy came over and messed with my battery . 3 days later my gate completely stopped working. When I called to set up an appointment, they stated they were to busy to set up the appointment to fix the gate the guy broke. Terrible service and work. I had someone else come over to fix it. Triple M installed my gate and opener 18 years ago. They have been servicing our gate since then with great service. Evidently Trevor recently took over the business and has carried on the previous owner's legacy. We recently had our opener intermittently malfunction. After Trevor came out (within 2 days), he identified the board was corroded and ordered a replacement. That all happened within 1 week and we were good to go. or so we thought. The problem resurfaced after a couple days and Trevor came back out to diagnose the problem. He traced the problem to the wiring on the gate operator and was able to get the manufacturer to fix it under warranty. This may not sound like much, but Trevor was conscience of our inconvenience and advocated on our behalf with the manufacturer (needless to say the manufacturer was not enthusiastic about repairing it timely). It would have been easy for a service company to suggest replacing the entire unit, but Trevor assessed the problem and it only cost us a new board. Thanks Triple M. Trevor worked with me to install a new gate entry keypad. He was prompt and professional and I received an estimate and date for the service quickly. The first day the system worked very well but by the second day the signal to open the gate was very weak - we had to get right up on the gate to open it despite the fact that the new equipment we had installed was state of the art. Trevor worked with me and we figured out that an antenna in the receiver had come loose and once it was reconnected, the signal was strong again and now our gate works very well.
