Their shipper delivered broken tiles to me. I went I to the store to inform them of what needed to be replaced and was told I needed to bring the broken tiles back to the store myself. I was told by the store manager that if they were going to pick up the damaged products I would have to pay for it myself. Floor & Decor and their delivery service are apparently okay with delivering damaged items without accepting responsibility. I should have saved myself the $200 delivery fee and rented a truck instead of wasting my money. I took a day off of work to receive my material I purchased and after realizing they're not coming to deliver, I can't get a hold of anyone at this store or the toll free number online... We absolutely love this store and the products offered. The tile choices and flooring are fair priced, just remember once gone they may never get the same one again. Buy extra for safety. On this visit we needed to exchange some Grout Refresher that I purchased in the wrong color. I didn't keep my receipt (its a guy thing) but they pulled it up by telephone number and made exchange quick and painless. I ended up purchasing a couple items also as appreciate a store that recognized a return could mean additional business opportunities. Terrible service. I asked about a specific vinyl flooring. Sales rep and manager, who happened to be standing next to each other, confirmed that they had over 100 boxes in stock but no floor samples. I asked if I could see it, since I am buying for my whole house but I'd need to see it first. They advised that it's in a pallet, way in the back and can't move it. Not even a "come back in a few days, when the warehouse gets rearranged". Nothing. Just, too bad, we're not even going to bother. Unbelievable. read more

I needed tiles for my table for my swimming pool. Anthony immediately offered his assistance. I explained my situation and he suggested a few tiles. I normally do not write reviews, but when I do, it is because of the exceptional service! My boyfriend and I are almost done with our dream home, yet we were missing floor tiles. We had gone in and out of the Doral store, trying to decide on the perfect set. When we finally agreed on the look, we saw it was sold out in our Miami area stores. We even checked Ft. Lauderdale and they, too, did not have the number of pieces we needed. One thing my boyfriend taught me, is that one should never settle, so I did not want to look for another tile that was in stock. We had to have this specific tile. I called the Pompano store and a lovely lady, Mickey, helped me. The computer system read they only had a few tiles, yet she placed me on a brief hold to physically count what they have....AND THEY HAD WHAT WE NEEDED! We still ran into a couple issues: We had to pay in person (online payment was not an option because the system did not have correct inventory), and we needed those tiles by Wednesday and it was Monday! Going to Pompano, from Miami, on a work day, and it was already the afternoon, was just not going to happen. I called the store again, and asked to speak to the manager. Cedric Everette was the employee who helped me for the rest of our transaction. Cedric gave me his personal cell number, so we can be in direct contact. He confirmed they had all the pieces we needed and promised to hold all 222 tiles for us, as long as we went the next day. I couldn't express anymore how important those were in order to complete our new home. Cedric was gracious and followed through! My boyfriend went the next day to pay in person, and Cedric was able to arrange delivery for the next day, Wednesday! We received all our tiles the next morning and couldn't be more excited/happy! Great prices but horrible customer service and practices. Purchased countertop, paid with credit card. Told cashier I did not want to be in their computer system. She said she had to put a name in. Fine. Make one up. The woman at pickup refused to give me my merchandise without an ID. I have a receipt and the credit card. Had to wait 15 minutes for a manager. My house renovation project took on its own life and snowballed as is often the case so when I went to floor and decor and found the tile I wanted, I was beyond fortunate to have Howard Hall (pro services) assist me. When he heard we were under time constraints, he researched local stores to see if the tile was in stock; he provided us with the shipping and delivery dates and info, and after we left, he, along with his patient and generous manager did a little more due diligence and were able to locate my tiles and get them to me earlier than originally promised as they found them elsewhere. He went above his duties and also was honest in giving credit to his manager as well. He also assisted us in the minutiae such as telling us about the different types of grout available, and was all in all a pleasure. Some stores are better than others as far as getting help the one of Sunrise is better more people willing to help and more carts Atlantic took me 20 + minutes to find a cart none outside and had to wait 30 minutes to get help and it wasn't busy maybe 20 people in the whole store But got what I needed and the prices are good so that's the main thing. Very large store with a huge selection. Whether you are looking for tile, hardwood flooring, backsplash or other flooring needs this is the place to go. The sales people were extremely helpful especially Val and Keith. I was able to purchase a large amount of tile and have them hold it so someone to come and pick it up for me. I do wish there were a few more sales people on the floor to help on a busy Saturday but otherwise their service is top notch. I will definitely use them when I do my bathrooms. Customer Service and Follow up is beyond horrible. No call backs when promised after leaving messages and they won't give you an e-mail address to put things in writing. It's too bad, because their sales people go above and beyond, but despite that what good is it if they promise product in a shade, say they have the stock, and then the day of delivery can't deliver what they say they are going to. read more

They have two different installers onsite on different days to answer questions and set up appointments for estimates. It cost $25 for the measurement and quote that will be deducted from your purchase. They will hold items for 14 days. After that they charge you a fee per day to hold merchandise. You can return any extras for no restocking fee and full return. they let you purchase samples that can be returned for a full refund. I wish they had stickers to write on to put them on tile for checkout so you know what each piece is. I had to keep them in order and write on a piece of paper the sku numbers for each to provide cashier. The store is large and very clean. There were a ton of men who offered no assistance to me whatsoever & I definitely had questions. Their hours are also friendly to people who actually work, most of these tile places are open from 9-5 M-F which is a joke for anyone who works. I just want to put my thoughts down on the service at floor and decor. When I went into the store somebody by the name of JP, one of the assistant managers very reluctantly helped me. When I asked could he help me pick some things out, he basically just walked away. It was obvious he was not interested in helping a customer. Contrary to that experience, I was very lucky to find Bidley. What a difference! Bidley spent over an hour with me going through all the different options for a backsplash. And then help me pick out something that I needed for the overflow from my spa into my pool. Not only is he a smart young man but he has an excellent eye for color. He should be promoted to a manager position. On my way out I stop by JP again and told him that he was not very helpful. The other manager Val was there.
