Then when finally get to ask a question they put you on hold again, which for me became 15mins with a total hold time over 3 calls of almost 30mins just to get a "no we don't have it" answer. The staff was very horrible with us they didn't even look to help us in anyway. We waited for almost 2hours just trying to get our supplies and they acted like we didn't make any order. The workers are very lazy and treated us with disrespect. And our order was on the forklift and they didn't bring it out when we were told the order would be ready at 7am. It is now almost 9am, this type of stuff is unexplainable. Please save your time and don't order anything from this spot. read more

We came in to look at tile for our bathroom renovation project (first time there) and were assisted by Rease, a young man who knocked our socks off with his attentiveness, enthusiasm and knowledge about all things related to tile, style, grout and bathroom do's and don'ts. He spent nearly an hour with us and answered all our questions and made us feel like we now "have a friend in the business." Great prices, great selections. If you go to the Moorestown, NJ, store definitely ask for Deb Borneo. She is awesome, and will help you pick out a palette for your kitchen, bathroom, etc., based on the style you're going for and your budget. Trying to navigate the store can be a little overwhelming, but Deb really made it a pleasurable experience and I left excited about what my new bathroom will look like! We have been in Floor and Decor on three different occasions. Our last visit, when we purchased our materials, was less than easy. The first two people we found to ask questions at two different times were both rude. Each woman, one who appeared to be a manager (not wearing a red vest), pretty much laughed in our face regarding our question about finding a product. Their customer service was terrible. The only person we could find that was extremely helpful was named Jimmy. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and went out of his way several times to help find materials from the back. He took time to answer all our questions about tiles and grout. He saved our visit from ending with purchasing nothing from Floor and Decor. read more

I am a contractor. On this date, 02/03/2019, I went to this store and I bought a sample tile. After I bought it, I showed it to my customer. My customer said it's okay, then I went back to this store a couple hours later. I showed the receipt to the pro desk, and I told him I wanted 900 square feet of this tile. When I asked him if you guys have it, they said that they have it. I ordered it after. First delivery came on, Febuary 13, 2019. Second day, I started the job. I finished one room and another day later I put the grout, but the basement is dark and I didn't understand that the tile is different . I called the customer and she came and saw that the tile is not the same as before. After I go to the garage to check the pallete and I saw that the two pallets are different. After I called the store, and I talked to the manager, Shawn. He told me that this is my fault and that I already signed the paper. After I asked him how is it my fault and he said that they are all the same tile and I went to the store and I brought Shawn to the work area, he saw with his eyes and he went to the garage and checked the material, there were 5 different color tiles and different item number. He say that it's my fault again. I told him why aren't they checking the order and why did they send the wrong one to my work area. Then, he said it's a lot of mess and he called his chief manager and said that there's a lot of mess. Next, he came three times to my customer's house. Everytime I called him, it was a different story and after the last time he came, he brought another sample. My customer had no choice and I was stuck in the middle of the job. He said he has this tile. My customer said okay, send me it. When he was gone, another 10 days past, and I called him and he wasn't answering. My customer is so upset. I go to the store and I saw the store manager. He told me another story. I asked him where are my materials, these guys played me just like a game. Everybody said that they are working on it. My schedule got messed up. I was late to another 2 jobs because of it. I lost 2 good customers. Same day, I called the store chief manager. He told me that this is my mistake and that I shouldn't go to court. He told me that I installed the tile and that its my fault. I asked him why did they send me the wrong materials. I said it's not my mistake. I asked what is there job? Sitting in the office all day and doing nothing? He's okay. Every week his paycheck goes to his bank account. He doesn't care about the customers. I came over there to get materials for my job, and then they blame everything on me. I have a family and I don't have a lot of money. I got stuck in the middle of this job for a month, and no money went to my house. I never saw a bigger problem than this. I have been a general contractor for 15 years. I asked the guy when are my materials coming, and he said he doesn't know. This manager is a big liar. And I called Shawn again, he started this problem. After he never answered my phone. I told my customer to call him. This people love to lie and my customer is my neighbor. This delivery came today, March 16, 2019. This delivery came a half and hour ago. I wanna reach this company owner, but these three managers never gave me an exact number. You guys have a buf company but you don't have 900 square feet of an exact material? Wow. Then why do you guys try to promote you store, if you treat people like this? Why do you guys just sell left over material? Why do you blame people for you mistakes? I lost jobs because of you guys. I don't have problems with any stores. First time I came to this store, these people played me. I like honest people, not liars. Thanks for making me and my customer so upset. read more

When shopping for laminate or hardwood floors I cannot stress how amazing Drew was. So first of all there's a lot of miscommunication at this store and someone named Johnny who royally ruined an order for us. We had called in an order for a stair nose piece in November before Thanksgiving for our floors with Johnny - I believe from the Pro Desk - and it just became a nightmare. Eventually we discovered the ordered was entered under Johnny's name (?) - he took ran our card for the amount and then we never received any order number or confirmation of the order. We went to Floor and Decor to try and locate our order and no one could find it. It was so frustrating. After a lot of running around trying to locate the order that we paid for and paid for the shipping for it, Drew admitted he could not find the order. But Drew had been helping us since Johnny ruined everything, he could see our transaction in the system and the frustration in us and ordered another piece for us with expedited shipping. Drew helped us with our original floor purchase and every question we had the entire process. So the stars are for Drew, minus one because the lack of communication there and Johnny. read more

I think Floor and Decor under normal circumstances is a great store. But they have closed their stores for all but order pick-up in my area in NJ during the Covid-19 crisis. I went to pick up a special order I had placed prior to the crisis and found the pick-up process to be rather disorganized and a bit frightening. There was no designated line and indications for proper social distancing. Everyone sort of mulled around one another and tried to get the attention of the person coordinating the order pick up. I stood there for about 40 minutes until my small order was located and brought to me. In the meantime I noticed about half the customers with no face covering (despite the NJ law) and witnessed one man repeatedly spitting on the sidewalk. Bottom line... wait for them to reopen after the crisis or find your supplies at Lowes and Home Depot who remain open for normal shopping. Not sure why Yelp lists me as being in KS, I am in southern NJ. read more

My latest experience with Floor & Decor has been a nightmare. Their team loaded the wrong customer's palette of flooring (over twenty boxes of flooring) into our truck. I am now on day two and manager number two trying to coordinate pick up of the incorrect product. My father went to pick up the correct flooring but we did not have time to also load and deliver the incorrect flooring to the store. We have used Floor & Decor for two complete bathroom projects (thousands of dollars worth of marble tile) and two flooring projects. Each time I call to try to get this resolved, no one seems to have any answers and every time I speak with a manager, they are condescending, completely unhelpful and make it seem as though their inability to load the correct product at their loading station is our fault and we are on the hook to rectify the situation. I was going to use them for all of the tile for my kitchen renovation as well but will be sourcing other options now. If they had simply dropped off the correct flooring and picked up the incorrect flooring and offered a discount off of my future purchase, this could all have been avoided. Had been riding past this place since it opened a couple of months ago. We went to Avalon Flooring in King of Prussia, PA had a horrible time .A friend floor (installer) of ours said go to Floor & Decor best idea ever. Had a bigger selection at much better prices. And the sales people were the best. Juan was very attentive to my mother-in-law and wife while showing them the different items that we needed. I would recommend this store to all my friends. I was kind of torn for this review. I had been into this store three times since they opened and I ended up walking out twice because i never received any competent help. The second time i came in, the guy helping me could not even figure out the square footage i needed even after I gave him all my measurements.On my last visit, i spoke to the manager of the decorative area but she seemed more interested in playing on her cell phone than helping me. As i was getting ready to leave once again, i was approached by a worker named Ron who asked if he could help me.. When i explained my frustration, he apologized up an down and told me that should never have happened and promised to do everything he could to make it up to me. Now not only did Ron stay with me through my whole shopping experience, he was comfortable giving me his opinion about my choices and at one point he went and got me a bottle of water to make sure i was comfortable. I went from coming in to express my considerable frustrations to spending almost $1500. In the future, i will only deal with Ron and have informed all of my friends that they should deal with Ron to get their orders done quickly and correctly. read more

Very difficult to find good service now a days, I am a manager in a service type business and I can say that I appreciate when my technicians go above and beyond for a customer! If it were not for Joy helping us out today I probably wouldn't have been able to pick out what I needed in time. I had very little time to pick out my backsplash tile and was going back and forth with my wife and four year old looking at tons of different tile- not a single staff member asked me if I needed help. I was able to finally have someone come to the rescue. Joy was wonderful, she really knew what she was doing as far as showing us different types of tile that would match my countertops and cabinets. It was almost as if she could see the frustration I had trying to decide. My wife did not want certain tiles and is very picky - end result in a matter of minutes not only were we able to pick something out with confidence we also saved money on our selections with Joy's recommendations and assistance. I would have given 5 stars for my experience however this particular store needs more staff members. If it weren't for Joy I wouldn't give it more than 2 stars at most and that's because the variety and pricing is pretty good.... read more
