The selection here is great, the prices are great, and the inventory on hand is great as well. The only problem is they only seem to be able to help only customer at a time... this is true in the checkout lines when you ring up your order, but also true for the warehouse pick up area. All operations here are serial versus parallel. Once they get to a point where they can help more than one customer at a time, I think they will be golden. I also didn't like the fact that the accent border tile is not boxed in cases it's individually marked in bins. I needed 40 pieces of border tile and it looks like they had that quantity in NONE of their styles. If I was them I would sell the border tiles in cartons. This would also allow them to sell the broken ones ;-) read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had them do my take off for my tile job, they made a mistake and I did not have enough tile for my project. Once I realized I called to get more tile and was charged double from the original cost. Not only did I not have enough materials for my project I had to pay double. My mom and I went to Floor & Decor as our first stop for luxury vinyl plank flooring. We searched around for a bit and then Mike came over to help. He was so incredibly helpful and helped us narrow down flooring and color so effortlessly. I will admit even google didn't have as much info as Mike did. He even helped us pick baseboards and stair covers. He knew every in-and-out of flooring options, brands, colors, etc. It was so refreshing to have someone so talented assist us and steer us in the right direction. I work for a small residential design firm & needed a ton of samples for materials boards I was creating. Brianna, one the designers, was a HUGE help! She set up a pro account for our firm & we got all our samples for free. She was great with communication and diligent with checking my large order of materials. Given that we're house bound, we decided to put on our gloves and bandanas to cover the lower half of our faces and hit the store to stock up on all supplies necessary for the 17 house projects we've been procrastinating on forever! Brenda was a rockstar helping me load up boxes of tile for my project. She checked each box prior to loading it up. She went above and beyond to try to assist ringing up the purchase on my pro account. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single person in the store who could help with the pro account purchase. Through it all, Brenda smiled and attempted to assist. She called in the Assistant Manager for assistance with the pro account, no luck......I ended up purchasing anyway because of my project timeline. The internet service is so bad in the store, we received 25+ copies of the receipt via email. The poor internet service made it difficult for Brenda to communicate with other associates while trying to find someone to assist with the pro account. I can't thank design specialist Jamie Veloz for her time, knowledge of the F&D product line, and most importantly, her "Eye for Design." I personally am the first to admit my "eye" is lackluster at best, completely off color (literally) at its worst. Not only did Jamie guide me through my kitchen remodel with style, she "saved me from myself" by interrupting me (gently) from purchasing flooring that would have been completely wrong. She has given me the confidence to move forward with my renovation project... with her 'Eye" looking out for me along the way. Also deserving a shout-out is Shaun in flooring. I love this store for its selection and great prices. I decided to use them to install new kitchen counters and what a disaster. DO NOT use these guys for this if you want to preserve your sanity. They sub another company out that is a disorganized mess. I have never worked with a company that cares so little about doing a decent job and with no customer service whatsoever. They messed up the order and could not give a crap about trying to fix their mistake. They were supposed to come to tear out my old kitchen counters the day before they were installing new ones. The guys that came to tear them out said the work order said it was only for one little piece. This is after they showed up over 4 hours late without one phone call to advise me of this. I had to find someone after 5pm to come and tear out my old counters because the office had absolutely no interest in fixing their mistake. They did offer to come and pick up the old counters at a later date from my garage. When the guys arrive to do that they say "the work order says it is for only one little piece". I thought they were making a joke but they were serious and one of the guys was the same as the first time and makes no attempt to explain to the other guy what happened. They are horrible! The installers were excellent though. It is the office that is disorganized and has zero customer service, I mean zero! There are so many other places to order kitchen counters and who care to do a good job. Save your sanity and avoid these guys! Flor and Decor only take payment and a commission. I told them what happened and they did not even respond. Too bad they use such a poorly operated company for this service. read more

It's unfortunate that there are only 5 stars to give to this business because they deserve at least a perfect 10! I needed to update a local property I have in the metro Denver area and I called around to numerous carpet/tile vendors including Carpet Express, and many of the big box companies including Home Depot and Lowes. No flooring department experts (or even folks chartered to help in these departments) shared as much information, did the background work to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted -- since every laminate flooring company calls their features something different -- and then added the best example of TRUE customer service than the help I received from Floor & Decor. The designer I worked with (Jamie Veloz) was knowledgeable, willing to hear all of my concerns and desires and she led us to the perfect solution at a real value price for my condo re-do. I also appreciated all the individual attention and assistance you get at this Floor & Decor store (because I actually went to another entity as well) from all the associates working the floor. The Stapleton Floor & Decor is beautiful, spacious with a ton of examples and an extensive selection of options. You will be doing yourself an UN-favor to not go and work with these professionals in this beautiful, helpful and cost-effective environment. They have me as customer for life! This is the absolute best place to buy tile. We started at the Arvada store but the selection here was so much greater. Plus the prices can t be beat even compared to Home Depot and Lowe's. Most importantly the customer service is phenomenal. We've come back a number of times to pick up extra tiles, trim etc. Each time someone has been there to help pick items out. But this last time was especially worth mentioning. We needed bullnose tiles to finish the sides and unfortunately they didn't have one to match the wall tiles we'd picked. We were looking at pencil pieces to finish but an employee named Javier (who had previous tiling experience) suggested schluter, a metal piece to finish off the sides. It saved us hundreds to dollars but we still get the look we wanted. Thanks Javier! read more

They knew where we needed to go for what we wanted and mind you the inventory is insane and the store is massive so it was helpful to go right to what we wanted.
