The first is simple and contemporary, the second involved an intricate pattern of colorful tiles forming wall-size images. Sara worked with us on the design, asking many questions to understand our aesthetic aims and practical needs, and offering a variety of options for us to choose among to achieve our goals. She also provided a variety of very effective ideas and solutions, considering the physical constraints of the (relatively small) spaces, to ensure the best use of spaces and to create a very open feel in both bathrooms, all in a cost-effective manner. The actual construction was done in an extremely professional manner by workers who were not only highly-skilled but also friendly, considerate of our needs, and responsive to our questions and concerns as the projects progressed. Particularly impressive, amazing really, was the tile work performed by Cliff. The colorful bathroom involved laying more than 1,000 tiles, and cutting more than 100 tiles to create the intricate design. It also involved the fitting of the many tiles to very close tolerance specifications. Cliff was both masterful and highly conscientious in completing this tile work. The result is stunning. In addition, along the way in both bathrooms, specific questions arose about alternative approaches to implementing features of the design. Cliff identified and raised these questions for us to think about, and he offered aesthetically pleasing solutions. In short, Cliff's work was thoughtful, technically masterful, and informed by his strong sense of aesthetic beauty. We are most impressed by Kitchen and Bath World for their general approach, their implementation, and the final product in renovating both bathrooms. Kitchen and Bath World has our highest recommendation.

I love this place!…read more Ok, let me just say that if you need cabinets, flooring, countertops, doors, sink/faucet, showers, etc. and you are thinking of going to a box store nearby, STOP! Please check this place out first. There is definitely more of a warehouse feel than at Home Depot or Lowe's but the prices are amazing. They will even help you plan your kitchen layout if you are trying to remodel. We bought a countertop, sink, and faucet (and all of the supplies needed) here and saved a lot of money. We are about to buy flooring for our kitchen here. They have a lot of options and even "project idea books" with all their inventory listed so you can take it home and sift through. Summary: Seriously great prices and quality. Don't overlook this place.

I am there at least once a month during heating season and when i am doing renovations on my rental apartments. I don't buy almost anything from Home Depot or Lowes for heating equipment - their constant push for low prices means they have lower quality parts. At Security they stock the brands that the professionals want to use which are usually not the cheapest, but its what you want. Their business is more focused on experienced heating and plumbing professionals, but they are a decent place for a homeowner to go for a question. I have been to Webb a few times for stuff that Security doesn't have and I have been disappointed each time- it is harder for me to get help there and figure out where stuff is. The Security staff is friendlier.

I chose for us the cooking class on dumplings, because who doesn't enjoy dumplings? Our teacher was knowledgeable of the different offerings of the dumpling domain. Our class included perogies, pupusa's, spanakopita, and last but not least an Asian dumpling. While the class was informative, this was an instance of "too many cooks spoil the broth." It is very difficult for 20 some people to rotate from station to station to make the different dumplings and each turn out a professional edible bite. For the most part, the food gave the essence of what it could be. I expect if anyone found the recipes worthwhile they can of course practice at home and hopefully produce an exceptional product. My disappointment was that they give you a 10% discount for any purchases, but alas, the store itself closes when you (the students) sit down to start the class. You get a couple of days after the course to take advantage of this discount. Multiple classes are available every month.
