I…read moream helping an elderly client who literally had to do a bankruptcy after she had water damage and had this company come "repair" the damage. They never finished the job and on top of that had the audacity to charge this senior citizen %18 on work that was never completed. Can't believe this place is still in business. They need to be investigated and closed down so they cannot rip off anyone else!!!!

This company sucks. We had a plumbing issue where a bathtub overflow drain was not watertight and…read morewater poured from our second floor bathroom through the walls down into the basement. This was around September 17, 2020. Mint was really quick to come out and cut open our ceiling and test our walls for moisture. They were great about turning on fans. And then they just became impossible to get a hold of. I talked to Chris, Jared, Kaiden, and Deric. They did great at ripping things apart and assessing the damage. Putting things back together was another story. I never got a quote for patching my drywall and fixing the damage. They did, however, send me a bill for $2864 on November 9 for cutting a hole in my ceiling and running their fans. If I relied on Mint, the hole would still be there. We finally got someone else to fix it. The reason I am posting a review almost a year later is because we had a completely unrelated water leak in a different part of the house and there was no way I would use Mint this time around.

!!!WARNING!!!…read more DISHONEST AND IMCOMPETENT!!!! MY FAMILY WAS SWINDLED!!! MASSIVE FINANCIAL LOSS!!! WARNING!!! DO NOT USE: Superior Water Restoration - Dallin Denbore Our family home had the basement flooded. Dallin Denbore and his team came in and made a lot of promises, and we were taken advantage of! We lost tens of thousands of dollars! We were left with an unfinished clean-up job, and no plan or funding for a rebuild, as was promised. My family was up to its ankles in water, and Dallin Denbore came rushing in, without an estimate, and told us he had lots of experience in handling home-owners insurance claims, and that he would take care of the paper work. Dallin DID NOT check the terms of our insurance, nor did he give us ANY idea of a project estimate. He repeatedly said "do not worry, your insurance will cover this all", as he ran up a bill of Later, when the insurance claim did not work out, his crew halted work IMMEDIATELY. We were left with two massive storage containers with all our things in them in our driveway, unfinished clean-up in our basement, and a demand to be paid. Dallin EVEN HAD THE AUDACITY to send my family a bill the INCLUDED our damaged things that were on a list to be part of an insurance claim...HE SENT US THE BILL HE INTENDED TO SEND TO OUR INSURANCE COMPANY!!! My family paid him the small amount we received from the insurance policy, and even added more, as a compromise, a very reasonable portion of his bill. He took the check, and for 6-8 months, it appeared to be settled. UNBELIEVABLY, Dallin Denbore contacted my family for MORE money, and threatened to take us to court if we did pay up. IMCOMPETENCY & DISHONESTY!!! MY FAMILY WAS MASSIVELY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!! !!!DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! !!!DALLIN DENBORE CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!! East Millcreek, Utah

I had to call them the next day to come and remove their fans, then they lied and said they tried to contact me to pick them. This company is not organized, or honest. Customer service doesn't know what they are doing either. Thomas Scott and Ashley should be ashamed, I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business bureau Do not use SERVEPRO of UTAH COUNTY

BUYER BEWARE These…read moreguys are TERRIBLE. The whole construction industry is bad but this is the worst I have ever experienced. They have taken over two months for a simple repair and it still is not done. They overcharged so much that our insurance company is refusing to pay. And they won't itemize their extreme ($8k for one bathroom demo) charge so that our insurance company could help with something. Beyond that, there is ZERO accountability. I have had to use a spreadsheet to try to keep track of the situation, but the bottom line is that Expert Restoration hired a guy named Miles who promised it would be done in 10 days. That guy hired a guy named Austin who hired another guy named Josh who has taken an additional month. And of course they always say that it is almost done to discourage me from starting over with a new contractor. Their lack of communication skills adds insult to injury. They dodge calls, hang up when they accidentally answer, and everyone's voicemail is always full. When they run into an issue they just stop working instead of telling us about the issue so we can figure it out. All in all it has been a *horrible* experience. If I could get reimbursed for the time I have wasted trying to track these guys down it might be worth as much as their exorbitant bill. UPDATE: They finally finished and the quality is so bad that I am having to pay to have it re-done by someone else. They charged us about $15k total for one day of labor and about $600 worth of supplies retail (they just bought a cheap bathroom vanity from Home Depot and threw it in there even though it did not fit the space at all. Also it was particle board instead of wood, and plastic instead of tile.) And they didn't even let me choose the flooring and they put in this hideous piece of vinyl that apparently has been sitting around since the 1970s. Stay as far away from that guy Miles as you possibly can. It has been a complete nightmare for me and my tenants.

Cross posted from Google;…read more Dan, in response to your follow up, To force BLANK documents on anyone is not a hic up so much as I assume a regular practice in your firm. This is inappropriate and I assume not legal. To learn of charges against my insurance company for services not rendered seems criminal. Cross posting to YELP where I see your ratings are lower. Now to learn from my insurance company that this Service Master Location added charges to the invoice for services not rendered. These guys are the gift that keeps giving. Sadly, accuracy and quality ended with the first visit. It was requested of me by the owner of the company (Dan) and Robbie that I sign a completion document, all fields completely BLANK? Additionally, once filled in, the ability to review the "ENTIRE" statement placed in each field on their computer is not possible. One entered statement related to the "REQUIRED DAILY VISIT" to the property was totally falsified to state that I, the owner was either not available or able to gain/provide access daily. As I was never informed of said policy I absolutely would not sign as stated much to the dismay of Dan and Robbie. From the beginning, as the landlord I let them and everyone know of the challenges accessing the property and that each entry would require an appointment and my presence. NEVER SIGN a BLANK document! It "may" be illegal for them to ask you too! As this was the first faze, demolition/tear out involving water damage, "Quality" will be determined upon completion of full restoration including construction/paint/carpet install. Ryan & TJ, Timely, hard working and detail oriented. I would hire them any time. 1 Response from the ownera week ago Hi Steve - Im sorry to hear your experience wasn't satisfactory. The documentation we had you sign was was a requirement of your insurance carrier. As preferred provider we are obligated to have customers fill out carrier specific documentation. Sometimes there are hiccups with paperless documents. When you expressed your concern we manually filled in the blank parts, then you signed. every document you signed is always available for your review from your insurance company. Again I apologize we did everything in our power to address your very specific needs.
