After years of going to other optometrists, I've always felt as if my appointments were time-restricted and rushed. Although other optometrists get the job done, the eye doctors at For Eyes Optometry have that extra spunk that make their practice so welcoming and alluring. The "more than satisfactory" feeling is what you get when you receive a warm welcome followed by an eye exam with doctors who are more than willing to help and advise. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Justin Wong for my appointments. Dr. Wong is a very kind, admirable doctor, there's no question why he is very well-respected by the friendly staff and patients. Dr. Wong is very knowledgeable in the field of optometry and ensures his patients are thoroughly examined; and when I say thorough, like really thorough with all patient questions addressed. As intellectual as he is, he is also very humble and thoughtfully addresses the concerns of his patients. As a student and aspiring health professional, I am eager to interact with all the doctors I encounter, so if you can imagine the questions I had regarding a profession in optometry; sadly, I cannot say this about many optometrists I have encountered, BUT Dr. Justin Wong and Dr. Hannah Cho are so INSIGHTFUL and are SINCERELY willing to not only examine the health of our eyes, but also support their patients in any way capable. I understand the concerns about whether to be seen by Dr. Cho vs. Dr. Wong vs. other optometrists, all I can say with my experience is, BOTH Dr. Cho and Dr. Wong are great at what they do. So if your appointment happens to fall on a date with one of the For Eyes optometrists, it won't matter which doctor you see because both doctors put patients first and I am confident your concerns will be respectfully addressed. The extra "spunk" is knowing your optometrist is not just there to do his/her job, but that their passion for what they do clearly reflects through their supportive staff and patient satisfaction. read more

I recently visited Floe for a contact fitting and had a rather frustrating encounter with one of their staff members, Liz. While my experience with Dr. Wong was positive, Liz's approach left much to be desired. When I called to inquire about the price for a contact fitting, I was given a firm quote over the phone. However, upon arriving at the center, Liz initially hesitated to honor the quoted price, despite assuring me that they would. She stated that the person i spoke to was the intern and she informed me incorrectly. This inconsistency left me feeling uneasy about the situation. During the checkout process, Liz seemed overly eager to tell the nice lady who checked me out that I had a stigmatism and attempted to have the girls charge me more for additional services. I knew I didn't have astigmatism, and it was frustrating to have someone persistently push for unnecessary expenses, contradicting what I was initially informed. To make matters worse, Liz's insistence on increasing the charges came across as money-focused and lacking in genuine concern for my needs. It seemed like she was more interested in upselling rather than ensuring an honest and fair transaction. On a positive note, the girl who eventually checked me out was professional and provided the correct price. The rest of the staff, including Dr. Wong, were friendly and bid me farewell courteously. However, Liz's behavior at the end of my visit left a sour taste in my mouth, as she seemed visibly displeased that she couldn't convince me to spend more. Overall, my experience with FLOE was marred by Liz's misleading practices and persistent attempts to inflate the charges. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure a more transparent and customer-oriented approach in the future. I don't see myself returning here in the future. read more

Needed to find an optometrist to get my vision checked, as well as to see if there was any internal bleeding still going on (was bleeding behind my eye two years ago from high blood pressure). As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted warmly by her receptionist. Not long after, Dr. Cho came out introduced herself and took me back to her exam room. She asked about my medical history that could effect my vision. Told her about my long and complicated health problems two years ago, and was quick to offer advise and suggestions. She offered a more comprehensive exam, dilating my eyes to see what's going on. She told me that one of my blood vessel was pressing down on top of a vein, which no other optometrist or opthamologist ever found or told me before. She said it was fine at the moment, but if my blood pressure went up again, the same problem that happened before could happen again. She said we'll keep a close eye out for it. I got worried for a minute, but right when she said that we'll keep an eye out, I felt safe, that it wasn't just my problem, but our problem. I felt she really did care about my vision and health. Overall, I felt comfortable, relaxed, and satisfied. They also have great selection of frames as well. The receptionist helped my pick out these really cute frames. Would definitely recommend Dr. Cho to anyone!!!!! read more

Dr. Chiu and Dr. Wong have supported me through several emergency situations with unwavering professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern for my well-being. It's rare to find doctors who not only provide excellent care but also treat you like family. The staff is equally impressive - always warm, welcoming, and helpful. From start to finish, every experience at this clinic has been positive and reassuring. Nice and friendly staff that were super helpful. Dr. Wong did my eye exam and contact fitting. He suggested a new brand of contacts for me because my old ones were always ripping on me (sometimes even on the first day of wear), and i like the new ones he gave me a lot better! He was really thorough in the eye exam as well, taking the time to explain everything that was going on and answering all my questions. I also got a pair of new glasses and their glasses selection is awesome, there were so many to choose from and I'm so happy with my new glasses :] read more

Dr. CHO is a phenomenal optometrist. So far, I've been to her about 6 times. She is so present and focused and skilled. She is amazing, very invested, and authentic. So many healthcare providers are on autopilot going through the typical tests and procedures. You could be anyone in the chair. Dr. CHO makes me feel like an individual in the chair, asking questions that make it clear there are so many personal factors that impact one's eyes and function. The staff had followed up and called me asking if I was satisfied with my lens. The service was well done. I could try the glasses and she adjusted my glasses for me. The staff was nice and efficient. She guaranteed me that if the glasses did not fit or if I broke it, I could replace it for free one time. There were many glasses selections that were paid fully by the insurance (w/o copay) unlike many other optometrists places I went to that only had 1 or 2 glasses to try. read more

Best medical office of any kind I have ever gone to. The staff was friendly and helpful. They offered water while I waited... who does that anymore? Dr. Cho's office does! Dr. Cho herself was so caring and thoughtful with the examinations. She was thorough and personable. I had been looking for a really good eye doctor, and finally I found Dr. Cho. She and her team are very professional, accommodating and friendly. It's been always so hard for me to get right glasses because of my bad astigmatism and on top of that, I needed progressive glasses for my reading as I aged.
