I was able to get an updated prescription here and they were awesome. Prices were reasonable and they switched out my old frames with new lenses. So I got 2 new pairs of glasses basically. I picked up my new pair and then they called me when my old frames/new lenses were available. I had switched jobs so I wasn't as close as before so it was tough for me to go get them. I left my glasses there for like months. No kidding, like 6 months lol. But when I called a couple weeks ago, they still had them! Great service. read more

I had unfortunately hurt my eye and was searching for an optometrist to see me urgently on a Saturday. I called, and was greeted by a lovely receptionist who said they can squeeze me in due to the emergency. I felt so lucky to get in with someone on such short notice. I reached the office and was seen promptly by the doctor who confirmed I had scratched my cornea. Not only did she write up my prescription, but she walked me to the pharmacist, waited for the prescription and administered my first dose. What a lovely person she is and a fantastic office. My wife came here for her eye exam a few weeks back, she had previously been to 2 other optometries in Irvine, LensCrafters and another local office which I will not name. Dr. Cho was very knowledgable and nice and we cannot recommend her enough. I will definitely be coming here for my next eye exam as well. Our kids were with us to for my wife's appointment and were making themselves 'at home' in the doctor's office and I was worried they might be a distraction to Dr. Cho, but she didn't make any mention of it and was also super nice to them. I had an appointment last week with Dr. Cho. The office was very clean and well kept. Her office staff was great and very pleasurable. Dr. Cho's intern was very knowledgable and incredibly sweet. Dr. Cho examined my eyes and answered all my questions. She gave me a lot of helpful information and made me feel very comfortable. She was very personable and made every effort to connect with me personally. There was never a point where I was uncomfortable (which happens a lot when you are at doctors). I've been suffering from severe dry eye for a few years now. What I really liked about Dr. Wong was that he didn't just prescribe dry eye eye drops (like all the other doctors I've seen before), but suggested other lifestyle-based treatments (e.g., drink more water, take fish oil, consider possibility of allergies, etc.). He also suggested trying out a different type/brand of contacts. It's only been about a week since I made these changes and my eyes already feel much better! read more

We took our son to see Dr. Cho after receiving a referral from his pediatrician. And we had a great experience there. Dr. Cho was great with our son, helped him understand what she was doing and made him feel comfortable before doing anything. Had my prescription glasses over 5 years with me and the time came to change them not because of some kind of discomfort but the frames itself were getting old . Looked up on Yelp and found this guys on the way back from shopping I visited them first time but couldn't get my eyes checked since they informed me that I had to make an appointment . Attentive front desk staff handed me the Ipad to make to fill put needed info and make made and appointment the following day . Alright I don't have much experience with Optometry visits since I only been couple times in my whole life checking my eyes ( only wearing glasses 5 years ) and those couple times were Costco Optometry . Even though I don't have a lot to compare I felt very comfortable with my visit to For Eyes Optometry . I'm very happy that I chose them since the staff and Dr took their time making sure they check my eyes in every aspect . At the end of the exam I chose 2 new frames of Ray Ban ( 1 regular , 1 sun glasses both with prescribed lenses ) . I had been putting off an overdue eye exam, because I dislike any type of examination. During a Yelp search, I came across favorable reviews for Floe Optometry and decided to make an appointment. I'm so glad I did. My experience at Floe Optometry was excellent! First of all, the office is welcoming, bright and I noted an great selection of quality frames which have various price points. Upon checking in, I met Aline, Optometric Assistant. I was asked to complete a questionnaire, and appreciated how attentive Aline was while reviewing the answers with me for accuracy. Dr. Wong performed the eye exam. I found him to be professional, patient and didn't hesitate to take the time to explain any questions. During the exam, I felt quite relaxed and at ease. As for picking frames, I had the most fun ever in choosing frames with two AWESOME ladies - Meaghan, Office Manager and Daisy, Optometric Intern Supervisor. At previous optometry offices, I dreaded picking frames, because I would end up with eyeglasses that were just okay. But, Meaghan and Daisy were so willing to offer their time to assist me in choosing frames I would truly enjoy wearing. Lastly, I was impressed that I had glasses ready for pick up the same week of my exam ... love them, Daisy and Meaghan! Hanna Cho and the entire For Eyes staff are excellent. -- Excellent because I called them on Monday and got an appointment on Tuesday, the next day. This contrasts sharply with the office I last visited 2 1/2 years ago. It used to take several months to get an appointment. -- Excellent because when I called and told the receptionist that my HMO offers a free eye exam every year, she knew exactly what I needed - a free health exam with no copay. This contrasts sharply with the response I got from the Optometry Office that my provider, Secure Horizons, recommended to me. That office, which I will not name, didn't think that they handled HMO's at all and told me I had no vision insurance because they could not find my name or SS# on vision insurance sites such as EyeMed. -- Excellent because the appointment was on time and the office was not crowded. This contrasts sharply with my last vision doctor, whose office was always packed with about 20 people and wait times were long. -- Excellent because there was no time to drink the cup of coffee that the receptionist made for me. Instead, I took it into the appointment and drank it during the 15 minute wait for the eye drops to take effect. -- Excellent because the info that Hanna Cho gave me was consistent with that of my last eye doctor. Also, even though the free exam does not include a prescription, they do tell you enough about your current vision so that you can decide if you need a prescription. My decision was easy - my eyes had not changed in 2 1/2 years and therefore I did not need a prescription. read more
