3:00 p.m-4:00 p.m for years I wanted to try flotation, there was no way I could remember to try flotation. I made it nice to float I removed all the perceptions, and pre-conceavied notions of the way things were pertaining to flotation and went with the whole steam room approach, which faired quite well, very few hallucinations or pre-fixed patters of how things were or are, the way things will be had a predefined direction, which I worked with in correcting, once that was at peace, I found my center and expressed what it was that I was all about, ie: I showed that I just wanted to 'be' and from that options were given in which I had to both work with the allies brought to my attention and find my place in relation to what was perceived. I had a several people that were brought to my attention during flotation which were only there as allies that needed help and direction themselves.
After my hour was over a light came on signaling that my flotation process was over. I went home feeling refreshed and complete. To my amazement, Everything fell into place. Which was strange to me because my journey to flotation was very directed like on a red carpet, Or something along those lines. I was a baby that when I was born I was submerged in water to replicate being in the womb. It ended up giving me ear an infection and urinary track infection. My fever was over 100. The doctors suggested I receive a spinal tap in hopes to bring my fever down. I still have the mark on my pinky from where they put in the needle to make sure that I would not die from the spinal tap.
I bring this up because, Flotation for me was a lot like being born, and put into the water because, that feeling of being, that remission of fear, within the flotation tank, after years of listening to independent artists and their journeys with flotation. I came to the understanding, that flotation is the means of survival but not due to peoples evolution alone, but because of mammals in general. You think of a whale, you think of free willy. That's a killer whale. Killer whales are, in general, a lesser mammal in relation to people. These species of mammal are closer to herbivores then say a balloga whale, or a larger whale. When it comes to people, it is as if mammals were once people. With that cosmic memory even a dolphin could share an entire humans life experience with one simple flotation experience. Can't wait to float again. read more
