I have had a back pain for years. I had regular therapies, massages, etc. I used a brace. Sometimes, I had to stay in bed for a day. Dr. Lee, solved it! After a thorough assessment and explanation, he did the right adjustments. This adjustments were supported with physical exercises to strength my muscles. Phyllis, the office manager is also very helpful. I am very thankful to Dr. Lee forever. read more

I was introduced to this place via a Groupon purchase. I bought the massage, x-ray with analysis, and hour explanation of findings bundle for a super low price. I thought it'd be a nice way to introduce myself to chiropractic and see what the professionals in this field could offer. I've heard about the many benefits of chiropractic especially in those who are active. So I was like "hey why not, let's try it out." The first session was the hour massage. I had the opportunity to be served by Jan. One of the nicest and friendliest masseuse ever. She creates an inviting and comfortable environment that allows you to destress physically and mentally. Second session was with Dr. Lee, where he completes a full analysis of your posture/bone structure/range of motion via different motions and x-ray. From this session alone, I was able to pick up on how thorough, knowledgeable, and personable he is. He explains everything in a way where it's easy to understand and genuinely cares. The third session was an hour long explanation of his findings. Once again, very thorough with explanation and pictures/models to demonstrate his findings. I was sold from the second session. I've been receiving treatment from him for a few weeks now and I can definitely feel the difference in my range of motion and function. I move more freely and painlessly. Not only does he tell you about chiropractic topics, but he can talk to you about anything. He's knowledgeable about everything - vitamins, seafood, sports, you name it. As many other reviews on this business, I'm giving it a 1, because that's the lowest that Yelp will allow. If I could I would give it a 0. I can see why this business uses Groupon. I bought a very cheap ($24) 60 minute massage. Clearly they are struggling and it's not surprising as to why. I have frequently become a customer of other Groupon using businesses but not ever again with this place. I have gotten numerous massages throughout my life, and have never had an issue with a massage therapist not being able to accommodate my comfort level - both in terms of clothing removal or body parts massaged. I made an appt to get my 60 minute massage. I was unfortunately about 8 minutes late, despite leaving with more than enough time to get to Schaumburg where this place is from my house. I'm sorry I was 8 minutes late, it is my fault and I would have been fine if they cut the massage short by 8 minutes. However that' life and it happens. When I walked in, I didn't see customers, it seemed empty. The front desk person - apparently her name is Phyllis? gave me a form to fill out, which took me minimal time to complete. This is where the unprofessionalism started. I overhead one of the employees (not sure if it was the massage therapist or someone else) say - was she late? And Phyllis respond, "Yes, first time client" or something of the sort. And the other person said, I kid you not, "Shit." Wow. For anyone who works in any service type industry, unfortunately while it's the business' right to cut the service short if a customer is late (for a 60 minute massage, it would have been just fine if they did 50 or 45 or whatever to accommodate my 8 minute lateness), but to make such a comment over a new customer being late by a few minutes is simply ghastly. There is a big yellow statement on the form stating how tips are expected because they typically charge $80 for their massage but they are deeply discounted as they are "trying to meet new clients." Tipping is not an issue as long as the service is appropriate. Everyone has a bad day so I figured I'd be kind and forge ahead. I asked if they had a bathroom, then comes the massage therapist and tells me she will show me where it is. Fine no worries. Then she asks me if I have ever had a massage, I tell her yes I have, and she tells me that I have to take my clothes off, and lay face down on the table. Because of my comfort level, I keep my pants and underwear on. I have NEVER EVER EVER had a massage therapist who had an issue with this, and who would insist otherwise. In fact at most massage places they tell you to "dress down to your comfort level" (which taking my pants off would not be comfortable for me!! and I have every right to keep my pants on if I so choose!). The massage therapist comes back and says no, you have to take your pants off. I say no, I don't feel comfortable with that, I will keep them on. She says in a forceful way, no! WTH? What massage therapist would try to force you to take clothes off when you don't feel comfortable? She says this is a whole body massage, I tell her my main problem areas are the back and neck, and I have had massages done this way with no massage therapist ever giving me any issue and accommodating my needs. She tells me in a forceful way, "Scoot down!" I didn't quite understand what she meant, as my face was exactly on the face pillow, and she literally pushed my body down! I was like WTH?! It's very easy for her to instead of just doing "whole body" as she claims to simply focus on the back, neck, etc without making it a big deal. I asked her - so are you refusing then to simply focus on those areas I indicated? She says I'm going to the front desk. I tell her, I'm simply leaving. Who knows what this aggressive woman would have done to me had I stayed. Then she tells me "You are losing Groupon." I said no I will talk to Groupon, you refused to provide me with the service. I even talked to my husband who also regularly gets massages at a different Chiro place (that doesn't have any appts until like January) and he was shocked. I have NEVER had a massage therapist refuse to accommodate my comfort level with clothing, including keeping my pants on, or trying to force me to touch and massage areas I'm not comfortable with. Her aggressive and disrespectful demeanor was absolutely shocking. I would NEVER EVER EVER go back to this dump. As others have said also, the place is super loud! The massage room is a tiny place right next to the chiropractic area, and you can hear all the conversations. Who wants a massage like that?! I guess they don't have enough funds to even cover music, and they play music from YouTube on a computer. Per another poster, the computer has a camera. Who knows what these people are doing. It is obvious that they are struggling financially. Why was the massage therapist so forceful in me taking my clothes off? I felt super violated and unsafe. Never again. read more

Dr. Lee has been ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! My 7 yo son has complained of neck pain on and off for three years. His PCP said it was nothing and to not worry about it. Went here for a neurological body massage, which included EMG (which is a scan of the muscles in your back to see where the tension lies). I was amazed since the machine lit up like a Christmas tree when it got to the hot spots of where I was aching. The next step was to stand on a platform while the Dr took measurements of my alignment. What I didn't realize was this platform held two scales underneath me-and that I shifted 7lbs of my body weight on my left side! No wonder my lower back kills all the time. Massage was nice-similar to a Swedish massage to me. This was my first experience with chiropractic-I'm already scheduled to go back for an assessment with Dr Lee. He's an excellent chiropractor and answers all your questions in way you can understand and takes the time to listen to what you want to take away from your appointment. I purchased a Living Social voucher for this place to get a back pain assessment and 60-min. massage. On the way to my appointment, I had some car issues as well as got stuck in traffic, and therefore was late to my appointment. I called to notify them (they didn't answer, they rarely do), when they called me back they seemed fine with me being late. When I got there, I was informed I would only be getting a 30-min. massage as I was 30 min. late, and I couldn't reschedule, period. I didn't even get the back assessment because "I was late". The massage I did get was wonderful, but my room didn't prevent me from hearing everything going on in the office. I felt like anyone at any time could walk in. This was my first time getting a professional massage, as well as going to a chiropractor's office. I understand not backing up the schedule with other patients, but why couldn't I reschedule?? I purchased a Groupon for a back assessment and Massage. I am still not sure how I feel about the back assessment because mine seemed to be all over the place. Pro: The massage done by Alejandra (I think) was excellent! She is the best I have found out here so far. She found my knots and released a lot of stress. Major Con: The massage was done in a front massage room with a paper thin wall. Adjustments and patients talking about their day, their body, and their lives were happening right outside the room. While the massage was good for my muscles, the ambiance was horrible and not relaxing at all. I could hear banging and conversations the entire time. If you decide to go here, make sure to ask for a quiet room if you want relaxation as part of your massage. read more

She responded *deep breath, "I'm on the other line (took my info) I'll call you back". Wednesday comes along, I attempt to make appt again as I never heard back. I called on Monday 12/15 and was told in an annoyed voice that the lady would get back to me when she could - there were too many calls coming in. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - no response to my calls/no phones answered. I finally get hold of the lady and she tells me that she won't be able to help me until the end of January/early February. I purchased a massage of groupon, called and got a appointment for 3 days later, So scheduling was not an issue. When I got there she showed me how one hips higher and one foots caring more weight which was cool. The massage was the best one of my life and closest thing to being on drugs since I gave them up years ago. She even gets your hands, face, and head! The few down falls are I wish she would have asked if I had any places that where troublesome because she barley worked on my neck and it's really tight. Also you could hear the chiro talking and adjusting but wasn't to bad and thankfully he only had one patient. She paid attention to the issues I pointed out and got me prepared for my 70.3 triathlon that weekend. I'll be honest, I havent even been to this place yet.. I got a lving social for Christmas, I waited a bit to schedule, as I just got busy. I called in Mid April, expecting to have to wait a few weeks a I have a tight schedule. I was not able to get until 06/29. Just received a call from the receptionist that the massage therapist had quit, and she would have to reschedule. I explained that I had already waited over 2 months, and she said she would try to fine me something ASAP. Apparently ASAP in this place in another 4 weeks... Absolutely ridiculous. Only place I've been to that truly honors their 60 minute massage AFTER postural analysis not included. Lacking a little pressure but of course that's adjustable -- just tell the therapist. I received an awesome massage from Stephanie ... not clinical how I usually prefer it because I have a really tight left hip but regardless she was able to massage deeply enough and with good technique that I felt very relaxed afterwards and in control of my muscles... so much so that I am able to hold my posture in place like I just got an adjustment except accompanied by relaxed muscles. read more

Had a terrible experience at this facility. Diane massage therapist who I just told I had a back surgery so she needed to be easy. I don't think she understood what I meant. She was very rough. When I left I felt like I was beat up. I woke up the next day in a lot of pain. My sciatica which went away is now back. It took me several years to get rid of it. This office took two weeks to get back to me. He thought maybe it would go away which it didn't. I passed out at work from the back pain and was rushed to the hospital. I made him take x-rays to see if there was any damage. They were blurry. My orthopod said they were terrible. They held my x-rays hostage. They wouldn't give them to me until I signed a will not sue paper. Talk about guilty. Stay away from this office. Receptionist was very rude each time. She told me I had a fabulous massage. How would she know she wasn't even there.They made every excuse in the book. Do yourself a favor and go to a physical therapist. read more

I bought a groupon on 12/8 and called to make an appointment the following day. Got in at 12/15 for a massage with Viola,Soooo good. She worked so hard to get my back feeling good again that I didn't even notice noise next door. The massage table is heated witch feels so good and the sheets ware super soft (might be a minor detail to some but I appreciate things like that) anyway the office is just like any other chiropractors office so I don't see any point to complain here. I am not someone who typically complains; however, I decided to create a Yelp account to write about my experience here. PROS: The massage itself was fairly good. I would give it a 7/10. The massage therapist was kind and responsive. The office appeared clean. CONS: This was the loudest office I have ever been to. Ever. The chiropractor does his work in the hallway outside of the massage room, and uses some technique that sounds like a jackhammer at a construction site. He had a constant stream of clients, so every few minutes the noise would begin again. At one point, I heard either him or his client say "I feel sorry for whoever is getting a massage now" (regarding the noise level). While I can typically tune out noise, this was just too much. As I approached the desk to get my Groupon redeemed, I asked the receptionist about the noise level. She said that I should have expected it, given the chiropractic atmosphere. I have been to other chiropractors' offices for massages, and never experienced anything similar. I asked her if she would put a disclaimer on the website telling people to expect the noise, and she laughed me away, saying "people line up to come here." She was quite rude, so I just left. I got my Groupon money back. This place just isn't worth it, no matter how cheap they sell their massages on Groupon or LivingSocial. read more

About a week ago she was with me when she made an appointment . This morning we were running few min late and I told her to call receptionist and let them know we will be there shortly . When she called they didn't have her in the computer but they found her on the books , but my daughters name was erased and somebody else had the appointment instead . So they told her she should not come and get her money back on Groupon . When I called them the receptionist was laughing about it , and told me " it happens " . I said since my daughter was first on the books can't they make her a priority anyway and she said no and laughs again . Well it's not funny ! Iv never seen such bad customer service and no , don't trust this place ! They called my daughter just a few min later and told them to email them her Groupon number so they can redeem it themselves and there is a better chance they will give her her money back . I had a voucher for a massage and neurological assessment. The massage was mediocre. I prefer therapeutic massages because the therapist can target certain areas. I mentioned to Vanina that I had certain areas of pain, and that I'd like her to hit various trigger points. She didn't respond. Later during the massage I told her she should use more pressure. She didn't respond. This really wasn't any different from any relaxation massage I could have gotten at a spa. Meh. The place was horribly noisy, too. The massage room is adjacent to the chiropractic treatment area. Throughout my massage I heard lots of laughter and talking, as well as the "banging" of the chiropractic table. I'm not planning on going back. I'm still on my hunt for a clinic with a fantastic massage therapist who provides outstanding therapeutic massages. read more

The absolute worst. Phillis is a sweet lady on the phone but has terrible customer service skills. I was told that I could only make an appointment 8 weeks in advance and then never got a follow up call or a confirmation. The absolute worst. Dont waste your money. Phillis should be fired. I am writing to complain because my experience here was so unpleasant. The massage was fairly good. Upon leaving the office, I was told by Phyllis, the front desk manager, that I needed to tip the massage therapist. So, I did. Phyllis actually made a comment out loud that my tip amount was not enough. This is soo incredibly rude and unprofessional on many levels. I called back and spoke to Phyllis. She justified her actions and did not apologize. When I complained further, she stated that she would give me a voucher for a free massage within 2 days but I never received that voucher via email as discussed. How incredibly disappointing! I never leave bad reviews. I always take reviews online with a grain of salt, but this was truly one of the worst customer service experiences (and I have had some HORRIBLE ones) that I have ever had. I work on my feet 12 - 18 hours a day running around. I need a massage desperately, and bought my groupon on March 3rd. I think I called to set up my appointment about a week later. I was promptly told she had 5 other people to call and book before me, and she would call me once they were booked. I thought that was weird, but okay. She calls me back and I ask for an evening or weekend appointment. She said we don't do weekends and are only open until 6. That is NOWHERE on their groupon. It is on their website under the contact page. Ok - sorry I didn't do more research. The woman on the phone was so rude about it. I tried to book early March and she got me a 5:30pm appointment for APRIL 25th. Okay. 2 months later. I booked it on groupon, so I guess what do I expect. Oh well. It was only $22. April 25th rolls around and I will admit I TOTALLY forgot about it. It was on my calendar - but I was sent to go onsite for an event that wasn't on my calendar TWO MONTHS AGO when I booked. The same receptionist (manager? - I hope not) called to ask where I was. Total disclaimer, I FORGOT. MY FAULT. I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. That being said she was SO awful. She chastised me for the fact that her "girls" wait around and now they don't get paid. Which, I totally understand that they make their money by providing services. I am a complete jerk for missing my appointment. That being said. The receptionist should NEVER speak to customers that way. EVER. I asked if I could re book. Flat out "NO". A better response is: "Unfortunately we require a 24 hour cancellation policy and your groupon is no longer valid. Would you be interested in hearing our other prices and availability? Are you interested in any other services we provide other than just massage?" Which, I really need a chiropractor too. So that would have been nice. Instead of "NO". I proceeded to tell her that her customer service was unacceptable, and she said "EXCUSE ME" and proceeded to berate me and explain how the massage therapists make their money. I know. I know how they make their money - I WAS A JERK and LIFE happened. Which, I would have tipped $50.00 on my groupon too - because THAT'S WHY I BOOK GROUPONS. That and to try and get what is a seemingly struggling business some more business. I am a customer (well, now I never will be), and I will NOT be spoken to this way. Also, is there a reason you do not do a 24 hour reminder appointment? Especially for an appointment booked TWO MONTHS AGO? Those are super helpful, and had I gotten one (like my dermatologist, old massage therapist back home, old chiropractor, normal therapist, hair stylist, and car dealership do), I would have canceled IMMEDIATELY, and you could have had 24 hrs to fill my appointment. My money is green guys, and I am super loyal. Had you helped me re-book, I would have loved to tip the therapist who waited on me for my error, so please apologize to her for me and for you.
