    Inside of personal chamber
    Kris A.

Oh wow!! I went here before so I kind of new what to expect, but either way his place is AWESOME!! Trust me, you feel so free and relaxed like never before. When you step in, it's like warm and has a ton of epsom salt in there. Don't worry if you can't swim like me, because the salt water will keep you floating for as long you are in there. This time my boyfriend and I did it for 90 minutes. You get your own chamber to yourself. Make sure you don't swallow the salt water at all. There were a few times I had to wash the salt water out my eyes. After your float you get 5 MINUTES to wash off and clean up. If you're black or a mixed chick like me you'll need to prep your hair wash time with your float lol. I was supposed to float for 90 minutes but I shaved off 20 for hair care. I took a bag with gym essentials (extra underwear, change of clothes, deodorant, hair care stuff, face wash, and bathing suit bottom). You can float naked if you want, but my lady bits below are sensitive so just to be sure I wore a bikini bottom lol. You can schedule a massage with your float ahead of time if you'd like to add that with it. It's quite the experience!! Please try it! I'm sure you will LOVE it.

Staff is pleasant and provided adequate information as it was my first time experiencing this type of treatment. I regularly receive massage and sound therapy. I also live in south Florida and have daily access to a salt water pool and the ocean so perhaps this wasn't the right service for me. The silence inside the chamber felt unnatural. I prefer the sound of waves, seagulls or relaxing music. I left the water chamber after less than 10 minutes and opted to wait for my massage in the reception area. The visit was a birthday gift and selected based on reviews and images from website. The images on the site are false advertising and clearly photo shopped. I took photos of the float chamber and reception area. There is rust in the shower area and float Chamber. Paint is peeling from the doors and the ceiling. The ceiling also has water spots. The odor inside the Chamber was musty and unbearable. It also didn't look particularly clean. When I arrived, I noticed the facility itself had an odd, musty odor. Perhaps it's due to the float therapy and being wet much of the time. There is tea and water available with refined white sugar. I suggested that they might also offer more natural sweetness as they are a "wellness center."

Float tips! Definitely put the ear plugs in before showering

Wow what an incredibly relaxing experience! I had my first float at FLO2. I bought a "3 float" groupon wanting to see if sensory deprivation lived up to the hype, and it did!! FLO2 is in the heart of Little 5 right across from Vortex. There's free parking in the back which is convenient considering how difficult it can be to find parking in Little 5. During my first float, I didn't what to expect or experience, so I was probably a little anxious. The temperature of the water was warm and perfect. I shifted around a lot and had trouble letting go and relaxing until close to the end of my session. On my second float, after knowing what to expect, I was able to let go within a few minutes. My racing mind went clear and I was totally carefree - not worrying about emails, texts, news, anything. I could focus on anything but chose not to, and it was refreshing. After my float, my body and mind felt lighter, relaxed, and more carefree. I can't wait for my next float session and I highly recommend trying it!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I did relax to a certain degree but because it just didn't look clean I was uncomfortable. In addition the low ceiling are not good if you're over 5'5, I'm 5'11 and had to bend down the entire time including in the bathroom. The towels are dingy and looked dirty and there are certainty areas that need some maintenance and attention. Will not be going back

First time trying float in for relaxation. Been thinking about it for a while so I gave it a try. The place was easy to find. Once inside it is a low ceiling and somewhat dark. The guy at the desk was helpful walked me through the whole process. I chose to use one of the chambers. After showering getting in and comfortable it took a little to relax. Even with the ear plugs you can hear outside noises I don't know if it was the pipes or the establishment above since they were on a lower level. Float went well. Some things there are a little run down and look like they need some tlc and cleaning would make it better. Didn't see any mildew like others said. Would come back again and maybe try another chamber or the oasis tank.

So I was in town with time to kill, super stressed, and needed to relax. My trip to this business was not planned at all. I did the ionic foot detox and the 90 minute float session. My total was about $120 for the services. Being completely honest, I feel like the ionic foot detox was a waste. I did not know the purpose or benefit and neither did the employee assisting me. I didn't know what to expect. I sat with my feet in a foot bath for 30 minutes while this machine did something which caused the water to change. I can say it was relaxing to just sit and do nothing. The float session was amazing. They explained that I had to rinse off beforehand, gave me some moldable ear plugs, and explained to me other intricacies about my experience. I had such a good, relaxing time. It was just me and my thoughts uninterrupted. I tried to closing the door to heighten the experience but my nerves were too bad to do it. That part scared me so I left the door open and closed my eyes. Floating in the water was a weirdly peaceful experience. I was so pleased my time. If I am in Atlanta I will definitely go again. Hell, I want one in my home. I completely recommend this business and service

Hands down the beat Float Tanks in the Atlanta area! Amazing and helpful staff. One of the best Float experiences I have ever had. I am a professional athlete and I Float to help recover and shut down my mind for a bit with my stressful work weeks of rigorous training and racing. I highly recommend every one vibe floating a try. From the everyday person that works all week to people hitting the gym a few days a week. It's a totally surreal experience. And with the many different Float tank options. Do not be hesitant to give it a shot!!

It used to be a place I'd happily recommend to people looking to relax and reset. That changed recently when it became clear they are not welcoming to motorcycles. As someone who rides, that's a pretty disappointing stance to see from a business I've supported for so long. I'm not interested in supporting places that single out riders or create an unwelcoming environment for people simply based on how they arrive. It's a shame, because the facility itself has always been solid and I used to enjoy coming here. But culture matters. If a business doesn't want to be welcoming to the riding community, that's their choice--but it also means they won't be getting any more of my business. Plenty of other places out there that are happy to welcome everyone who walks through the door. ‍

This was a gift from a friend that I couldn't experience during my first visit but this time I was able to relax, show up on time and brought a friend. The logistics - there's parking for 1080 Peachtree in the rear. SWTHZ validates for up to 2 hours. You check-in at the front and there's a quick tour. You don't need more than 5 minutes but be mindful of your actual recovery in the sauna time. Location - There's about 6 rooms and the restroom is a separate area. There's an open area to dry your hair, apply lotion, do makeup and even body spray. It's a 2-seater area so not much privacy or the focus. Best to leave and do that at home. Sauna - It's a cozy sauna with ambient light, a bench and stocked with towels to cover your bottom and blot off the sweat. It doesn't take long to get a good sweat going. I'd leave your phone out of the sauna because it may overheat. Vitamin C Shower: The water is infused with vitamin C to rinse off before the cold plunge. There's shampoo, conditioner & body wash provided. There's an overhead and handheld shower head. Cold Plunge - The large tub is set to 50 degrees and fits 2 adults. Brace yourself! It's recommended to sit for 3-5 minutes and then back into the sauna. Overall, the experience was relaxing, invigorating and enjoyable. I do feel like my sore muscles recovered and I sweated out impurities. I would go back to set up my music & TV but we just didn't have the time. Pro Tip: Shave off about 10-15 minutes to shower & dress so you really only have 40 - 45 minutes. First time visits are only $25.

My friend wanted to spend her birthday at a bath house. We've tried Jeju and SpaLand before, but wanted to try something different. There were a total of 4 of us. Roman Holiday Sauna is in that Red Green Brazilian Steakhouse shopping center all the way to the right corner. When we got there, it was completely empty except for the people that was working there. They gave us 4 a quick tour and we started out on the lower floor where the saunas, lockers, and restaurant are. For those of you that have a hard time going up and down the stairs, their elevator is currently not working. When we got there, guess what? There were no baths! We did read about this on the reviews, but when we called prior to our visit, they claimed that there were baths. Nope...it wasn't even built for a bath. We had all purchased the body polish and they said that we can just eat first, steam and then do the polish. They wanted us to wait an hour. We said okay. Went to the "restaurant" and they claimed that their menu wasn't printed nor was the tv working where the menu was. So we had to try to figure out what their "handwriting" menu was. 2 out of us 4 ordered soup. Foods took awhile b/c it was just one lady cooking and it seems like they weren't really prepared....they literally said that they don't have 70% of the items from the "menu" because they haven't went grocery shopping (more like because they don't have enough customers). While waiting, they left the door open to the outside part behind us. Their employees kept on coming and going and the cigarette smell was getting stronger and stronger. I tried to go to the door to close it, but they kept it propped open and I can see where all the employees were back there smoking. Foods arrived...it was good. Since it took them awhile to cook (more than 30 mins), the body polish ladies kept on coming to us asking if we're ready yet. We told them that we literally just got our foods, they told us to be here for at least an our, and we wanted all 4 of us to be polished at the same time. Before I proceed, we did asked the front desk lady if there's enough staff to do the massages and body polish at the same time...she kept on trying to convince us to get the $160 package. We said that we will only get it if we can go at the same time...she kept on saying yes. Finished our foods, went to the polish area and they said to go wash our bodies first and go steam. We did all of that. OHHH! Before I forget, we all used the restrooms prior to this and the ladies that were working there did too. They were using it for awhile and when they came out of their stalls, not a single one of them WASHED THEIR HANDS!!! We're thinking to ourselves, these will be the same hands touching us, but we tried to think positively that at least they will wash it prior to polishing us. Here's where it all went down...if you're still following along...after the steaming room and they called us all out that they're ready, they only prepared 3 out of the 4 beds...we're like okayyyy. I told them that I'll just go lay on the infrared floor and wait, hence, the body polish is 90 minutes. It is what it is and we were all planning to be there all day anyways. After they rushed through one of my sisters, they told her to go ahead and go upstairs for her foot massage. She repeatedly told them that she's waiting for us. I'm still laying there on the darn hard floor rotating front and back waiting for them to call me. Next thing I heard was my sister coming back from the locker room asking them why did they started on someone else and not ME?!?! I lifted my head up and saw that they completely skipped me EVEN THOUGH I WAITED 90 MINUTES!!! What the F*CK?!?! One of the ladies there tried to lied to my sister and said that that lady was waiting for a long time already and was been there. Sis said, "No...there was nobody here before us. You knew my sister had been waiting, but you still proceeded to take someone else". They said they had a system going and my sister didn't understand. That's what got me riling up. The front desk lady (not sure if she's the mgr or what not) came downstairs and tried to talk too....the moment the staff said my sister didn't understand, I said, "forget it...I'm cancelling b/c I'm not waiting another 90 mins and you can just refund me". They tried to say, it'll be another 10 mins. Why? So that they can rush through my 2nd sister and friend? Went upstairs and got my refund and the desk lady kept on apologizing that they're short staff and didn't know until "yesterday". I told her that was not the point. I didn't mind the wait b/c I was already waiting, but to have someone skip right in front of me after I PATIENTLY waited and then to try to gaslight my sister? Oh h*ll no! *can't type anymore b/c Yelp have a min*
