Oh Brandon, you blue-eyed beautiful soul, thank you for your kind, welcoming spirit & service. Came here with my Daughter who planned a trial visit to relax, sweat & restore. I have been in many saunas, yet this experience tops them all. After you check in on the Ipad, you get a quick tour of your soon-to-be sweating experience. There are individual & Duo Sauna rooms that are clean, (you can smell the freshness slightly lingering) complete with complimentary towels, toiletries & a Vitamin-C infused shower(s). Inside your Suana Suite, the iPad is present again for you to watch a movie or listen to music...the latter worked for me to assist in unplugging & releasing of the toxins. You can also choose a color scheme to help in the session's atmosphere - we chose purple. You get 60 minutes that counts down from the clock above the door making it easy to track your time. As soon as you walk out of the suite, the cleaning team is promptly present to clean & restore. Actually, the entire space is well cleaned & organized. There is no time limit in the Beauty Bar where more complimentary toiletries & hair accessories are provided. Restrooms are located in & next to the Beauty Bar. Memberships vary, the price point is very doable for another form of self-care & revelation. Shared parking lot with other businesses in the Old Vinings Shopping Centre. Brandon, you are a GEM!

I saw an Instagram promotion for an introductory offer at the Vinings location, so I registered and paid online, selecting a date and time for my session. However, when I arrived for my scheduled appointment, the staff needed to be made aware of it, and there needed to be more connection between the online registration and the CRM. I was unable to experience the services as a first-time customer, and the staff needed to show a sense of urgency to find a solution. Their lack of flexibility and knowledge of the promotion process could have been better, and it did not solidify my decision to become a member, which I understand will not impact their continued business, but do they? As a senior-level leader in customer experience for a luxury automotive brand, I know that poor customer experience processes directly erode brand loyalty.

What a luxurious recovery studio! Sweathouz is located in a shopping center in the heart of Vinings right next door to Orange Theory, ample parking is available around their location. When you first walk in, you arrive into a small check-in area where you are greeted by one of the staff. Before you head to your room, you are given the choice of a scented chilled towel (the options I remember them having are peppermint, eucalyptus, and 2-3 others) and walked to your private room which you have for an hour. The saunas are located in individual private rooms which include the sauna, a TV (with access to YouTube, Netflix, Prime, etc - you would login to your own account), and the vitamin c shower. You are provided with 2 large towels and 1 small towel (I'm sure you could ask for more if you needed them). The sauna itself is really nice, equipped with a sound system and lots of light options to set whatever mood you want. It's preset at 165 degrees but you can turn the temp down as needed. The showers are equipped with bulk amenities for your use (shampoo, conditioner, face wash, body wash) as well as deodorant and hair ties. It's recommended that you use the sauna for 45 minutes max and use your remaining time to enjoy the shower (full disclosure, 45 minutes is PLENTY of time and you'll be thankful for that shower afterwards!!!). When your hour is over, there is a beauty bar equipped with 2 Dyson hairdryers, 1 hair straighter, and 1 facial red light machine - you can use the beauty bar as long as you need, I will say the area is quite small and would be really crowded if more than 2 people were in there. A few tips for those coming for the first time: - pack light clothes to wear in the sauna (maybe workout shorts and a sports bra or a bathing suit) if you're not comfortable being completely undressed/wrapped in a towel - PACK WATER!!!! And lots of it. They do sell water if you forget to bring some, and have a refillable station at the waiting area. I also recommend putting some electrolytes in your water, the sauna will suck a ton out of you and your body will be craving the nutrients after your session. Pack a snack too (light a granola bar) to have after your session, I was ravenous when I got out of the sauna lol - they do provide some amenities, but items I would recommend you pack for yourself would be a hairbrush and face/body lotion. - don't make the same mistake I did.....make sure to pack clothes for you to wear after your session that is LOOSE FITTING. I packed leggings and that was a huge mistake, you will be hot and sweat for a while after you get out of the sauna and any tight fit clothing will be near impossible to put on - if public showers make you cringe, be sure to pack a pair of flip flops to wear in the shower

I've been to several SweatHouz locations in the Atlanta area and they all pretty much operate uniformly. When you arrive expect to be greeted by friendly faces at this location. They offer you water that you can charge to your membership account and free chilled towels dipped in an essential oil of choice. They recommend you leave the towel outside of the sauna until you've reached halfway mark of your time in the sauna. Trust me! It's great advice and nice way to cool off before entering the second half. You get an hour long session, but you want to leave enough time to enjoy the private showers before your time is up. I usually do 40 mins in the sauna and 20 mins showering, getting dressed and normalizing my temperature. During your sauna session you can chose from different light options that represent various moods. They also have an iPad for music to be played while you're in your session. Once you've wrapped up the hour you'll have access to an open glam space that's stocked with blow dryers, dry shampoo and plenty of mirrors. Enjoy!

SweatHouz in Vinings is a great self care spot. They have various rooms and great customer service. Other locations include, Midtown, Mt. Pleasant, Buckhead, and Sandy Springs. My experience was great. I entered a private clean room. Equipped with a private vitamin C infused shower and shower essentials. Prior to my service they asked me my preferred color, desired ambiance, Spotify and Netflix channel. Upon arrival, my preferences were set up in the room and I was offered a scented (lavender, eucalyptus, etc) compress. Each suit has chromotherapy lighting. SweatHouz provides a beauty bar and bathroom on premise. I would suggest bringing a water bottle and flip flops ( if you choose to shower). My only complaint is that the meditation music stopped halfway in my 60 minute session, and I couldn't stretch my legs all the way out, and lay down, as the benches in the sauna are no more than 5 feet long. Nonetheless, that did not hinder my experience. This is a great self care spot!

I always enjoy this location! The establishment is clean and the workers there are friendly.

The very friendly staff at the Vinings location deserve accolades for creating such a relaxing and tranquil experience. Today I visited the studio for my first infrared sauna experience. Everything was sterile and well-kept.

OMG I absolutely love this place. I've been twice. Once in a suite by myself and then my husband and I were gifted for Valentine's Day by my parents. I've sent so many people to this place. I will go back more. I would like to get a membership, just need to budget it in my low priority wants. The staff is very professional and the facility is very clean!!

I tried HotBox Sauna Studio out after being invited here on their new member/first time visit special! I've always relaxed in the sauna after my workouts so I wanted to try this studio out to see what was 'different' about it after hearing about it so much and seeing it pop up all over ATL. This studio is located in 'downtown' Vinings and is really nice, modern, and clean! It is located next to Orange Theory Fitness. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and taken to my private/personal sauna. Once you're in the Sauna you can then relax and prepare to sweat out everything in your 1 hour session. The rooms are really clean, they provide you with an iPad so that you can listen to Spotify and afterwards they have a really nice shower which allows you to enjoy the Vitamin C infused system they have in place. They have very nice shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For the ladies, they have make-up wipes, hair ties, clips, etc. This place was REALLY REALLY clean and professional and I enjoyed my hour of relaxation here! It is a great atmosphere here and I definitely recommend trying it out as a form of therapy, work-outs, and just pure relaxation.

Amazing! Went today to start 2021 "right!" Brandon (front desk guy) had such awesome customer service. He went over everything with me in great detail. They give you a cold towel with your choice of an essential oil. I chose eucalyptus since it was cold and dreary out. The saunas have different lighting for your mood, spa music is what I chose. There is an IPad to use I guess if you' fee inclined to scroll while sweating your ass off. This place is priced reasonably and overall super relaxing! Oh and the rooms are CLEAN!

Bravo! $20 for 60 minutes of bliss. Friendly customer service and clean quarters. Your sauna is private and there is a door so you can set the temperature, music etc to your liking. They have a shower with all the toiletries you need. It's a rainfall shower though so you may need to bring a shower cap if you don't want your hair wet. I tried the citrus wet cloth and it was amazing. 10/10 recommend

We live in Nashville and I miss having a Korean spa around after having had many visits to a very large famous Korean spa in Dallas. I have visited ATL before just for a visit to a local competitor which had grown disappointing. We are SO GLAD we visited this place! It was clean and a nice size! Some of these (been to them in Dallas/ATL/Chicago/NY) can be smaller. This one has nice large saunas though not clearly marked as to temp*. I like to know these things. Not one of them was very warm at all but they were all very comfortable. The restaurant area is large as well and has lots of offerings, we tried several different drinks and food during the day. Honestly the food wasn't very good and the drinks are pre-processed so very sweet. We ended up just drinking water. The food we had was a fried. I started with 3 roasted eggs and it was the best thing I had. There may have been better options but we had planned to eat a nice meal that evening so no biggie. The wet area only has 2 hot tubs, both were the same temp* and neither had jets. The showers are nice and clean. The sauna was nice and hot :-) I personally like a nice quiet subdued environment but this one was not controlled that way and got a bit roudy the later it got. We both indulged in services. My husband a 80min massage deep tissue massage and I had the 90 min scrub/oil massage treatment. Both were done very well! My person was "#8" and I would highly recommend her. It is more costly than most to get in - $39 pp. We knew we would be getting services and food so we bought the $500 gift card deal which includes 2 entrances. This easily covered all we spent, including tip, and we had $$ left over but it had gotten very busy so we weren't able to get in for a 30min reflexology session. So we left with money which means we have to Go Back! #GirlsTrip I saw many first timers (forgetting to take your shoes off is a rookie mistake) Do yourself a favor and make time to visit! I would suggest another day than Saturday but if you get there early (10am) and leave by 5pm, as we did, you will still have plenty of time to relax and have services completed.

Having visited jeju sauna, I did have an idea but it's been a while since I had my last trip to the sauna. The do have several sections located a large map in the hall way. There is a 2nd level as well. The hot tub is mandatory fully nude fyi!! Something to consider if you want to go with your shy friends. I was definitely eyeing the body scrub in the hot tub room. Wishing I did it! Instead we opted for a couples massage. They have a signup board by the entrance where you sign up and return with your assigned time. I will say the massage was pricy and I think we're going to do the scrub next time since it's exclusively available here. Food that we tried was the bimbimbap and the strawberry smoothie. Definitely decent for the location. Overall not bad for the admission price and fun experience.

My friend wanted to spend her birthday at a bath house. We've tried Jeju and SpaLand before, but wanted to try something different. There were a total of 4 of us. Roman Holiday Sauna is in that Red Green Brazilian Steakhouse shopping center all the way to the right corner. When we got there, it was completely empty except for the people that was working there. They gave us 4 a quick tour and we started out on the lower floor where the saunas, lockers, and restaurant are. For those of you that have a hard time going up and down the stairs, their elevator is currently not working. When we got there, guess what? There were no baths! We did read about this on the reviews, but when we called prior to our visit, they claimed that there were baths. Nope...it wasn't even built for a bath. We had all purchased the body polish and they said that we can just eat first, steam and then do the polish. They wanted us to wait an hour. We said okay. Went to the "restaurant" and they claimed that their menu wasn't printed nor was the tv working where the menu was. So we had to try to figure out what their "handwriting" menu was. 2 out of us 4 ordered soup. Foods took awhile b/c it was just one lady cooking and it seems like they weren't really prepared....they literally said that they don't have 70% of the items from the "menu" because they haven't went grocery shopping (more like because they don't have enough customers). While waiting, they left the door open to the outside part behind us. Their employees kept on coming and going and the cigarette smell was getting stronger and stronger. I tried to go to the door to close it, but they kept it propped open and I can see where all the employees were back there smoking. Foods arrived...it was good. Since it took them awhile to cook (more than 30 mins), the body polish ladies kept on coming to us asking if we're ready yet. We told them that we literally just got our foods, they told us to be here for at least an our, and we wanted all 4 of us to be polished at the same time. Before I proceed, we did asked the front desk lady if there's enough staff to do the massages and body polish at the same time...she kept on trying to convince us to get the $160 package. We said that we will only get it if we can go at the same time...she kept on saying yes. Finished our foods, went to the polish area and they said to go wash our bodies first and go steam. We did all of that. OHHH! Before I forget, we all used the restrooms prior to this and the ladies that were working there did too. They were using it for awhile and when they came out of their stalls, not a single one of them WASHED THEIR HANDS!!! We're thinking to ourselves, these will be the same hands touching us, but we tried to think positively that at least they will wash it prior to polishing us. Here's where it all went down...if you're still following along...after the steaming room and they called us all out that they're ready, they only prepared 3 out of the 4 beds...we're like okayyyy. I told them that I'll just go lay on the infrared floor and wait, hence, the body polish is 90 minutes. It is what it is and we were all planning to be there all day anyways. After they rushed through one of my sisters, they told her to go ahead and go upstairs for her foot massage. She repeatedly told them that she's waiting for us. I'm still laying there on the darn hard floor rotating front and back waiting for them to call me. Next thing I heard was my sister coming back from the locker room asking them why did they started on someone else and not ME?!?! I lifted my head up and saw that they completely skipped me EVEN THOUGH I WAITED 90 MINUTES!!! What the F*CK?!?! One of the ladies there tried to lied to my sister and said that that lady was waiting for a long time already and was been there. Sis said, "No...there was nobody here before us. You knew my sister had been waiting, but you still proceeded to take someone else". They said they had a system going and my sister didn't understand. That's what got me riling up. The front desk lady (not sure if she's the mgr or what not) came downstairs and tried to talk too....the moment the staff said my sister didn't understand, I said, "forget it...I'm cancelling b/c I'm not waiting another 90 mins and you can just refund me". They tried to say, it'll be another 10 mins. Why? So that they can rush through my 2nd sister and friend? Went upstairs and got my refund and the desk lady kept on apologizing that they're short staff and didn't know until "yesterday". I told her that was not the point. I didn't mind the wait b/c I was already waiting, but to have someone skip right in front of me after I PATIENTLY waited and then to try to gaslight my sister? Oh h*ll no! *can't type anymore b/c Yelp have a min*

Let me start by saying it is no Jeju, Spa Land, or even Gangnam. If you love one or all of the…read morepreviously mentioned spas do yourself a favor and skip this sauna. However if you are wanting to experience a sauna for the first time this is a good beginners sauna. It has limited amenities. The locker rooms are small. There is not hot tub...well an inflatable pool. It was very quiet. It can't compare to the other major saunas/spas in The metro Atlanta area.

It…read morewas a nice experience for the $15 trial, and to be able to experience both the infrared sauna and cold plunge for that price (via an IG ad). IMO it's only worth buying a package for special occasions (if you want to treat yourself), however a monthly unlimited or limited memberships are too expensive for the sauna and cold plunge. To make it worth it for the unlimited, you'd need to go multiple times a week. It might be more worth it if you add the gym membership for just a little extra but for the sauna + cold plunge membership, you'd have to go at least once a week for any of the memberships (limited or unlimited), to make sense. They count one session as either the sauna or the cold plunge (not both together). So to get both you have to use 2 sessions, which sucks. One session should include a complete set of both. The gym was completely empty and practically all saunas were too, so i'm not sure how profitable this place is. Only a couple of saunas are supposed to go to 175 degrees. I supposedly used one of those on my visit, but the hottest it ever got was 164 and even that decreased from time to time. They recommend no longer than 20 mins at a time. I more than doubled that time staying 42 mins and still wasn't satisfied with the level of sweat/temperature. Which makes it even more not worth it membership-wise. I need a GOOD sweat and this was lacking that for me. The cold plunge was 47 degrees and they only recommended doing it for 2-5 minutes at a time. It was a great feeling and i'd do it again for $15. But worth it for a membership??? - Uhm not so much. Lastly, after experiencing infrared and because of the temperature concerns of not reaching above 164 F, I much prefer the dry sauna (a la LA Fitness). Yup, I can get that at LA Fitness for a fraction of the cost and leave there feeling great with a high metabolism due to all the sweat. This place didn't make me feel that way. Yes its much cleaner than LA Fitness (depending on which LAF you go to), and there's something to be said for that because you want that in a sauna, but all other things considered, price matters especially for what you get. I wish they would consider lowering the cold plunge prices (considering the short nature of it - it's not like you're chilling in there like you would a hot tub for a prolonged period - so I don't get why it's so expensive); either that or double the number of sessions - for the "limited" membership for that particular service. If there was a steam room too it'd be worth it. Or better yet all 4. Steam room, dry and infrared saunas, and cold plunge You do get a private clean room, vit c filtered shower and towels. There is also an iPad in the room to "listen" to whatever you want while there, including "listening" to youtube (not to be confused with watching)....if that matters - but IMO its pretty standard. I wanted this to be 4 or 5 stars, but it just didn't deserve more than 3 stars at the end of the day overall mainly due to price not matching the services. if I lived in the neighborhood maybe but I couldn't see myself driving 25 mins each way multiple times per week for it. The guy that I spoke to on my visit also said he would follow up the following week. I'm still waiting. Lol.

Each suite is equipped with everything you need to have a great experience including plenty of towels, toiletries for post-sauna clean-up in your private shower, and an iPad to help you set your perfect spa mood. The aroma therapy cooling cloth (in your choice of any of four scents) is a wonderful touch. The chilled, scented cloth will be given to you at the beginning of your session by one of Thrive's amazing staff - each of whom is more friendly and professional than the last - or even Thrive's super personable owner, Lloyd. I expect to continue to return to Thrive for saunas a long time to come.
