Lovely, lovely place. Go support this hidden gem I booked a last minute appointment for a lash lift and tint with Marissa and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, you're asked to sanitize your hands and take off your shoes, making everyone's safety a priority from the get-go. You'll notice a beautiful shelf of items (like Incausa incense, locally made jewelry, ceramics, etc) and a wonderfully-clean and intimate waiting area. I was led to the adjacent room, a warmly-lit area with yummy, natural fragrances in the air. The spa table where I laid down for the application was heated and felt so therapeutic on my back (a killer bonus, honestly). Marisa was super personable and informative on the lash lift and tint process and generously offered information on other services and products. Would be remiss to not add how incredibly knowledgeable and warm she was throughout the appointment, not to mention that she was triple-masked up which is an added comfort during COVID. As a nurse during Covid-19, my life has been super stressful and I was looking for a safe and local place to support in doing some self care. I found FP through Facebook and was lured in by their safety standards and political posts, to be honest. I was happily surprised to see the process they use, from leaving your shoes at the door while getting a temperature check, and filling out and signing a symptom questionnaire. I recently had a one-hour, full-body massage with Dale and it was everything I needed - a peaceful and comfortable environment and a skilled massage therapist digging deep into my tense muscles. As a hairstylist who is pregnant I have a lot of body pain! I was having some pregnancy sciatica pain that was unbearable. And it was affecting my work. One of my clients told me that she had been seeing Abby for 10 years and she had helped her with her sciatica pain when she was pregnant. So I went for my hour massage and it was so relaxing. Abby is also so easy and fun to talk to. It's hard finding a balance because you want to talk to her but you also want to just be quiet, take it all in and relax. She has some really great firm hands that worked magic. I didn't even notice but a few weeks later someone asked how my pain was and I suddenly realize that it had just gone away. Amazing.
