"Absolutely amazing experience! I discovered this on social media and ended up spending an entire day reconnecting with myself. My first-ever sound bath with our leader Joy was deeply spiritual, grounding, and uplifting, it even brought me to tears in the best way. You can truly feel the intention behind it all. And my massage with Frankie was A+ incredible from start to finish. Thank you for such a beautiful experience!" To everyone from walking through the door attentive inviting! read more

I Had the best reiki experience with Dr. Oba! In my opinion, He is truly a natural healer and extremely intuitive and knowledgeable about his craft. I had only had reiki once a few years ago and I was a bit nervous, but Dr. Oba made the atmosphere very comfortable. From the tranquil sounds to the essential oil smells. I immediately felt relaxed. He cleared my energy centers and performed reiki massage which healed me to uncontrollable tears. I felt like a weight was lifted and I could float right out the door! He also applied acupressure and cupping to my lower back. My back was aching when I arrived but a felt like a new person when I left. I am looking forward to my next visit. read more

Great service and ambiance! The prices are reasonable based upon competing services and I really appreciate the availability of operating hours for my busy schedule. The staff is very professional and friendly. I'm a repeat client now. I rarely wait, if at all and the facility is clean. Great overall experience! read more

A Truly Transformative Experience with Oba at Heal Thyself Atlanta I had the pleasure of receiving an intuitive Reiki-infused massage from Oba at Heal Thyself Atlanta, and I am still in awe of the experience. From the moment I entered the space, I felt a sense of calm and warmth, which set the tone for the entire session. Oba has an incredible presence--soothing, intuitive, and deeply in tune with the needs of the body and spirit. The massage itself was nothing short of transformative. Oba's technique seamlessly combined traditional massage with the healing energy of Reiki. I could feel energy flowing through me as Oba worked on areas of tension in my body, and there was a palpable shift in my energy field. I've had many massages in the past, but this was the first time I experienced such a deep connection between physical and energetic healing. read more

This is a wellness center offering detox, colon hydrotherapy, massage, organic facial, foot detox and amethyst biomat. This brand offers a holistic approach to overall wellbeing. The ambiance upon entering is pure tranquility. The high ceilings and relaxation music really set the tone. It has been some time since I've had a colonic. It's not that I haven't needed one but that I have not found the right place. A colonic or colon hydrotherapy is where water gently rinses out the colon to remove excess waste. LaLa is the owner and explained every aspect of the process. She really helped me to understand what my body needed. I have had this service at another local spot but did not achieve these results. I left feeling lighter and with more knowledge about what I need to do daily. The V-Steam is becoming more and more popular. Ladies suffering from menstrual cramps, menopause or even infertility should consider this holistic treatment. It has been known to relieve many women dealing with PMS, fibroids and postpartum as well. Also known as 'hip bath' the V-Steam provides oxygenation and relax the pelvic floor muscles. The staff here is very helpful and will answer any of your questions. I enjoyed my time at Heal Thyself Atlanta. After my service I was greeted with a hot cup of hibiscus tea. The aromas were so fragrant. I absolutely loved it! If you are looking for a way to detox your system after spring break do yourself a favor and visit my friends at Heal Thyself Atlanta. In addition to their many services, they also offer a host of vitamins and healthy skin care products. #ashsaidit read more

I decided to try something new on my trip to Atlanta which led me to Heal Thyself and it was the best part of my trip. I started with an intuitive healing session with Shaheed. He knew me better than I know myself. He helped me realize some important work I need to do for myself. Then I had a seaweed body wrap with Mei and she was delightful. It was a great experience from the lovely welcome I received from the front all the way through checkout. It will forever be a must when I visit Atlanta and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! read more

I had a series of 3 hydro colon sessions. I wanted to start this treatment because although I've been mainly vegetarian and vegan for the past five years, I don't have regular bowel movements. I've had colonics in the past, but it was a closed system so a MUCH different experience that a open system (the use the Angel of Water machine) because you insert the tube into your own anus and you control the water and how long/far it goes in by holding your sphincter muscles and then releasing. I prefer the closed system, but I heard the Angel of Water provided better results because it cleaned your colon better. After the first session, I had 2-3 days were I had 2 bowel movements per day (I had also JUST ended a month long raw vegan detox so I'm sure that helped). After the second and third sessions, my bowels became even more regular. I've seen no difference in my stomach/waist/FUPA/weight like many people rave about after a colonic, but that's cool because I went for health reasons, not cosmetic. The spa itself was really easy to find, plenty of free parking and is a clean and relaxing environment. My appointments were with LaLa and she was really knowledgeable, helpful and made an unpleasant experience go by pretty quickly. She was also able to recommend supplements to purchase on site but wasn't pushy about it. I definitely recommend Heal Thy Self for anyone who wants to take the next time in prioritizing their long term health. I bought another 3 hydro colon sessions with Tatiana, and am looking forward to seeing my progress. read more

This was my first time getting colon hydrotherapy at Heal Theyself. I have been doing it for years, but the results this time were incredible. Tatyan was so kind and informative. I noticed how my body responded to different foods I ate, so I know what to cut back on or eliminate. I have a second one scheduled and can't wait! I also received my first lymphatic drainage here. I was a bit skeptical, because she was just pushing/massaging my body, and for the price I was expecting more. But,I was wrong. I expelled so much over the next couple of days. I highly recommend this place. read more

Heal Thyself is a wholistic spa that offers a comprehensive menu of natural, non-toxic skincare products, spa facials, massages, and wellness services to support a person's mind, body, and spirit. I got my first colonic at Heal Thyself this last week. I was very anxious leading into this as I did not know what to expect, but overall, Lala helped calm my nerves and walked me through the process like a pro. I don't think will do colonics often but for a first time experience, I think I see the benefit. The facility was clean and well kept and the team was knowledgeable. She offers vitamins and all types of helpful aids for any scenario you can think. read more

Not at all what was expected. Beyond disappointed after spending hundreds on a surprise spa day. Very uncomfortable situations. Amenities/services didn't meet our standards AT ALL. Scheduled multiple services. The 'energy healing' was an absolute joke and completely unprofessional. The guy performing this 'treatment' was completely out of his depth and seemed like he was just making things up as he went. Come to find out he's been doing this 'work' for 2 years?? smh. It seemed more like he was trying to get personal info to gossip vs actually healing shifting energies. Ended up turning into a therapy session FOR HIM smh. Totally unprofessional and uncomfortable experience. and to make matters worse we did the 2-$30 add ons energy shielding and balancing but ended up just wanted to SHIELD from the inexperienced unprofessional man attempting to cosplay as some sort of healer. (we have been to tried and true healers so we know these things CAN work and what yo expect. this was Not it. The foot detox was barely 10 minutes. The infrared sauna thing NEVER got warm so it was a complete waste of money and time. Just sat there waiting for them to say when to go to the next treatment when all I wanted to do was go home. The ONLY decent thing was the massage and that was below average but at least better than everything else. Wasted our money and ruined my husband's birthday!!!! He literally came home and said it was the worst experience and he wishes he would have just went to the Four Seasons Spa even though it's overpriced bc he at least could have relaxed. DO NOT GO HERE if you have any sort of REAL STANDARDS. read more

I've been here 3x and today is the first time I've had a rude experience. There is a lady working the door with a thick accent that was getting loud with me because they sell ionic foot detoxes by 30minute intervals. However, their machine only runs for 23minutes max per session. And my first session was only set for 13minutes. But Broomhilda didn't believe me when I pointed out the time on the machine was off. Every other time I've come the front desk person would automatically check to ensure the machine was set correctly and then come back and add the extra minutes on to ensure a full 30minute session. This egotistical accent person told me I needed to "ask her" for the additional time. I had to ask her a few times to lower her voice when talking to me before finally sending her away. She went on to slam doors and cabinets shut in the hallway beside me. She did not have good energy from the moment she came to the front desk. Beware when you buy a foot detoxes for 30mins you might have to stroke Griselda's ego to get your other 7minutes. She won't automatically do her job like the other ladies who have serviced me before. read more

This place has quickly become my go to spot. I initially heard about Heal Thyself through some colleagues. I later saw it on social media and decided it was finally time to check it out. Being new to Atlanta, I was looking for a place for some detox services. I tried the foot detox and the owner suggested a colonic after noticing potential digestive issues. I was definitely nervous to try it at first, but she made me feel comfortable, relaxed and focused on my wellness journey. I've now completed several series and can tell a difference not only in my health, but also emotionally. I feel more grounded and lucky to have found such a gem! I always tell friends about this Heal Thyself and have even brought family here during their visits. If you are looking for a place to rejuvenate, get grounded, find caring therapists then this is it. read more

I did not have the best time here yesterday. I went in for a colonic (my first one ever) and a massage. Renitta was my practitioner and I found her to be very nice. She answered every question I had and that was helpful. The first thing that stood out for me was the new client on-boarding process or lack thereof. As a first time customer, it would've been nice to have been welcomed into the space and given a run down of what to do once inside the treatment room. For example, following my massage I needed to go into the next room but had to ask for a robe (?). I was naked under the massage blanket, did I have to ask for a robe..? I'm not sure. Once robed, I wasn't sure what to do with my coat, clothes and shoes so I asked what to do and she said, "oh, just bring them with you". So here I am in a robe with my clothes wrapped up in my big coat, walking on the backs of shoes to the next treatment room. (What?!) Once inside this room, I asked where to place my items and was then told, "oh, they go in the bag here" pointing to the canvas bags that were on the hook that she should've told me about at the start of the first treatment. Anyway, I actually had a bad reaction to the colonic that everyone should know about. I experienced a LOT OF PAIN and nearly passed out during the treatment. I'm sharing this without placing blame on HTS (at all), but wanting to be honest in this review because this was my experience today. All of this aside, I do like what HTS offers, and I will be back for a 2nd visit with hopes that my customer service AND colonic treatment will be much better! Meanwhile, if anyone needs me I'll be drinking my green juice and taking my enzymes bc I gotta get it together! read more

The establishment is a great place for holistic relaxation. The owner and her daughter are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. The ionic foot detox is something I hadn't tried before but I left feeling clear and knowing what I needed to change in my habits. The facials have been amazing and my skin hasn't been the same since! I had a bad burn on my face but the facial helped heal it well. I will say that do yourself a favor and do not book yourself with masseuse Consuela. She is the most unprofessional masseuse I've ever encountered. A vast difference from what I've experienced there. I'm embarrassed to say she's even associated with this place because it's so wonderful and Consuela is the polar opposite. Otherwise everything else about Heal Thyself is a wonderland! read more

I had a very pleasant experience today at Heal Thyself. I was warmly welcomed by LaLa & continued to my first colonic hydrotherapy with Tatyan. A special experience in a calming, healing atmosphere. All my massages by Mariah have been heavenly and ranging from cupping, reiki, relaxing and targeted work. I had my first Heal Thyself facial yesterday with Sade. I came in with dry and scaled skin and left with a hydrated smooth face. I always supplement my appointments with a session in the hyperbaric oxygen treatment. It helps lift my fatigue and brain fog for weeks. I love this place! read more

Best Integrative Holistic Day Spa in Atlanta. I travel quite a bit for work (filmmaker) and also for medical treatment for a chronic illness I'm currently recovering from. Upon returning to Atlanta, I researched the best places that offered the most effective healing and detox modalities, as recommended by my specialist physicians all across the country. Heal Thyself Atlanta is the only place I found in and around the Atlanta area that offers ALL of these services. I didn't want to have to go to several different places to get everything I needed - I wanted a 'one stop shop' and that's exactly what Heal Thyself Atlanta provides. The space is so beautiful and I feel my stress just melt away the moment I walk through the door. The owner is an incredible human being with a wealth of knowledge in natural healing. And each person who works here is full of love, wisdom and authenticity. I highly recommend the colon hydrotherapy (they have the "Angel of Water" open system - which is TOP of the line). I do lymphatic drainage massages here, as well as ionic foot detox baths. The massage therapists here are AMAZING. They offer several different types of massages to suit everyone's individual needs. I feel so lucky to have found this magical spot! read more

Staff very friendly and I felt amazing after my session . I also got in by booking the day before on the weekend.

Today was my first experience with Heal Thyself Atlanta! My friend and I made appointments today by phone and was accommodated immediately when we arrived a few hours later. I was so impressed that I signed up for the monthly membership package. read more

Horrible experience!!! Booked for services last week and we get here on time at 11:00!!! The owner was confused and said she didn't have anyone to complete the facials and that he had to wait 15 minutes for a massage therapist. Please DON'T waste your time on this place!!!! The DO NOT value other people's time. I stand by my review. Last week I called and you gave a phone to a young lady to schedule for services. I informed her that my fiancé wanted the following: a massage and a facial. I wanted: hydro, facial, and biomat!!! You were confused when we arrived and you weren't professional. Then you informed was that you had to call someone to come into work early, it would take her 15 minutes to get there, and that you had no one to do the facials. The energy was not conducive and the vibes were way off for individuals who were preparing for a relaxing day! We have facials schedule already! I look forward to hydro services at Clean Start Cleansing... read more

I am a repeat client. I have witnessed the growth of HTA over the years and I am very pleased with the massages and colonic treatments that I have received. I've had massages from Moriah, Rosemary, and May and each have their different talents so I rotate. I've been to HTA a few times now. I love it. Very pleased to say they lack the pretension that most Atlanta spa staff members have. I always feel welcomed and informed. The staff genuinely seem to care if you enjoyed your visit. I plan on trying everything here but so far I've been stuck on the V-Steam, reiki massage and colonics. Renatta (I'm sure I misspelled that) did my reiki massage. She has a very gentle nature and firm hands. I truly left her feeling emotionally lighter and physically knotless. I recommend trying the tea blends here. They are delicious. read more

(This is a TMI REVIEW) I was diagnosed with cancer a month ago and a known side effect of the chemotherapy treatment is constipation. I was severely constipated for 8 days- could not eat for 4 days. The doctors kept prescribing me medicines and laxatives and I even went to the ER to get an enema. Nothing worked for me. I was miserable and thought I'd never see the end of my abdominal pain. I was recommended by a friend to try a colonic cleanse. I called Heal Thyself and they gave me a same day appointment. I had honestly lost hope and didn't think they could help. I must say, I had a life changing experience and was completely emptied and walked out with a flat tummy and no more bowel left in my abdominal. I prayed and cried. Susan was so patient with me. She helped me breathe properly through the cleanse and massaged my belly with her machine. She gave me hope. I immediately booked another session and have told many of my friends and family about this. It's not embarrassing- it is something I'd recommend for anyone to detox your body and remove all the built up toxins periodically. Money well spent! read more

Just got off a plane, got to my rental, took a deep breath after dealing with all the rat race at the airport, and looked at Yelp for a place to go unwind. The folks at Heal Thyself told me to show up ASAP and they'd get me in for some of the treatments! Did some Pranic Healing, hyperbaric chamber, detox bath, and a massage. Talk about the fast track rack to wellness! I don't usually get to treat myself (or vacation) so I treated myself to the works! The hospitality is amazing, the staff are kind and a wealth of knowledge, and the tea! Delicious! The prices seemed a bit steep for what I'm normally willing to pay, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE! I haven't felt so happy, de-stressed, or purely joyful in a long time. I arrived worn down and left feeing lightweight and energetic. If you are someone whose picture is listed next to "Murphy's Law" or just feel constantly drained, please do yourself a favor and visit the staff. Treat yourself to a little bliss. When we decided to really start "trying" to conceive, I wanted to prepare my womb. I'm in my late 30's and my doctor, while trying to be helpful, still took my anxiety to a new high with concerns about fertility. I wanted to do all I could to give us the best chance, so I consulted with Lala at Heal Thyself. I did a series of colon hydrotherapy treatments, hip baths, and womb detox massages at Heal Thyself. My womb health drastically improved... to the point that I had virtually painless periods (which I'd never experienced before), and we are now expecting our first child! I'll be scheduling a pregnancy massage very soon! I'm so grateful to Lala and the providers at Heal Thyself for all of the information and support that they've given (and continue to give) me.
