I was excited to see New York style pizza advertised. It's not New York style. The crust is way too crispy. You don't have to fold this pizza to eat it. All of the employees were super friendly and gave us a warm greeting with smiles when we arrived. Prices seem high to me. Nearly $22 for an 18" pizza leads me to believe that this pizza is going to be fantastic and that just wasn't the case. It was a treat to have the Indian pizza options and we ordered a Butter Chicken (one of my family's favorite Indian dishes) and the top of it was very good but the hard crust really brought it down overall. We also got a triboro also and it was nothing special. If I were to go back, it would only be to try another Indian pizza. I noticed on the box that they advertise they're lower in carbs and calories. Maybe that is the reason for the harder crust. If that's the case, maybe the harder crust is worth it. read more

If you like Indian food and pizza, you have to give Indian pizza a try. What I really liked about this spot though was the crust. It's thin but had a really nice crunch. The flavors are good but the crust I think was the star. We ordered 3 different pizzas. Tandoori, samosa, and butter chicken. Be warned, the samosa is good but is it spicy. I'm pretty sure you can ask them to go light on the Chile that they put in there. But it's pretty intense because the Chile looks like it's even embedded inside the crust. It's also a little sweet because of the sweet potato. The tandoori had a slight kick to it and has pickled jalapeños in them. (My personal favorite). The butter chicken was decent too and was not spicy at all. A whole pie was around $26.99. They're inside the plaza where chipotle, Panda Express, and Bora. It's at the end towards McDonald's side. There's parking in the front of the restaurant, but there's also parking behind the building. They also have a door in the restaurant that leads to the back so you can enter/exit that was as well if you park back there. read more

Today 10/8/18 was the second time we got pizza here. While I got a butter chicken and a whitestone slice for myself this time we got a samosa pizza slice for my husband as well. The samosa slice was a little spicy but tasted just like a samosa. Everything was perfect on that one. For the whitestone pizza I found it to be a little bit too oily but the ricotta on there was creamy and delicious. The crust had also gotten too hard after just 5 minutes. The first time I had the butter chicken pizza slice it tasted great but this time around I found the chicken to be too dry and they had forgotten to put the sauce on there as well. I think if they had put the sauce on there though it would have been perfect. I love this place because the slices are only 3.89 and they also have great customer service. I came here yesterday for the first time and just HAD to come back. I have yet to try their more common pizza flavors, but I have made my way through the Butter Chicken, Samosa and Paneer Tikka topped pizzas. In seeing these options, I wondered if Indian food could honestly be properly executed on a pizza. The sauce has to be perfect, and the addition of cheese isn't something I'm used to with these three dishes traditionally. In getting them, the crust had a perfect give and consistency. It really was like buttery naan bread. The sauce did a good job of paying homage to the original dishes and the pricing was really fair. If you sign up, you can get a free slice which was neat. That makes experimenting a little less risky. Side note: this place has a huge amount invested in it. Everything here is top notch and high quality. My first time at Flippin' Pizza. I was looking for a new spot that offered a good white pizza. Then I saw you offered Indian style toppings. So, feeling adventurous I decided to give both a try. I tried 1/2 white and 1/2 butter paneer. The white pizza was good but needed a lot more cheese. It was very lacking in the cheese department. The butter paneer was really good. The spiciness was just right. Between the two halves, the paneer was the winner. :D The pepperoni rolls sounded so good. But, they weren't something I would get again. But, I tried. They were very, very doughy and just too tough. Peeling them open and eating the pepperoni was the way to go. :D Overall, not bad. Hopefully you guys will offer a smaller sized pizza that's not gluten free. The 18" was just too much for what we needed. I will be back for the butter paneer. :D read more

I am the first person to tell anyone I am not a fan of pizza. I am also the first person to tell you to go to flippin pizza for some of the best Indian pizza in town. My mouth waters when I think of a pizza from here. I have only tried the samosa pizza, and honestly, there is no reason to try anything else. The pizza is made fresh and I could eat this daily. I'm eating at Flippin' Pizza for what I believe is my fourth time. While they have traditional pizza too, what keeps me coming back are the Indian varieties they offer. They have samosa, butter chicken, and paneer tikka available. I've only had slices here during lunch and never a whole pie so my review is based solely on slices. There aren't many pizza joints whose slices I think are worth eating, but FP makes the grade. Blue Moon is another noteworthy exception! I am a pizza lover! There, I said it. And I love that FP has encroached on pizza with another cuisine; that being Indian. I have tried all 3 varieties of Indian pizza I mentioned above and really appreciate the flavors they offer. The samosa is my favorite. Today I'm having 3 slices; samosa, BBQ chicken, and pepperoni and sausage. As I mentioned, the samosa is my favorite of the Indian varieties here. It is so flavorful. If you haven't had Indian cuisine there is no way I can explain the flavor, but it's good. There is a sweetness and a (fairly mild) heat and lots of cilantro. It's not bland by any stretch of the imagination. The BBQ chicken was pretty good but a bit dry for my taste. This is one of the risks with slices. If they could just get it a little more moist. The pepperoni and sausage is a NY style (although not sized) slice. I'm not a fan of NY style pizza but I like theirs. The samosa or pepperoni and sausage are each good enough to bring me back but having both at the same place is a bonus. One word of caution, they are serious about cilantro. So if you are one of those people that dislike cilantro, inquire if it will be on your food. I'm sure they'll leave it off of whatever you want, but don't assume it won't come with it. Do yourself a favor and come try them out! read more

Fantastic indian new york style pizza. They have both traditional NY style pizzas and 3 indian pizzas. We ordered a half paneer and half samosa pizza. The samosa did have a little spice kick. My husband and I have been LOVING this place! Delivery is always fresh and hot. If you come in and order to go or eat in, they have plenty of wine and beer options. The large pizzas are huge!! Their NY style pizza is the best in the area. We've really enjoyed the Bronx, Hawaiian Bacon, Brooklyn, Veggie, and Artichoke. Great dough and ingredients, exactly what we wanted. They sell by the slice, and the whole pizza, so whether you are just stopping in for lunch or bringing the family you will find what you're looking for. Best customer service I ever received! I dined in last night with my husband, 4 year old son, and two friends. Our son is mildly autistic and was having a bit of a hard time. The entire staff could not have been kinder or more welcoming. They brought him cookies and pizza dough to play with. They were not at all phased by our boisterous and energetic little boy. There was a mix up when we ordered. I intended to order 2 slices of pizza for my husband and a calzone for me. I didn't specifically say "slices" when I ordered. They ended up bringing out two giant pizzas. We repeatedly insisted on paying for the full pizzas, it really was my mistake, but they absolutely refused to charge us for the whole pie and instead charged us for just two slices. We were originally planning on going to the Roswell location, but it was closed on New Years Eve. The pizzas are 18 inches with huge slices. I ordered the butter chicken, paneer tikka, and samosa chaat. It was more than enough for three people with plenty of leftovers. The butter chicken pizza is out of this world, it is really good butter chicken with red onions on pizza and it's genius. The paneer tikka is super delicious. I would not recommend this place. We ordered a pizza and two sides with drinks. They brought out the salad first and 10 min later they brought out our other side. And then they forgot the rest of our order and then we asked about our drink and they were like this is all u ordered right, we were like no we also ordered pizza and it took them a long time to bring our pizza out and then the pizza was so watery and when we picked up a piece all the toppings dropped. There was no taste or flavor and the chicken was not fully cooked. Don't waste your money or time. We end up eating only one piece each and throw out the rest of it. Very disappointing. read more
