We ate so quickly that I forgot to take pictures of the pizza! The only photo I managed to get was of the cheese bread we took to go. This is, hands down, the closest thing to authentic New York-style pizza that I've had since moving here 30 years ago. I've found some good pizza over the years, but this was the best. It was absolutely delicious, and I'm definitely adding it to my favorites list. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean, including the dining area and tables. The garlic knots were amazing--packed with so much garlic that it was a delicious kick right in the face! We ordered the Triboro pizza and a cheese pizza, and both were outstanding. If you're looking for great New York-style pizza, Flippin' Pizza is well worth a visit! read more

Came in because it said NY Style pizza. Ordered garlic knots and a pepperoni pie. The garlic knots looked like crescent rolls and were so covered with red pepper flakes and garlic you could barely taste the bread, which was overcooked. The red sauce to go with them was ice cold. The pizza is NOT NY style. It's barely better than Chef boy r Dee. It was covered in grease and was simply generic. This restaurant should be billed as Indian Fusion rather than NY Style because I feel that is probably what they sell most. If you are looking for Indian food, give it a try. If you are looking for something that even resembles NY style anything, run as fast as you can. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

Flippin' Pizza absolutely nailed it! The Bombay Chat Pizza is a total flavor bomb-tangy, spicy, chatpata goodness in every bite! And the Aachari Paneer Pizza... WOW! Super rich, perfectly spiced, and loaded with authentic achari flavor. Fresh toppings, amazing crust, and such a unique Indian twist. Hands down one of the BEST pizzas I've had. Tried the Paneer Tikka and Bombay Chat, and both were delicious! The paneer was perfectly cooked with a smoky, spicy flavor, while the chat was a fun mix of crunchy, tangy, and sweet. A great spot for anyone looking to try a unique twist on Indian-inspired dishes. Highly recommend! Also, you can order half n half if you wanna try two flavours. read more

My husband & I ordered their Chicken tikka pizza and it was good. Service was quick with real-time order updates and the price was fair. 18-inch pizza was priced at $28 and it was too filling for 2 of us. Although the restaurant was fairly empty, a lot of folks were waiting for their to-go orders. We'll certainly order again. read more

Service was so-so but the food was less than me. You can get much better pizza in the frozen food section at Publix or Kroger. And if you eat at home you get a clean table. read more

After hearing about this place through friends, I really wanted to try one of their Indian pizzas. We went with the tandoori chicken pizza, and it was enough for 4 people. I really liked how tasty the pizza sauce was and the chicken was quite flavorful. I didn't think cheese would go with it, but it tasted really good. I wish there was more chicken on the pizza since it was on the pricier end. Overall, it was pretty good and we had ordered it online. The pizza was ready in about 15min. I would love to try their other flavors! read more

Incredible pizza and leaving this review just for the Indian flavors they have. We got a large half paneer tikka masala and half samosa chaat pizza. The paneer tikka masala was phenomenal, so well flavored and the pizza crust served almost like naan which made it even better. The samosa chaat was also very flavorful and a little bit spicy but both were delicious! You'll have to call them to do a half and half order but well worth it to try all the combinations! Super innovative and delicious pizza! read more

Wasn't sure i was ready for an Indian inspired pizza, the first couple of bites were a bit strange as I wasn't expecting some of those flavors and spices but I have to say I liked it a lot by the time I had finished my lunch. Staff was great, very friendly!! Definitely coming back. read more

Very good customer service and interesting variety of pizzas. We just got the cheese pizza and a garden salad but the Indian pizzas looked great as well as the Hawaiian and bbq chicken. The dough is lower carb and less calories than other pizza dough which is great. I wouldn't get the salad again since it didn't have much to it, but I would get the pizza again. read more

This place was found when traveling home and wanted a slice of, it said New York Pizza so I went 12 minutes out of my way and figured give it a try. When I walked in the smell of Indian cuisine was much stronger than anything resembling a pizzeria smell. The menu seemed about half pizza toppings that were Indian cuisine based on, this made me nervous but I proceeded anyway as reviews were good and I was here with pizza on my mind . I ordered a slice of cheese, meatballs and pep rolls with a bottle water total was 20.43 which is fair however I am not sure why the lunch special which says daily was not applied which is a drink and a slice for 4.99 but it was only a dollar difference. Waiting for food restraint is empty except myself and employees , no to go orders being made and strange for 1 pm in a Saturday. Started with pep rolls sauce for dipping was ice cold from the fridge they were slightly greasy and a standard roll like pictured or from a pizzeria Cheese slice somehow was well done but soggy , lacked sauce almost zero on it and no crust cheese went right to the end again nothing typical nyc about this . Meatballs decent flavor but can tell from consistency not made in house , sauce had a little acid to it almost sour , was best thing I had and was average at best. Please know you are not going to get what the website or pictures on menu or authentic New York pizza . All in all this place missed and should sell itself as something else . read more

Very slow service for a reheated slice. Nothing New York about this place, even had a musty odor. P

I love their indian pizzas. They have been my go to favs for the variety of pizzas they offer. I hope they come up with offers on the speciality pizzas then we can order more. 5/5 service: was expecting a chain pizza, but is a mom and pop shop ran by an Indian family. Their slices are big as you get in NY, and price is reasonable for the JC-alpharetta area. They have a cool selection of Indian inspired pizzas I am hoping to check out in the future with friends. The flavors remind me of Can Am pizza, a chain of east Indian pizzerias in Washington. Also got an extra slice since they were closing. 3/5 pizza: I hate to be critical here, but the cheese pizza was average at best. It's hard to call it NYC style, sure it was thin crust, but the flop was too severe, not enough speckly on the bottom, and didn't have enough structural integrity. The pizza was heavy on the cheese, which was very oily. My biggest gripe was the tomato sauce was lacking, usually I expect a sweet or fragrant flavor, but theirs is surprisingly mild. I plan on coming here in the future and giving the Indian pies a fair shot, I think that's their true calling card. But if you're looking for an authentic NYC slice shop, I'd turn elsewhere. Support local Asian businesses! read more

This is definitely the place to go for Indian pizza. If you've never had it before, they have 3 flavors- butter chicken, samosa, and paneer. All 3 are terrific, and I'll usually pick what I'm craving that day. You can even split pizzas into 2 different flavors. The samosa is very spicy due to the chutney. We've also had the non-indian pizza and it was ok, but I'll stick to the Indian flavors due to the uniqueness and taste. read more

We ordered takeout. The flavors were good. We ordered chicken and paneer pizza. Chicken pizza had a lot of jalapeños and was pretty spicy. Paneer was equally good. They had big bold text on their packaging asking not to microwave it and bake it instead, which I felt was very thoughtful. A lot of us already know baking is better but don't know the exact temperature. We did 450F as mentioned for 3-4 mins and it came out really crispy. I don't think I can go back to microwaving pizza anymore The slices were huge and we ended up having this for lunch next day. read more

Me and my friend had a dinner at this place on Sunday. For dinner we ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka mix pizza. The pizza was amazing and we loved it. Chicken Tikka is for those who like dry chicken as well as it was spicy. Butter Chicken for those who like little gravy as well as less spicy. Would love to try more pizzas. I have given 4 rn because I have tried just one. As I try other I may change my rating to 5. We definitely loved this place and would try other pizza's as well. read more

I came today for lunch. I work in the area I had a slice of pepperoni and a Miler Lite. The slice was delicious and they have Miler Lite and a few micro brews on tap served in an ice cold glass. They use the small pepperoni that cup up. I love that. The lady at the counter I think is the owner was very cool and knew a lady I work with. I ate at the bar. They have a nice small bar that had the NBA game on. I will be back. Two thumbs up. read more

First timer at Flippin' Pizza. My son was next door picking up five guys and I wanted to try something new in this shopping plaza. Gave Flippin' Pizza a try! Upon walking in theres a definite smell of Indian food, this surprised me as the signage says New York pizza. I personally am not a big fan of Indian Cuisine/spices (and wondered for a moment if this was going to play into my pizza choice). I did see that they offer some Indian style pizzas, however clear indications were that they also offered traditional New York style pizza, so i went with that. Ordered 2 slices of New York pizza and a drink - about $10, pizza arrived fresh and I was excited to give it a try (my family loves pizza and we love to try new pizza places). It looked great! The slices were smaller than i expected, and unfortunately just as i expected I could taste Indian spices or something on the pizza. You can also smell it on the bottom of the pizza for sure. I assume as the pizza is cooked in the oven with other pizzas, any pizza would develop that flavor. My son tried it and never mentioned anything, he didn't pick up on the flavor, however I quickly did. If you love Indian food then this will be great! However, if you are like me and are not a fan of Indian spices, I just want to give you a heads up. Staff was very friendly. read more

I think we found our new favorite pizza spot! We've been recommended this place by so many people for their Indian flavored pizza, and we had to try it out! I love that they let you do different flavors on each half! We got half samosa and half paneer tikka. They flavor is so amazing and authentic without loosing the pizza aspect. It was also pleasantly spicy! Usually the Indian pizza I've had are toned down, but both flavor had a good kick without being too spicy. I can't wait to come back and try the other flavors! One thing that could be improved was that it was a little too crispy, especially the crust, which was a bit hard to chew. Definitely will be coming back here! read more

Really good pizza, cute place. Decent pricing, the only issue I really had was that I had to repeat my order at least 4 times. Don't understand what the problem was. It's counter service and they bring it out to you. Slices are big and they use old world pepperoni cups which I love. Good flavors and thin and slightly crispy NYC style pizza. Would definitely go back. read more

Today 10/8/18 was the second time we got pizza here. While I got a butter chicken and a whitestone slice for myself this time we got a samosa pizza slice for my husband as well. The samosa slice was a little spicy but tasted just like a samosa. Everything was perfect on that one. For the whitestone pizza I found it to be a little bit too oily but the ricotta on there was creamy and delicious. The crust had also gotten too hard after just 5 minutes. The first time I had the butter chicken pizza slice it tasted great but this time around I found the chicken to be too dry and they had forgotten to put the sauce on there as well. I think if they had put the sauce on there though it would have been perfect. I love this place because the slices are only 3.89 and they also have great customer service. This place is a must try. read more

I came in to support local and get a fresh slice of pizza but they did me wrong. I ordered 2 simple slices to go and waited over 20 minutes, even though there was no other customers for a while. If I planned to be there that long, I would not place it to-go. However, that would be fine if the pizza was good but it really tasted like it was made yesterday. I've had frozen pizza that tastes better. Sorry but this is not worth the money. I didn't even finish the food before tossing it. read more
