Waited for almost an hr. Very pricey - approx 20 dollars for pancakes. Yes its fluffy airy and light. After eating it i didnt even feel full. Crazy over hype. Its good but not worth the price. Not to die for.

All in all this place is a pretty pricey option if you're just tryna cop some pancakes! The wait, especially in the morning, lasts an absurdly long time and the pancakes are insanely sweet. I wasn't the one eating, but Id bet that long enough exposure to the smell would be enough to induce diabetes. Chairs are pretty uncomfortable, seating is crowded, and now that I'm remembering all this I'm going to ding it one more star.

TBH, I don't get what the hype is about. Fluffy pancakes. And that queue!? You either queue for roughly an hour to get a seat, or you go to the shop at 9 or 10 am to pick up a voucher for a particular time of day to eat meringue immersed pancakes. Excitement. But I suppose this is a place where new romantic dates can go to keep things interesting before getting to first or second base. Or... you're just caught up in all the queue and hype. The plain one with cream is nice. There's no table service - which probably explains why the queue is so long. You go to the till to order you cakes. So looking forward to savoury pancakes?

I was so intrigued by this cafe for the longest time. There is constantly a long line no matter what the hour is. Finally, my friend and I decided to wait in line and give it a try, and we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY! We arrived on a whim at around 2 pm, and the line took about 15 minutes, which wasn't so bad at all. My friend and I shared a pancake because it comes with a size of 3 and it's quite enormous. We do have to order another drink because the cafe limits one order per customer which is reasonable. The pancake changed my world. I have never imagined pancakes like this before. They were soooo fluffy and thick. You can literally shake the plate and watch the pancake wobble in its delicious goodness. The hype is real!!! That was probably one of the best pancakes I had EVER! Almost cried eating it. And it's so beautifully plated with strawberries and whipped cream, it's definitely Instagram worthy. I also love these adorable candies that come with every seat, so you get something to munch on while the cafe prepares your pancake. Best experience ever!!!! LOOOOOOVE it!!!

Ok, I gotta say, the biggest turn off here is the wait time. Not sure if it is the time that I go there or if it is always that busy. First we waited for more than 1 hour before we can get a table for 3. After that, when we order the pancakes, we were told the wait will be 30 min and at the end, we waited for like 35 min before the pan cakes arrived. So in total, from the time we arrive to the moment we have the pancake on the table, about 1 hour and 45 minutes has gone by... It really feels like I am waiting for some famous rides in Disneyworld or Universal Studio ... Insane wait time.. X_X Back to the food .. by the time we sat down, we don't have the mood to eat any more so we just ordered one pancake dish.... Well, the pan cakes is thick and fluffy and pretty to look at. The pancake itself is rich with egg taste. We picked the special version that has tapioca as toppings. It tasted ok but not exceptionally enough that can give me a wow! Probably because of the previous wait time, I don't know. At the end, this experience alone is less than 3 stars for sure in my view. I probably would not come again because the wait time. Maybe it was a Sat afternoon and it is crowded? doesn't matter ... not coming again...yikes.

If you want fluffy soufflé pancakes as an added dessert or full meal, this should be at the top of your list. While the airiness undermines the compact flavors, it does feel light and delightful. The frappes are worth trying as well. Everything seems to meet the standard but has yet to reach their full potential.

This place was recommended to us by friends in HK to try. So when we came to HK. We had to try! One negative right off the bat. They don't have a lot of space and because of that. The line up is very long. Our family waited about an hour before we were sat down. And so we had to be here about an hour seated to make the wait worthwhile!! We ordered two pancakes. The first pancake was fluffy but really soft. Did not like. It was mushy and it just didn't taste good. The second pancake was better. A little bit more solid, but still fluffy. Service is a little slow. And the food was okay. I think most of it is hype. The pancakes themselves was just "ok" if you don't mind the long wait. Then definitely worth a try. But I personally wouldn't recommend coming back because the food is ok and on top of that the wait times are really long. Not worth it in my opinion.

Strawberry Pancakes!

Very good pancakes for around $120 per plate. Each person needs to order one item even though these are definitely enough to share. Pay beforehand here and sit at a common table. They also have pizza around the corner.

I honestly had no clue what I was expecting from "soufflé pancakes" but I did not like it at all. The flavor was quite light and nice but other than that, this is just a pass for me. Definitely was not worth the hour long wait for brunch.

“The little cafe is situated in Hysan (what a perfect location, you can shop and wait for a table at the same time!) There was a long wait, but it was expected.”

The two photos are from different trips, but I have tried a few things here. I have had the tomato beef macaroni, curry fish balls, French toast, and pineapple butter buns. Everything was amazing, and I think their tomato beef macaroni is my favorite here. Their Hong Kong milk tea is also perfect with just the right amount of sweetness. It is not too bitter or too sweet, just perfect (I like sweet things but not too sweet). The restaurant is a bit tight, but they do offer takeout. Even when it gets busy, customers are usually friendly and quick, especially if they see a long line and they are finishing up soon.

Very long lines here for the breakfast rush (20min wait), but indicative of the food quality (so so…read moregood and worth the wait). There's only about 20 seats, most of which are either bar seating or tiny tables), and it's incredibly cramped, but there's a quick turnaround. You can order to go for a faster line too. We ordered the milk tea, satay beef sandwich, bbq pork macaroni soup, truffle egg sandwich, and egg pineapple bao. The sandwiches were decidedly average, but we really enjoyed the egg pineapple bun! And you definitely need to get the milk tea here. The hot one is smaller and comes with condensed milk, while the cold version is larger but comes without condensed milk. Both are extremely concentrated, but delicious. If you're sensitive to caffeine though, it'll keep you up. Best of all, everything was so cheap - 160 HKD (about $20 USD). Highly recommend checking this place out!
