Hamburger and fries were hot, juicy, and well seasoned. Ketchup was on the table. Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions came on the burger. There was a large variety of cookies and cakes. We were too ful to have any dessert though. When we were finished eating, the kids played games. This is almost like a mini Dave and Busters. The kids had fun and that is all that matters. This was my first time dinning here. I was very impressed when I walked into the place it was brightly lit so I did not need to use my phones light to see the menu I really enjoyed the aviator theme and the different photos and art displayed throughout the place. The hostess was very attentive almost to the point of being obsessive. She asked if I needed more time to view the menu after getting my drinks. I said yes and she must have came back to my table Six times in what seemed to be a five minutes to me I ordered my food six wings inferno flavored and onion rings. I don't want anyone to be discounted from trying this place out based on my experience tonight because I plan on going back to see if it was a fluke. I really enjoyed the onion the batter was seasoned to mike liking and not too thiicknot a coasting on the rings. I'm a big vegetable person so I also enjoyed the celery that was very fresh. The chicken wings were supposed to be hot and unfortunately they were not hot enough for me so not only was the spicy sauce missing the the heat but the flavor was also not what im use to. I also ordered an adult beverage that needed to get a remix. If you like a good spike to your libation you will want to get a n extra shot. The host whom I did not get a chance to introduce myself to was fantastic he made his rounds to all of the tables including mine and was very professional and intintive to all the guess. To wrap it up. Great ambiance Ibwould take my grandchildren here, it is very family friendly. The service seemed a little rushed for my liking and that is speaking only for my server she did her job well just a little too high-strung strung for me . The food just seemed like average bar food. This is a huge place which seats a lot of people. This is good as you most likely will not have to wait to be seated. We were seated right away. The place is not as clean as it could have been and the furnishings needed a refresh. I had the chicken kabobs and they were fantastic. The chicken was seasoned well and the peppers and onions were good. I order the collard greens and fried okra to accompany my kabobs. The greens were just ok but the okra was fried perfectly. Others at the table said their meals were good especially other chicken dishes. There are huge fancy cakes and cookies for dessert in cases at the front. They looked good but we did not get any. read more

Flight Deck ended up being a good choice for our staff meeting. The restaurant is large and provides lots of seating. The decor is unique and definitely lives up to the restaurants name. The food was alright, little more seasoning needed and corrected cook time on things but it was good overall. It was also a large party so definitely understandable. Was in town visiting my friend and we decided to check this place out as my friend lived relatively close. When we arrived, there was a big rush and it took a while for us to get seated. After we were seated, we were met with a pleasant, young gentleman that took our drink and food order. The food did take quite a bit to come out, but given the circumstances it was ok. I ordered the pork chop meal with mac n cheese and collards... and it was BOMB! As a southerner, this was the real deal! Pork chop was seasoned perfectly and the sides matched. This is also a great place for families as there is an arcade attached to it. Definitely a fun place for kids and adults like, and it will be a place I will continue to visit when I'm in town! read more

The food was good, nothing like amazing you need to come back, we got the Cordon Bleu and was the best; chicken tenders and waffles sweet potatoes fries which were good snd the Waffle fries I would get again; kids Spaghetti with a ROCK hard bread; kids corndog which was decent. The staff came by every so often to check on us but then disappeared when we needed the check. Fun having the arcade to entertain the little kids, we were in our own room that wasn't very decorated to that was disappointing. They gave a free cookie for a birthday and that was amazing! All flash, no substance. I haven't had lunch here in more than a decade. I remember that there were good sandwiches to be had way back then. The decor has gone next level since those days and it's well done. The service was very good. But the food is not anything that would entice me to return. My wife had chicken noodle soup. I don't think it's made in house. It had three pieces of chicken in it. She asked if they could make half a grilled cheese sandwich. No, that's not possible. My Reuben sandwich was more Reuben adjacent. It consisted of mostly sauerkraut with some cut up squares of some sort of dried out corn beef lunch meat. The rye bread was inferior, it couldn't hold up to a Reuben without breaking up. There was a slight texture of crustiness on it as if it had briefly seen the inside of a toaster oven. It was definitely not griddled, and you couldn't call it toasted. The thousand island dressing was on the side. I gave it two stars for the sake of a cheerful staff, but the food is truly one star. read more

I love mostly everything about this place. It's a true gem! My only problem was the smell of the bathroom. It wasn't stink, you just could tell it was the bathroom and I'm not a fan of smelling the bathroom around my food, lol! Im sure this can be adjusted based on where you sit in the restaurant. Outside of that, everything else was 5 star in my opinion. I found this place on yelp after searching for a place to celebrate my young child's birthday. I loved that it had kid friendly food as well as adult comfort meals. The food reminded me of diner food, something your Grandma would cook. Nothing too fancy, but they got options ranging from steak, fried or baked options, and veggie and gluten free options. We came in the middle of the week and at times, my child had the entire arcade to himself. He felt like a VIP especially since it was his birthday, lololol! $20.00 took us a long was in the arcade. I was tired, but of course my kids had a ball LOL! The staff singed "happy birthday" and gave a cookie with a candle in it. Super sweet! Thanks for making my child's birthday special! read more

The food is tasteless. I'm not sure when cheese is added to a hamburger steak and onions and mushrooms. Also ordered a chicken quesadilla, it lacks cheese and has bacon, so it's basically just chicken and bacon. The broccoli had a nasty taste. The "Greek" potatoes had no flavor, and seemed to have been cooked and then frozen. I'm not sure what is going on with this menu, but I wasted $70 bucks last night. I got the food to go. My husband & I have been going to Flight Deck since 2019, and we have never had a bad experience! The service is always timely, & the food is great. We even had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner there 2 years ago. Everyone at the rehearsal dinner loved the food & atmosphere. Our guests really enjoyed the Arcade! This time I ordered delivery through one of the delivery services and still I was not disappointed. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu over rice with Mac and cheese. It's one of my favorite dishes from here. The flavor and portion is perfect. It was well packed and the the presentation was great. We ate here last night and we had a very good meal. The place is pretty awesome! I love the huge game room. Lots and lots of games to play. There's also a large private dining room if needed. Oh..... the desserts are to die for! There's an entire display of them to choose from. Very hard decision. I had the Hamburger Steak, collards, and Greek potatoes and it was delicious. Our service was good and it was very obvious the owner wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal. My only little problem was the confusion when we arrived. Wow, I have been passing this yummy delishNess for yrs! The secret is out I will be a frequent flyer from now on... Parking is a bit tight in the shopping plaza. Quite a few other eatery's are located here as well, it well worth the stop if you are in Lexington to just check out the whole plaza. Customer service was professional, we were served quickly. They do have a arcade in the back, I will review that next time. Plenty of seating for large groups. The menu has something for everyone. Our waiter was so nice, made sure we had everything we needed and more! The food was hot, presence was good, and yum yum. The servings are huge and the food is seasoned well. It was busy when I went for dinner and was seated quickly. I didn't get a great feeling that it was clean and this was confirmed by the fact that my arms stuck to the table. I'm not sure what they clean those acrylic table tops with, but there's definitely a residue that doesn't invite a feeling of sanitation. They tried to be too cute with the menu and it's actually difficult to decipher. Everything has an aeronautical name, so you have to read the description of every item to understand what you're getting. The staff and server were very nice. I ordered a hamburger and they brought to me a chicken sandwich.... yep......SO, I had to wait another 20-25 minutes before being served a hamburger that was average and overcooked. I had to track down a server to get a refill on the sweet tea. So in general, just not a great experience. The ambience is unique and certainly capitalizes on aeronautics and the movies. In general, just below average to disappointing. Nothing stood out or made me want to go back. I am baffled at the higher ratings this restaurant has received. read more

Fun atmosphere built around aeronautical and planes. Good menu and food is well portioned. The place gets busy and it connected to an arcade so the kids love both the restaurant and the arcade experience. I've been here quite a few times but never dined outdoors and somehow didn't realize the expansive outdoor seating. We were pleasantly surprised by the lack of traffic noise and enjoyed the ambiance. They were very busy and our service was excellent. The food was good, nothing over the top but I will say we were all disappointed in the Greek potatoes. They lacked any discernible lemon flavor whatsoever. Although we didn't get dessert, the choices are vast & quite delectable. When we arrived, we were told 20-25 minutes for a table. We waited more than 45 to be seated. Once seated we had to ask for a server after waiting 10 minutes. A gentleman took our drink order and passed it to the server who looked beat. I give the servers credit. It was very busy the night we chose to go. Management really should have had more staff to help. We got our drinks quickly and the waitress (Ruby) We finally ordered our food. Nachos for the appetizer,, Child's cheese pizza, a marauder (roast beef), Warhawk (hot italian), the fury (rueben) and juggernaut (French dip no onion). The server walked by us several times while we sat with empty drinks and didn't bother to look or ask if we needed another drink. We ordered an appetizer thinking it would help stave off our hungry grand children while we waited for dinner but they brought the nachos out 2 minutes before dinner. This place was such a disappointment. The atmosphere is awesome. There is a lot going on. There is even a little arcade attached. The food was average. My husband ordered salmon and received chicken. We informed the server, but my husband ate it, due to the rest of us already being finished with our meals. The waitress never came back until the end to give us our ticket. The kids pizza wasn't cut, and it was so hard that the knifes that you get at the table couldn't cut through it. The waitress was very nice. However, I wouldn't say the same for the staff at the front. They seemed annoyed to even be there. We could have just caught them on an off night. We won't be returning. After running a half marathon with a friend in Lexington, we headed here for a post-race meal. We wanted to treat ourselves, have a quick lunch so we could get on the road, and not spend too much- and Flight Deck was perfect. The decor of the restaurant is airplane themed and it's fun to look at while you're waiting on your food. You'll also want to take pictures of things or with things (especially with Superman). I ordered the "blue plate special", with the fried flounder and mac and cheese and carrots as my two sides. My meal also came with hushpuppies. My friend had the grilled chicken meal. Our food was delicious, and I highly recommend the macaroni and cheese! I'm a sucker for a good mac and cheese, to the point where I don't always order it at restaurants because nothing compares to homemade, but this was PRETTY close. The flounder was large and seasoned well- I squeezed lemon on it, but it didn't need tartar sauce. The honey glazed carrots were good, although not a showstopped compared to the mac and cheese and flounder. At least I could check off "Eat Veggies" for the day. The dessert case is huge with tons of cake, cheesecake, and cookie options. I added on one of those Heath bar cookies to my meal because 1.) the cookie was the size of my head and 2.) I needed to replenish 13.1 miles of calories. The $1.25 to add the cookie, when you order a blue plate special, is a great deal. You have to add it when you place your order, but trust me and just do it! The service was good and the food came out quickly and hot. We were in and out of the restaurant in under an hour, and the price was right (under $30 for both of us). I'm rating based on one visit, but I'll definitely return if I'm in the area. read more
