The restaurant is easy to find as there is a sign high up on a pole. The parking lot is paved and offers plenty of spaces with handicapped parking next to the entrance. There is also a drive through along the right side of the building. Seating is a mix of tables and booths. The ordering counter is to the right as you come in with the menu board above. We were greeted as we walked in and told to sit anywhere after we placed our order. The food was brought to the table in about ten minutes. Unfortunately, only one item was correct. Instead of leaving the correct order, both were returned to the kitchen. The correct order was placed on the counter and sat while the other order was made. When the other order was complete about ten minutes later, both were brought to the table. As supplied, the Fox burger was below average. The veggies were fresh but the meat had cooled considerably and had little taste. The bun was OK but could have been fresher. The fries were no longer hot. They were a little undercooked as well, being soft without the crisp outside. The corrected order, another Fox burger, was better. The veggies were fresh and the meat was hot on this burger but still had little taste. The fries were warm at best but were cooked properly with a crisp outside. The onion rings were fresh and hot. The restaurant was about half full and there was plenty of staff but no one checked on us throughout the meal. There was no explanation regarding the incorrect order. There was a lively discussion regarding some relationship one of the servers was having which provided the show accompanying the meal, but it seemed to distract the staff. read more

My first time eating here and it was fantastic. They've got a real diner vibe going on here. We got Smokey dogs w a drink and onion rings. Everything was fantastic. The awesome customer service added a lot to the experience of dining in as well. The lady taking orders seemed to know everyone coming in and if she didn't, she knew you by the time you left. It looks clean. My first visit. The prices vary wildly. I got a hotdog with mustard, onions and chili with a side of wing chips. I was not impressed with the hot dog. It looked and tasted like it had been in the water for the second day, very pale and no flavor. The chili was homemade, but not to my liking. It was sweet tasting. The onions were fresh. I didn't see or taste any mustard. The chips were cooked nicely, but they were so salty I couldn't eat them. If you like mom-and-pop places with just good comfort food, check them out. It's small and got a little busy on a Saturday at 6pm, but it was a nice stop after 6 hours on the road. My wife enjoyed her Swiss mushroom burger and I liked the fried flounder and shrimp. The fries were too heavily salted for me. They did quickly bring a new order, but those fries were a little undercooked. The dining area was clean and minimal. Easy to get in and out. Some might be bothered by the smell of an oil fryer. But I grew up with such places and it felt like home. Staff were friendly and attentive. I get the feeling many people do take out as that was the first question we were asked. I was looking for a new place, for me, to grab lunch. When I walked in the young lady at the counter was SO nice and friendly. I told her this was my first visit. She imediately showed me the menu and explained some to the best lunches to me. There were plenty of seats and even tables outside. It was clear this was a great neighborhood place. I saw people come in and were very friendly with the staff. Neighbors came in seeing other neighbors! It was a really fun atmosphere! Once my fish burger and onion rings were done I enjoyed my lunch. The fish was well cooked and tasted fresh and good! The onion rings reminded me of the ones I would get growning up in Boston (loved them!!).
