I went here for my birthday and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was worth it…read more I ordered the steak, my boyfriend got the lobster ravioli, and we added salmon to the mix because why not go all in on a birthday dinner. Every single plate was hitting. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked, seasoned well, and actually had flavor all the way through. The lobster ravioli was rich but not heavy, and the salmon was flaky and done right, not dry at all. What really made it though was the service. They were attentive without hovering, kept the drinks coming, and made it feel like a special night without being extra about it. For a birthday dinner, that matters. If you're going, don't go playing small. Order what you actually want. It's one of those places where you lean into the experience and enjoy it. Solid food, great service, and a good spot for something worth celebrating.

Our server recommended the lobster toast, but we ordered the dumplings as an appetizer as well...they were great. The lobster toast was light but crispy and full of flavor. The poached egg added a creamy element, I ate every bite. I'd love to come back for dinner :)

It's truly special when a server makes the effort to get to know everyone at the table, make jokes and join in on the laughs. I was visiting Columbus for the weekend, and throughout the rest of my stay after dinner, I can say this meal was a highlight! The atmosphere was beautiful, and we were seated right away! The cocktails were amazing, I had a strawberry fields. Now as for the short ribs, they melted in my mouth! They paired perfectly with the risotto, truly a great plate of food that felt like home! I have already recommended this place to friends visiting Columbus soon!

I've honestly hesitated to write this review because this has been one of my family's favorite…read morerestaurants, and our experiences here have consistently been excellent--until now. We visited yesterday around 3 PM after seeing the new Mario movie. We didn't have a reservation, but seating wasn't an issue at that time. As always, the restaurant was clean, lively, and welcoming. The staff was very kind, and our waitress was attentive throughout our visit. We ordered many of our usual favorites, but my entrée--the braised short rib--was not quite up to the standard I've come to expect. While the meat itself was still tender, moist, and flavorful, the risotto was disappointing. It lacked its usual creamy texture and was noticeably too thick. Additionally, the dish was served with only carrots as the root vegetable, whereas in the past it has included a variety of vegetables that really elevated the overall flavor and presentation. I was especially disappointed because this was actually the first time I remembered to take a photo of my meal before digging in. I came in fully intending to finally leave a glowing five-star review based on all of our previous great experiences--but unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to that expectation. This was surprising, especially given how consistently great this dish--and the restaurant overall--has been during our previous visits. We've dined here at least five times this year and even celebrated our son's third birthday here, so this experience felt out of character. One difference worth noting is that we typically visit for dinner, and this was our first time coming during the afternoon. It's possible there may be differences in the kitchen or service during that time. We do plan to return, as we're hoping this was just an off day. This place has earned a lot of goodwill from us over time, but we wanted to share this experience in case it's helpful for others.

Ask me about going to the Grapevine not knowing what kind of place it was... Lots on the menu that I wanted to try. I got the crab corn fritters and the tempura cheese curds. Very good, not very healthy- I had tried to go to a salad place but traffic was crazy. Curds are cubes for some reason. Perfectly fried. The fritters are basically upscale hush puppies. Bits of real crab, and corn; less than I'd hoped. Still good. Both had sweet/savory sauces. Two apps was a bit much for me but I didn't arrive starving. Great service. Good music (okay, tunes I know from Kidzbop, but these are the originals.) Place has a very techno but also traditional vibe. Great service. The restrooms are surprisingly somewhat gendered. He/him they/them, and she/her they/them. On the he/him side, the urinals are cut away beer barrels, which are kind of cool. Parking is, well, Short North. I went on a Thursday night and traffic and parking were bad but not horrendous. At peak, good luck. Good experience all in all, casual but swanky atmosphere, good food and service. A few things Kid K would even eat, so might be back.

We ordered both! Meatballs, Short Rib Pizza, & Truffle Pizza all hit the spot. The meatballs were huge and the toast points made it a meal on its own. Short Rib Pizza was nice balance of meat and cheesy. The Gouda Creama was so good I wish it was available on the side. Truffle pizzas can be overbearing but due to the balsamic drizzle it helped made it just the right combination. The pizzas can be shared and is the best way to have multiple options. If I get a dessert, it's typically not in the liquid form. But when I saw Pistachio Martini, I would be drinking my dessert. It was rich and creamy but not too heavy. It was so good my friend ordered one after they took a sip of mine! Staff were friendly and offered recommendations. Missed out on the Happy Hour but it looked great. Tip: There is one table literally next to the door so be careful of a cool breeze that can hit you every time the door opens. Fortunately for us, we didn't end up sitting there.
