Located within Pinnacle's Golf course, the restaurant is beautiful. There is plenty of parking in their lot outside. It wasn't hard to get a reservation and there is plenty of seating. I would come back once the patio is opened. We were seated right away and it was still happy hour. Our waitress did take a very long time to check in on us which was a bummer because we then missed the last bit of happy hour for our second round of drinks. The food came out pretty quick and everything was very good and well seasoned. If you get the cake slice, it could probably feed about 4-6 people. It is MASSIVE and very good and moist. read more

I was hoping to find a nice place to go in Grove City instead of having to drive into Columbus, but I guess we'll keep making the drive into the big city. The golf course grounds are beautiful and the restaurant building is delightful. When making reservations, I was asked if there was any special occasion and I selected Yea, celebrating anniversary. No acknowledgement when we came for dinner. Not a big deal. Just don't asked the question if you aren't going to do anything with the info. Sat outside on a nice early evening. Our waitress was pleasant and cheerful. The food took over thirty minutes to arrive on a slow night. Never saw a manger, but the server acknowledged and provided dessert, which was the best part of the meal. The charcuterie board looked like the bought a package from Pepperidge Farm and laid it out on a plate with plastic ramekins. Lobster bisque was so thick it seemed like a dip. My fish was cooked well done and the rice was toss crispy and tough it was inedible. My bet is it was left under a heat lamp for twenty minutes, letting the sauces dry out on the plate, while the pantry cook scrounged together a charcuterie board. I should say, all the bar food we saw looked great. Maybe this is just a place where they do more burgers, wings, and fish chips. I want to start out by saying that our brunch out on the patio was amazing. Great service by Lauren. The food was good. Nothing over the top food wise, but still good. But sadly the negative review starts when we went inside to the bar area to have another drink and the bartender decided to have an attitude with us from the moment we stepped foot inside. We asked if we were able to sit at a specific table, to ensure it wasn't reserved since they were busy at the time. She looked at us and said "yup that's a table, you can sit". From there she came over and asked "are you just going to hang out or buy some drinks". We were so caught off guard as we never implied we were not there to purchase drinks. My wife and I were extremely disappointed with this visit. Our waitress was not attentive at all. My salad came out with the dinner even though I asked for it not to, drink refills were very slow, and she rarely checked back to see if we needed anything. My wife wanted to order a second drink but never got the chance because the server took too long to return. We were the only group there, yet we watched at least five staff members walk by without acknowledging us or offering any assistance. It feels like the service has declined, and part of the issue may be that the automatic 20% gratuity removes the incentive for servers to provide quality service. If guests are tipping regardless of their experience, some servers seem to put in less effort. Unless this is addressed, my wife and I will likely choose not to return. read more

So instead of tipping based on actual satisfaction, they gouge you for 20% more, so if the service stinks you still have to pay 20% toward the bad service. I was really excited about coming here for my Great Grandma and Is birthdays. I came with a big group and we had a reservation on the patio with shade. The restaurant is beautiful and the view outside is so nice. We ordered two bottles of mimosas and that was super nice and very very reasonably priced. We did however have issues with the food orders. It really seemed to depend on what you ordered. I got the chicken and waffles and it was pretty good, no complaints. However the BLT that came out for my aunt, the egg was literally blue. We have no idea and when we said something to the waitress she just kinda laughed and was like I have no idea why it's blue and walked away. My mom's husband ordered pancakes, they were very disappointing, flat, no flavor. The biscuits and gravy I was told was good. The burger I was told was good as well. We were also supposed to be getting some dessert or something for the birthdays and that did not happen. I think vibes wise, it's a nice place but I wouldn't come back for the food again. read more

Our waitress on Sunday for brunch was Lauren and she was the absolute sweetest waitress we could have ever had. 5 stars for her service and for the amazing brunch. I got the crab Benedict and it was truly amazing. The food didn't come out too quick or too slow. We were able to enjoy the table side mimosa and didn't feel rushed. Even the hostess was kind enough to switch us from inside to outside because we wanted to enjoy the nice day. We discovered this place by seeing a tik tok and reel about it--so great work to your social media team. If i could rate the bar experience separately I would but unfortunately, the bartender completely tainted the experience so much so that I felt compelled to leave this in the review. After brunch we decided to go to the bar and grab a drink. There were not many people in the bar area outside of the bartender and maybe a patron sitting at the bar. When i walked in, I looked at the bartender and pointed to a 4 top table and the bartender with way too much attitude said "are you asking if you can sit there" i said yes, and she said go ahead. We were all completely thrown off guard by this. She spoke so rudely to us and it was unexpected. Then she came over and again very rudely with too much attitude "are you guys getting drinks or hanging out". This question can be read in a nice way but she did not say it nicely AT ALL. We said we'd be getting drinks and she dropped menus and walked away. We discussed as a group how incredibly rude she was and said we'd rather leave. We got up and left and went to another bar in Grove City. I have never been treated so terribly before by a waitstaff. I'm not sure if she did this because she assumed we weren't members (no way for her to know that) or if she was just having a bad day. But that attitude she gave cost her all four of us NOT buying drinks and tipping. I'm neglecting to leave her name as she'll know who she is just by reading this review. It started with our reservation for 4 and being sat at a 5-top near the patio door. Generally waters are served in the first few minutes, this time it took 20. Tried this place out and the ambiance was nice and depending on where you sat inside you could see the golf course. They also had outdoor seating that was closer to the golf course. The waiter was really nice and attentive. Finally the food it was just ok. The best thing was the mashed potatoes. I had pizza and I should have read previous reviews. It did taste like something you would get at an amusement park. The other person with me order fish & chips and it looked like it was over fried but they said it taste good. I probably would not recommend it based on how it looked. I also had the pineapple cake it was pretty good so I would recommend that for dessert. If you are looking for ambiance and good pictures then this is your place but if you are looking for good food this is probably not the place. read more

The lobster bisque is fantastic! I usually get it with a salad. Servers are knowledgeable, and the first time I went told me a tip had been added when I started to leave a tip (tips are automatically added to bills). Stopped in for a happy hour around 4 pm with an entire group of non-members. We were able to sit at a high top table in the bar area quickly. The service was good from the bar staff though sometimes it took a while for a drink to arrive. We ordered a variety of appetizers: the fried mac and cheese was my favorite! I also enjoyed my drinks: White Peach Sangria to start which wasn't as peachy as I hoped. Food; My Vegan partner had the Taco Salad and had them remove items and add some additional items, and they did as ordered. Reservations are recommended. We happened to dine at Cimi's during restaurant week. The menu options all sounded delightful! When you walk in the views of the golf course are stunning. We got a seat next to the fireplace (yay!). The restaurant is beautiful. The service was fantastic. We got there a bit early in the evening, but it filled up quickly. They bring the most delightful bread. I coould have filled up on just the bread basket. The butter is flavored and soft, it spreads easily on the warm bread. For restraunt week, I ordered the bruschetta, pasta, and the apple crisp. It was all delicious and full of flavor. My sister got the buffalo dip (yum), pot roast, and chocolate mousse cake. There was a lot of food for the value of the restaurant week promotion. Cimi's is a good place to go for special vacations. I will definitely be back. read more

My girlfriends and I stopped by Cimi's for dinner one night during a girls' night. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! While we were there, I believe there was a wedding reception going on next door as well. The bar and restaurant were super busy! They were so busy that our waitress (Katie) ended up giving us complimentary pretzel bites due to the long wait times we had for ordering drinks/food, getting drinks/food, etc. The pretzel bites were good; however, the beer cheese sauce tasted a little "off" - it seemed too "powdery" for us. The honey mustard sauce was good though! For drinks, we started with the lemon drop martinis! These were absolutely delish! We had a few rounds of these and were feeling pretty good by the time we left! I also had a Moscow mule which was good too! For dinner, I ordered the Caesar Salad with Salmon and a side of Garlic Fries. The salad was your standard Caesar Salad with Salmon. The Garlic Fries were a bit deceiving as I envisioned actual Garlic Fries (fries sprinkled with garlic/garlic seasoning); however, they were just a side of regular fries served with a side of garlic aioli. I love trying new things and this day I really wanted to get out of the city. My goal was I wanted to sit on a patio where I didn't hear any cars, so we came here and had a lovely time. My boyfriend and I shared a wedge salad which I didn't take a photo of but we really enjoyed it along with the fresh bread and butter. Then I ordered a seafood pasta that had a pesto sauce. I must have misread the menu because I didn't realize it was going to be a cream based sauce, which was a little on the heavy side for me, but it was good. It said there was shrimp, scallops, and and other seafood but all I saw in my dish was shrimp. I did enjoy my pasta it just wasn't exactly what I thought I had ordered. My boyfriend had fish and chips and it was delicious. He loved it. I had a couple glasses of and he had a few beers, which we really enjoyed. We loved the patio and overall had a great time. Definitely not with the price. This used to be a nice place to go for special occasions. Ambiance is great but quality of goods takes away from the atmosphere. Waiter was very nice but seemed to be handling all of the tables & couldn't keep up. Hostess was clueless. We had made reservations to celebrate a birthday and asked to be seated indoors. They tried to seat us outdoors and when I complained, they brought us indoors and started to put multiple tables together. We had a party of eight. They had two empty round tables that seated eight. I asked if we could be placed at round table for ease of conversation. They moved us there, but seemed quite put out by my request. It is important to note that there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. I ordered the beer battered cod because I heard that it was good. It was very overcooked almost to the point of being burnt. The fries were hand cut but tasted like the fish. I don't think they have changed the fryer grease lately. My daughter ordered pizza & said it tasted like something you would get at an amusement park. Crust was soggy and cheese quickly congealed. Others at the table ordered margarita chicken, a burger, & shrimp scampi. They said those meals were good. We moved to the area and thought this was a lovely spot. Been coming for months for dinner and drinks. The service really is hit-and-miss, the bartenders can be nice at times and arrogant and aloof at other times. Last week, we went in for dinner and drinks, had a good time, bartender asked "do you need me to get you anything else?" We jokingly replies "yes, our check slip, otherwise you can't get your tip". She tells us "oh no worries, we include the tip already". Uhmmm... what ?!? Apprently they add a 20% automatic gratuity no matter the size of your party. Fault on us apparently for not scrutinizing the bill each time we came, because we have been tipping 20-25% on top of that !! We were justifiably upset about this and the dry reply was "well, it's listed in fine print on our menu". Apparently they are used to people being upset about this because they told us " you can go upstairs and see our accountant and she will reverse all those past charges for you". This is utterly ridiculous practice and shows that they do not care for their customers at all. I'm all for hefty tips for great service, but not 45% ! Buyer beware. We will not return because the entire thing felt shady and backhanded. Food was good in quality, but the pasta sauce was a bit overly starched (I know beurre blanc used heavy cream and butter, but it's still too starchy - I don't like pasta water but that's ok). French Onion Soup was extremely delicious and not disappointing at all, salad dressing was fresh and perfectly made. Salmon spinach salad was well balanced (crunch, sweet, sourness, etc). Where do I start... the drinks, well my drink was good. We came during July's restaurant week, our first time. The restaurant was not busy. We were sat near the patio door which would have been fine except it was hot outside and the staff and patrons kept going in and out making our AC area warm. We ordered drinks and put in our 1st and 2nd course orders. We got our drinks and bread and then waited, and waited... about 40m only to be told the 1st course of our choice was no longer available and they had chosen an alternative for us. I also failed to mention of the 3 options for 1st course only one was available. Which I didn't want but they did gladly substitute for something I did wish to eat. (This gained Cimi the second star, the first was the atmosphere, the restaurant is beautiful.) However, once the 1st course came, 4 minutes later the 2nd course came. In my experience, that's usually not how apps work but ok. They did offer to take the 2nd course back while we ate our apps. I declined, cause what are you going to do put it in the microwave to warm it up? All the dishes were already cold. Go figure. Once finished, maybe 20-25m later, we placed our dessert order. And waited and waited, about another 25 or so minutes. I asked for a to go container and our checks as soon as the desserts were placed on our table... and then waited and waited again. Now, after seeing probably 3 different servers help us, if I am not mistaken our actual server was bartending as well, not knocking the hustle but we didn't get much attention, we were forced to pay 18% gratuity. I generally like to give 20% or more if it's earned, but nope this experience was very lacking for such a nice place. Unpopular opinion, if you are going to force gratuity, just include in your prices, don't have your patrons pay it, and pay your employees. Just saying... We were not informed of any delays until it was too late. My water glass was completely empty before I had to say umm "May I have some more, please?" When asked about the 18% it was standard practice for their restaurant, umm do they do that now? Feels to me you can give a crappy experience and you still get a decent tip? Trust, I am patient I understand the pandemic hit everyone hard, but this was pretty bad. Went there for pizza and beer week . The restaurant and view of the golf course are beautiful. Ordered sriracha meatballs as they advertise being an Italian restaurant. They come, and there are 4 small meatballs. I take one and eat it, I tell my wife to try and and tell me what do you think it is. She does, looks at me and says it's a gfs meatball. Really 4 gfs meatballs for $12 and you call yourself an Italian restaurant ?? Very disappointing make your own meatballs. The pizzas (pep and spicy italiano). Both were good but not great. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, but don't know if I'll be back. read more

My family came from out of town to visit family. We went to Cimi's to celebrate my sons birthday. The atmosphere was relaxing and very accommodating. The food was really good and the service was on point. The kids loved running around (and I never mind them running off some energy). The chocolate cake was outstanding as well!
