Sometimes the best adventures are the simplest ones, and this ended up being one of my favorite…read moreways to spend this morning in Tempe! My friend and I rented a Surrey double bike at Tempe Town Lake, and from the moment we walked up, everything was effortless. The staff greeted us with a smile, got us checked in quickly, explained everything we needed to know, and had us rolling in just a few minutes. It's always refreshing when an activity starts with such friendly service. Once we hit the path, we spent the next hour cruising along the lake, taking in the gorgeous waterfront views, people-watching, and laughing our way around every turn. There's something so nostalgic and carefree about riding a Surrey bike--it instantly makes you feel like a kid again. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing, light exercise, and quality time with a friend. If you're looking for a unique date idea, a family outing, or just a fun excuse to get outside with your bestie, I can't recommend this enough. It's one of those simple experiences that ends up creating some of the best memories. Pro tip: Arizona's sunshine definitely doesn't play around! Pack the sunscreen, bring plenty of water and maybe even throw on a hat before you head out. You'll be able to relax and enjoy every minute of the ride. We'll absolutely be back for another ride around the lake. Sometimes the best way to experience Tempe isn't from behind a windshield--it's pedaling through it with the people who make you laugh the most.

We tied our tubes together and floated down the river. We couldn't believe how clean the river was and the rest areas were litter free. This trip renewed my spirit of our country. The help and respect that we received floating down the river was unbelievable. No matter what color or what language they spoke they were there to help us out. Also the the Safety team at the end of the ride. 2 were stuck in the tube at the end of the ride and weren't able to get out with a semi fast water and started to float away but there was the was the Safety Patrol to rescue them. 1 person in our party walked with a cane and after they got him out of the tube they stuck with him and even escorted him up to the bus and wanted to stay until the bus arrived. Extraordinary business!I can't say enough for the adventure and it was all due to Salt Water Tubing . Thank you!

But I highly…read morerecommend buying your own tubes to own forever, and if you have the opportunity take 2 cars to go to the top and drop off spot so you don't have for rent a tube. If you own your own tube, you can still rent a bus ride for $19. This is definitely an Arizona summer classic. Wow!! I'm updating to say that in all my 21 years I didn't realize that there was a difference between rafting and tubing and that there were 2 different of options on what you can do to go down the river. How freaking cool and thank you to the business owner for educating me!

Whenever i called him, he was always available or called me back as soon as he could. I couldn't ask for better service. Product: we rented the new CanAm UTV. It was amazing! we brought it to the sand dunes and it performed at a top notch level. the other people at the Dunes complimented it constantly. He also includes a trailer for the rental. Professional: When we arrived to pick up the CanAm, Travis was ready to greet us. he gave us a full tutorial on the vehicle and safety instructions. He had extra helmets for us and a extra gas container (recommended for a weekend trip). When we realized we didn't have our tow hitch, of course he came through and had one for us to borrow! Travis is on top of everything! I would highly recommend him.

This resulted in 4 MPG reduction by my truck for the trip, but we SAVED over $2k by not renting a local boat from one of the marinas in Page. This X30 boat is far from new, but it runs very well, starting up perfectly every time. We used it to ski, surf (it has 2 ballasts), wakeboard, and also on a few longer runs to the marina and Rainbow Bridge. Tons of power, booming stereo, room for a few families at once, and a very large 60 gallon tank. Travis was very accommodating with our mid-week pick up and drop-off schedule, handled hitching up the trailer, and provided plenty of extras (ropes, boards, skis, 14 life jackets). I visited his shop and saw all of the other things he rents out - this guy knows his power toys. I will definitely rent from this company again.

Reserving a spot and kayak is easy on the online website. Once you navigate down to the main road to the Guest Ranch, it can be a little confusing as they always have a roadblock as you progress towards the parking lot. Just proceed past the sign to the parking lot ahead. After parking, walk back towards the ranch and check in. Guest services will provide a wrist band as well as a parking pass to place on your dashboard. Once your reservation time is ready, you will be provided a quick orientation of the equipment, navigation of the river and where the staff will pick you up at the end of your float. The staff is always super helpful. Be sure to bring plenty of water and a carabiner to hook on your dry bag or backpack to the kayak. Even though the majority of the river is an easy float, there are some small rapids. You may accidentally flip the kayak if you get caught in a tough spot on the River. This will prevent you from losing your bag! I'm experienced and have flipped once or twice. Depending on the time of year and water flow, the float can take 2 or 3 hours. Beautiful views of the landscape, wildlife including various birds and the gorgeous wild horses! At the end of the float, the staff will load your kayaks and take you back to the Guest Ranch. In the main building, be sure to stop by the gift shop prior or after the float for souvenirs or in case you forgot supplies you may need. They have several items including sunscreen, water shoes, hats, shirts snd much more. I found prices to be reasonable. This is the perfect place to bring out of town visitors. They will love it.

I was able to pick up two kayaks today in my sedan with no roof rack and get out on the lake for a beautiful afternoon. The owner helped us pick out where to go and gave us some tips. Lower Salt allowed me to change my reservation because I was nervous about weather and even though they were short on staff they made sure someone was there on the day of pickup to help load my boats up and get us on the lake. Everyone I've worked with there has been friendly, informative and helpful. I will continue to rent my kayaks from them whenever I want to get out on the lakes or the Salt. I can't recommend them enough!

The main loop is about 5.4 to 5.7 miles long, making it perfect for a steady, breezy workout. Tips for Walkers vs. Bikers:Walking: Stick to the main loops but be warned - if you are walking during the summer time, it can get extremely humid right along the water body. Biking: If you are on wheels, cyclists have access to a longer loop lane that extends across the bridge. Safety Note: If you are on foot, do not wander too far out to the edge of the lake perimeter on the east side toward Tempe Marketplace. If you venture down toward the swampy ends near the edge of the lake, keep your eyes peeled and watch out for rattlesnakes! Logistics & Views: Parking is a breeze here with plenty of easily accessible options situated all around the lake. Definitely a staple spot in Tempe for a good outdoor session!
