I came to this location to exchange a pair of socks that didn't quite fit. "Exchange a pair of socks that you already wore? No store allows that!" you say? Well, Fleet Feet is NOT like most stores. They offer a 60-day exchange / refund on pretty much everything they sell. They want each customer to be 100% happy with each purchase, and they fully know that sometimes the only way to find out if something is a good fit (literally), is to try it for a while and see how it goes. In my case, I got blisters on one of my feet with the socks I'd purchased, and the extremely helpful employee diagnosed the issue as the pair I was returning being too large. Having my doubts, I followed his advice and tried the medium size. He was EXACTLY right! No blisters at all with the medium size! This location is VERY large, despite it looking like it would be small from the parking lot. They have a huge selection of running shoes, socks, insoles, massage guns, massage therapy items, energy gels, sunglasses, sportswear, sports bras, etc. The staff at Fleet Feet is literally unparalleled in their expertise and helpfulness in my experience (I've been to two locations). I'm new to walking (lifelong asthmatic with exercise being one of the biggest triggers), and Fleet Feet's 3D scans of one's feet, analysis of pressure as one walks on a pressure plate, the huge product selection, and vast knowledge of their products made a literal night and day difference in my walking. I can now walk 7 miles at a brisk pace without the almost unbearable leg pain that I experienced in my previous footwear. I NEVER would have expected that a proper pair of shoes with carefully selected insoles and proper socks could make any notable difference at all, let alone a change that LITERALLY enables me to do what I set out to do. The shop looks good... and maybe it had good products. But I waited so long that I finally walked out. The salesman was nice enough but rather than selling products they seemed intent on ensuring that the other customers were walker through a deeply intense podiatry lesson. All I wanted was a comfortable pair of shoes and I just got shuttled around for more than 15 minutes. I was hoping it wouldn't be like "Good Feet". I'm convinced it wasn't that bad (don't get me started on that weird place) and it wasn't but I guess if you have a lot of time to waste, fine. I would say that the sales guy seemed proud that their insoles were "only" $55. No, not a racket like Good Feet but my sales guy had plenty of time to talk about selling insoles but couldn't even get me some shoes to try. I won't go back. read more

Amazing experience! I stopped in yesterday and Jennifer helped me. I have been a runner off and on for ten years now. Recently, my feet have been killing me. After spending some time with Jennifer it's no wonder. My shoes were crud, so were my socks. I was even lacing my shoes wrong lol She scanned my feet, helped me get the right size, fitted me for inserts and helped me pick out socks that make my feet feel like they are in heaven. She showed me how to properly lace my shoes for my feet. I will never EVER buy running shoes anywhere else again. I am so excited to get back to running. So I went to the store originally for a particular brand Hoka I thought I figure I would walk in / tell them my size and leave with a shoe in a matter of minutes but I got something much more efficient than that I've never been to a shoe store where they take such time to figure out your exact measurements.They have you stand on a food scale to give you the exact readings of your feet and what you would properly suit you best they go over all the details inserts they even give you a pair of comfortable socks to try on which by the way I left with five pairs LOL which they did have a great deal first pairs free second ones half off and the rest you pay full price which I thought was a really good deal for these amazingly comfortable socks I stand on my feet a lot I am a hairdresser and I need a comfortable supporting shoes while I'm working needless to say I walked out with an amazing pair of shoes ,socks and insoles to make the shoes even better if that's even possible. Ryan had amazing customer service and the knowledge he had was impeccable if you're looking for a really good pair of shoes for every day wear or even running shoes this is your place to go and they have so much more thank you for the superb service I will definitely bring my husband here for his running shoes and don't forget that portable massage gun that was amazing! Customer service is horrible. I bought a very expensive pair of shoes being made to believe they would be perfect for my feet due to the 3D imagining and staff recommendation. They told me they had a 60 day return policy.After 2 days my feet were in such pain I've never felt with any new pair of shoes ever. When I tried to return them (on day 3) I was told they could only give me a check even though I paid cash and it would take 7-10 days. So unless you are 100% sure the shoes are going to work for you I wouldn't buy from this business. Unless of course you can wait 7-10 days before you get your money back to buy another pair of shoes. I'll go to Fred Meyer next time and buy Nike. read more

This store is pretty sweet. My sister who runs marathons was visiting and needed new shoes so the whole family went while we were out. The guy at the store identified the make & model of the shoes of all three of us and we all had new shoes within about 10 minutes. That's efficiency. My mother's shoes were a tad pricier than normal for the brand, but mine were a bit cheaper so it all balanced out. The bright lights and great staff made this a very pleasant experience, and I'll probably go back on my lonesome to take advantage of their shoe selection soon. read more

I have been a runner since 2012 and bought my first pair of shoes at Fit Right (which is the store that Fleet Feet saved by taking over) and have bought every pair at this location every since my first running shoe. There have been only two times when I felt service wasn't as exceptional as I have come to love and expect in their specialty shoe store, and each time I received personal attention on the matter. WOW, this place really cares about their service and wishes to make it right to keep every one of their customers. I believe that a negative review should not be written until the business has a chance to make it right and then fails to do that. This store will never get that from me! Ran 6 miles with some new friends Coffee and donuts afterwards ! Bonus City. I kept receiving these emails from Fit Right, I think it's because I did the Shamrock Run once. Anyway, I keep bypassing and or reading and deleting. I do appreciate the info - the emails talk about upcoming running events, footwear sales, etc. I finally thought, hey, I am going to show up to one of these non-obligatory runs and see what happens. I was so glad I showed up. It was a little confusing at the start, there were several ladies there in rain/running gear and the lead guy was talking about the route. The group of gals headed out on a run - it was great. There was a little dampness, but it's a refreshing change from slogging it on the treadmill indoors. Returned to the store to enjoy above par coffee----Keurig style. Nice touch. There were complimentary donuts, too, for us to enjoy. I learned about a few upcoming runs/events at this store. Nick was friendly, he was the main guy at the store. I really liked getting out of my comfort zone and going for an outside run with some new people. The merch there is a little high price, but naturally. I might invest in a digital device of some sort - to track my running and activity level. Also, wouldn't mind an evaluation on running shoes. I don't even live near Vancouver, but I am so happy I attended. I'll for sure keep their running events in my routine. Nice restroom. Friendly people. read more

I decided to get back into running after a two year hiatus, only to discover some pretty serious ankle pain plaguing me. Before going in to see a doctor, I wanted to eliminate the possibility that the pain had something to do with the shoes I was wearing. I knew from reading their website that Fit Right provides a complimentary video gait / foot analysis, which I'd never had done in all my years of running, but was very interested in. In short, I was completely blown away by the incredible customer service, the amount of time they spent with me, not just on deciphering the analysis but bringing me numerous shoes to try on (and test outside), and by educating me on the different classes/categories of shoes, and which are best for my foot type. And the icing on top is that they have a Vancouver location. I would HIGHLY recommend Fit Right NW, whether a casual (like myself) or serious runner! read more

This review is a little late, but I came here because I needed a windbreaker-type jacket for the Portland Shamrock 15k. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by a female employee and asked if there was anything in particular I was looking for. She pointed me in the right direction, gave me a minute to look, then came over to check on me. The size I was looking for wasn't there, and she suggested that I try on the next size up. Glad she did because I like to layer, and it actually worked out fine for race day. I didn't happen to see her name, but she was able to answer every question I asked immediately and was very efficient about getting me in and out of there, a happy customer. AND they even offer a military discount. Yay. I'm going to need new running shoes soon, so this will likely be where I buy them when that time comes. read more

I've been a customer for over 10 years and have always had great service. I'm not someone who writes reviews but the lack of service this evening was horrible. I waited 45 minutes for help, there were two employees and only one other customer in the store. I asked for help and was told someone else would be there to help me shortly. Clearly runners themselves, so ask questions it could help you make a decision. Prices are a little pricey like a traditional running store, wish they had some type of VIP customer deal, but what can you do... that's what real running shoes cost, unlike the same brand different model cheaper versions you see at DSW and such. I LOVED being able to walk in and get help getting the perfect shoes. Rachel was a huge help and made my feel 1000% comfortable with the process from the second I walked in the door. I loved that I could run in the shoes and she helped me be sure that I chose the right pair for my feet. Within a minute she nailed why I was having calf pain and explained it to me in detail so I understood what was causing the pain and how a different shoe would fix it. She also introduced me to running socks that I love!!! I purchased a pair of shoes but I found they were not quite wide enough and after several runs I got a blister so I took them back about a month after the initial purchase. They never questioned me bringing them back and were quick to help me find a different pair of shoes that worked better and were a bit wider. The new shoes were a bit cheaper than the original ones and I was handed cash on the spot for the difference. Once again the customer service was quick and very friendly and helpful. read more

Returned the shoes the next day. Sufficient inventory. Friendly service but not stellar. I really didn't want to hear about her unpleasant experience with another customer. A month ago I was coming into Vancouver for the Vancouver USA Marathon...and I FORGOT MY SHOES!! And because of traffic, I wasn't going to make it into Fleet Feet by the time they closed the night before the race. I called them and asked them if I could buy some shoes over the phone, and would they leave them by the back door or something so I could pick them up...but they were so awesome, they stayed open 30 minutes late for me to come in and try them on since they weren't the exact shoes I'd been training in.
