Pleasantly surprised with this place! Didn't have high expectations based on the 4 star rating + wasn't really busy during lunch time. But the food, the service, and the ambiance were great altogether! You get complementary margaritas as you get seated, which is a nice touch! The food portions were HUGE and definitely shareable. Everything we ordered tasted good, except the french fries were not fresh :( the chips and salsa they start you off with, with the cheese sauce + the margaritas already starts you off on the right foot. The service was also super attentive without being overbearing, and everyone was extremely nice. At the end, we also randomly found out that this place is owned by Mark Wahlberg! anyway, a nice little underrated place. Will definitely be back to try more of their items. They also had a great $20 lunch special that includes a non alcoholic beverage, an entree, and a dessert.

Here's your sign to indulge in an AYC EAT and DRINK Sunday Brunch at Fletcha! Welcome to the newest Mexican spot in 4S Ranch - They even welcome you with a mimosa ! This is the only AYCE Mexican brunch located in this area and they do not disappoint! They offer tasty options from all the Mexican and breakfast items you'd expect but also have items including burger sliders, breakfast sandwiches, mini pancakes, eggs Benedict, a HUGE dessert section, and my favorite part, a station where you can get made-to-order tacos (or even quesadillas) and omelettes. Unlimited mimosas Made to order taco bar Great atmosphere Follow @allthingsfoodinsandiego for more must try San Diego restaurants, date night ideas, food experiences, kid friendly spots, with a sprinkling of home-cooking!

I've been meaning to come here for quite some time ... and hoping for a glimpse of the beautiful marky mark (insert a million heart emoji's here) We were here for happy hour mid shopping spree Tons of great options! We were greeted with a pre batch marg which I gladly accepted I got a glass of ice to pour it over ... still too sweet but I sipped on it Also ordered a marg We were given chips/salsa/ queso dip Honestly I was happy with this! That cheese dip is so good We also ordered birria quesadilla that was tasty and chicken fajita ... meat was tender and yummy Solid happy hour and if it was in my neighborhood I would be more inclined to go again If I'm in the area I'm down

We came here with reservations and to celebrate our anniversary. The actual place feels like an el torrito or chevys when looking at the menu but it is actually a very nice restaurant inside. He server was great kind and nice. Little pricey for the food because I wouldn't say it's fine dining but it taste more like a chain but with more specialized items. Aguachile is one of my fav dish and this was just ok. Slightly dissatisfied with the heat and the cut of the meal. Our flautas well. I'm not sure what happened. I thought from pics and descriptions you get two. We only got one but oddly it was like twice the size of the pics. Maybe they ran out of smaller tortillas. And the mole was ok. Fresh but blandness about it. Maybe an off day but I would say again service was good. Nice people. But food could be better.

Weekday lunch complimentary margarita? - It was too sweet for me and I wasn't trying to get lit at 12pm haha

I met a colleague here for lunch and this was nice to experience. I didn't pick the place as Mexican isn't usually on the top of my list because of my dairy issues but since I wasn't the decision maker, I happily joined. The place is very pretty with high ceilings and a nice outdoor space too. My colleague told me this is one of Mark Wahlberg's restaurants and there's one in Vegas and elsewhere. I was a few minutes early and when I arrived at the hostess station, I was immediately offered a complimentary margarita. I found it odd to have this offering during a weekday lunch but said ok to trying it while I waited for my colleague. When he arrived, we were able to be seated immediately and I chose for us to sit outside as it was a gorgeous day. I like that this place has a $20 lunch special which is nice. It comes with a non alcoholic drink like a soda, an entree of your choice, and flan as your dessert. They brought out complimentary chips too and I enjoyed their crema sauce on the side which I think was queso. I didnt have any tummy issues later. I chose the $20 lunch special and had a salmon burrito bowl. They give you a nice piece of salmon and it was very well cooked, still light and just right. It comes on a bed of rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, sour cream. Nothing really exceptional there but the salmon was good. They ran out of flan so offered any other dessert option and I chose the churros. That, in and of itself, was its own dish, they give you 4 churros topped with a good scoop of vanilla ice cream. My friend and I only could eat about a piece each and I took the rest home. Churros were ok but something was missing, which I couldnt pinpoint. Service was very good and pur waitress Riley was on point every step of the way. Overall, a good experience here and I would return. I hear the happy hour specials are good here! I'll be back!

Came in during Fifa and enjoyed a few drinks. Service is excellent and the place is beautiful. The bar has a few TVs perfectly located within eyes length and it doesn't take away from the relaxed ambiance of the restaurant. Service was excellent. Everyone was patient and attentive. I love this place and will be back again and again and again.

I attended a rehearsal dinner here, we went during the heatwave, so having sat in the patio was the not greatest. The restaurant was really pretty, the staff were friendly but I think because of the large sized party, it took a while to get our food. I really loved the chips, salsa, and queso dip, very tasteful. I also really liked the chicken enchilada, the chicken inside was really juicy, I feel like it was dark meat and not the typical white meat/shredded breast. I would definitely come back for the enchiladas and the chips/salsa/queso, but I would definitely sit inside

Caesar Salad with shrimp, looks amazing, tasteless

TL;DR: A fine dining experience with some of the most underwhelming food imaginable. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and welcomed with complimentary half-flutes of mango margaritas. Service was impeccable, concept on point, and from the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we felt transported from a strip mall into an upscale dining destination. The complimentary chips, salsa, and queso on top of the margs got things off to a strong start. Staff was attentive, pacing was perfect, and plating was modern, polished, and beautiful. Unfortunately, the food is where the restaurant lost me. I ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp. The dressing tasted like pure mayo and the shrimp seemed boiled at best. While it was certainly a feast for the eyes, it was remarkably bland. I also sampled the chicken mole enchiladas, which were equally beautiful and equally flavorless. Nothing on any of the dishes provided contrast, texture, or a memorable punch of flavor. Overall, the food quality and flavor profile felt more like something you'd find at a hotel banquet than at a restaurant aiming for a premium dining experience. I wish this restaurant the best (they have a solid business model by all accounts and you can tell the staff really pour their hearts into everything they do) but as a self-proclaimed foodie, I can easily see why this is a favorite restaurant of my in-laws in their 80s...

I went to Flecha last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. My waitress was very attentive and would check if I needed anything periodically. She was also friendly and welcoming. I was served with nachos and sauces on the restaurant. I ordered the salmon as the main dish and really enjoyed it. I loved the ambiance and good choice of music. Overall, I had a very positive experience and service at this restaurant and will gladly return to try other items on the menu. Update: I went to Flecha for the second time and ordered shrimp enchiladas and churro dessert. Both were delicious, and service again was exceptional.

I've been to the Las Vegas location and realized they have a new location in San Diego. This review is for their weekday lunch special which is a prix fixe menu for $20 which includes a nonalcoholic drink, one entree, and a dessert. They still have their regular menu as well during lunch but it's good deal if you're there for lunch Monday-Friday. Otherwise the main menu entrees are mostly $20 and above. They took over Miguel's which was another Mexican restaurant so the decor is very similar but with a more modern touch. The restaurant is fairly large with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is free in their large, shared lot. The food was fresh and tasty. I loved the complimentary chips, salsa, and queso dip. Chips were warm and crispy. Our bowls were filling and delicious. The flan dessert was HUGE and a great way to end the meal with the right amount of sweetness. Service was overall good. The hostess at the front was very friendly and welcoming and even offered a complimentary sip of margarita. Our server was prompt to take our order but we were not offered water until we requested it.

It's been a while.. we were back here and the atmosphere is nice The restaurant is fully staffed moments we walked in!! We got seated right away with free - welcoming margaritas !!! Didn't see Mark Wahlberg but our Waiter Eddie was so great. Eddie was Very Welcoming, friendly and very attentive! Great food, great Staff!!!

Since Flecha is officially one of the New Kids on the Block in the 4S/RB/Santa Luz scene, we had to see if it would be Hangin' Tough against the competition. Imagine stepping into a high-end Ensenada/Rosarito resto without the soul-crushing TJ lines. We dropped in to cap off the night with cocktails and dessert, and it did not disappoint. It's Mexi-Cali chic at its finest--a glitzy partnership between a premium tequila brand and a Hollywood A-lister that radiates some serious Good Vibrations. The aesthetic is moody and chef-driven, skipping the gaudy decor found in Old Town. Our community needed this fun diversification. The real "shut up and take my money" moment? Watching flaming ice cream and butter cake hit the table while sipping a Manhattan. Between the table-side pyrotechnics and the high-energy atmosphere, it's a total showstopper. Even if you're a bit of a Departed soul looking for a late-night fix, pairing a classic cocktail with a fire-fueled dessert is the ultimate way to level up your night and make you feel like you're part of the Entourage. The hospitality kicks off the second you walk in--because any place that greets you with a margarita has definitely got the Right Stuff. We sampled the peachy mango fruity marg, which was dangerously smooth. Despite the dining room being packed, the staff handled the chaos like absolute legends, ensuring our Boogie Nights didn't turn into a stressful slog. If you're craving a stylish "resort-life" escape, this hippity hop spot is a total home run. Highly recommended for when you want to feel fancy without the drive!

After sampling the above items, I have a monthly event that I attend nearby so I had a friend meet me after that event for happy hour here. I like pizza, deep dish or thin crust, round or square. It just depends on my mood, but since I've been wanting to come here for so long, I was excited to try their deep dish. When I arrived, it was a really hot day and there were a few people on the patio, but I preferred the air conditioned inside. There were a few other guests inside too. I was told to sit wherever I'd like so I sat towards the back. I ordered a happy hour glass of wine, which ended up being a Barbera. My other choices were sauv Blanc and a sparkling wine. When my friend arrived we ordered a small deep dish "where's the meat". We ordered the bacon on one side only. It took awhile as deep dish does. When it was brought to us I asked which side had the bacon and the girl didn't know. She said she would need to take gloves and find out and she disappeared with the pizza. About 10 minutes later she brought it back and said the side that had the bacon had Parmesan sprinkled on it. It was a bit haphazardly shaken on so the line wasn't clear, but we were happy to have it back so we could dive in. This pizza was worth the wait. I use to live in the Bay Area and there are some very good deep dish options there. I've also been to Chicago and had the real thing. The crust was crispy and a bit flakey. The inside was cheesy, meaty and saucy. The sauce had chunks of tomato and the cheese pull was great. When we left most of the tables were taken. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed it even my non deep dish loving dining partner. We even had leftovers. In fact, last night we got regular crust pizza from the local neighborhood pizza spot we frequent and we both lamented that we wished it was the Shop deep dish. I think we're ruined now. I just wish it were closer.

Staff totally cool and the food, while it looked like frozen dinners, the pizza was pretty solid! The beer selection was pretty good as my hubby loves Hazys. I loved the cider selection. We had a great date night and he got some golf in and I got some golf swinging lessons. It was perfect for the torrential downpour outside to be able to still get some golf in while we were in Escondido area. The only part that wasn't cool was, the simulator had a few glitches and didn't catch some of our swings, that was a bummer bc I hit some decent ones when it didn't count. Sometimes the golf ball isn't sensed so make sure you see that it says the ball is sensed on the screen. Otherwise if you hit it, it will not register it. There are different game modes available like driving range, trying to aim into a bucket, or playing an actual game of golf. They also have an instant replay of the hitting area so that you can review your stroke and where you hit the ball. I see the appeal in if you are wanting to try out or work on different areas of golf. Like you can play an entire game without having to be in the hot sun, or see from a top-down view of your club placement when you strike the ball. ---- Food was alright, minus half a star. We ordered the pepperoni pizza ($14) which was steaming hot when it came out and had a crispy bottom. Just a standard pepperoni pizza, nothing amazing. Ambiance wasn't "bar-like" which I liked bc while there was music playing you could still hear your own conversations. Service was great we somehow managed to hit 2 tees on top of the hitting area and they gave us another one each time. Lots of parking bc it shares it with other businesses in the plaza. ---- Overall: whether you are a golf fanatic or just want to try something out, this is a pretty great place to experience. Pricing is basically a dollar a minute you're here, but they have a wide variety of game modes available and the comfort of being indoors.

Bonus: They have a killer Happy Hour from 2-5pm (salmon caeser salad + glass of wine for only $18), plus kids eat free on Thursdays, trivia on Tuesdays, and music bingo on Mondays. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. This place is definitely a hidden gem in North County. Great spot for family and friends gathering but also for a date night. We will be coming back!

I came in on a Saturday morning and was the only table in the restaurant for about another hour…read moreuntil two more tables came in another hour later. I do hope they see more business at night. My table got a few of their most popular dishes. My top two favorites (and favorite among the table as well) were the Yellowtail Crudo and the Braised Short Rib. Those two dishes were prepared perfectly. I would absolutely come back to have some more people try that Short Rib. As for the Birria Ramen, my dad loved it but I thought it needed a little more of a spice kick or more acidity. The Butter Toffee Cake was a perfect dessert. It had a warm toffee cake topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel. This was a good size to share also. As for the ambience, I think the lighting needs to be a little dimmer. There's warm lighting in the dining room but bright white lights where the bar and kitchen is. It probably would set a more date night or higher casual dining if it was a little dimmer at the bar. The price point are actually pretty affordable. And Eric was wonderful at explaining our dishes and what to expect.

It is located in the famous Rancho Bernardo Inn! The restaurant has a large formal dinning area, large bar, and even outdoor tables. The ambiance is somewhat formal, but can also be a relaxing dinning experience. Their 3 or 4 course menu is an absolute steal! The price is so reasonable for the portions they offer in each course. This is basically restaurant week menu everyday! We ended picking the three course meal, which has more than enough food per person! Omg, my first course of the jumbo shrimp was so amazing! I can't believe they served two shrimps!!!!! It's perfectly charred on the outside, yet tender and juicy inside. So good! I would just come and have that for dinner! The branzino was great too. Man, I was so impressed by their desserts! They offer very very creative desserts. I highly highly recommend ordering their desserts. They are much better than other restaurants at the same price range. We had such an amazing evening. I will definitely come back again for all occasions.

This deal is almost a steal. I had the scallops and pork belly duo and my sister had the fish, both were perfectly cooked! The dessert was the perfect finish. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was not busy at all.
