I don't use the word "amazing" loosely--but my experience at Flecha Cantina definitely earned it. From the moment I walked in, the level of customer service stood out. The staff was not only attentive, but genuinely welcoming--there's a noticeable difference when people treat you like a valued guest instead of just another table. That hospitality carried through the entire visit, with consistent respect, professionalism, and a real effort to make sure everything was right. What impressed me most was how well-rounded the entire experience was. Great service, great atmosphere, and a strong sense that they actually care about their patrons. On top of that, the value is absolutely there, you leave feeling like you got more than what you paid for, which is rare these days. It's been a long time since I've had an experience this complete. Absolutely agree with other review for Sunday brunch yesterday. Some of the worst service I have experienced. Our server seemed to have difficulty just understanding the concept of clearing plates and empty glasses. Had to ask multiple times for cutlery. Took 25 minutes to get a cup of coffee-said the kitchen staff was working on something else? Food was barely mediocre. Agree-will never go back. read more

Came here with my gorgeous friend Debbie for a girls night out and food and service did not disappoint. We had a wonderful server, Eddie, who made our experience here unforgettable! He was so knowledgeable with drinks and food recommendations we barely had to look at the menu. Beef fajitas were awesome and my friend's sea bass was also delish! Marky Mark's Funky Brunch is no Good Vibrations!!!! The food is average but it's the service that is horrible! We visited this place twice for their brunch and sat at the bar each time. The 1st experience was subpar but everyone can have one bad day. Unfortunately the 2nd time was even worse. Went to Sunday brunch and the wife and I sat at the bar and for the entire hour that we were there we had one beer and one water each. We were the only two people at the bar. The bartender Tim was too busy socializing with his coworkers or cutting up garnishes to pay attention to us. Sorry but 2 strikes and you're out in this ball game. We paid a lot for our meals and "drink" to deserve such terrible service? We will not be going back. Our first visit to the restaurant was wonderful. The food was good. Not amazing but good. Certainly better than the previous operation at that location. But the following 3 visits were not so great. For a family members birthday they did not bother bringing the desert at the end and the service was slow. Then for a take-out order they made us wait 20 minutes even though the food had been sitting on the counter the whole time. And on this last visit at the bar the service was terrible. The food never arrived. Our multiple requests for chips and salsa were never taken care of. And when we complained to the manager he was abrupt with us. Simply not acceptable. We will not return. Maybe Mark Wahlberg should stick to acting because he does not know how to ensure quality at his restaurant. read more

Great vibes and great food! The place was pretty empty when we came in so we were skeptical but we enjoyed the food. They have a pretty big menu, with something for everyone and also a Sunday Brunch Buffet. We tried the buffet and there was a lot of variety. The carne asada tacos and eggs benedict were our favorite. The buffet also has a really nice dessert section with a chocolate fountain, cotton candy machine, ice cream, and conchas. It is a little pricey for how much we could eat but I'd definitely be back for à la carte menu. Also great service from the staff clearing the tables! The ambience was pleasant although they appeared to have done little to anything to renovate from when it used to be Miguel's. Smart business from an investment perspective but I was expecting more from a restaurant backed by a family of Hollywood superstars. They basically reopened a failed restaurant and made some minor changes and threw a name on it. We were sat at a table for two that was positioned in such a way as to have us seated diagonally from each other. They appeared to try to cram 1 too many tables into the row against the wall forcing this one to be sat awkwardly. I found out later 3 other couples declined to sit there prior to us. The table was also situated right next to the doorway that entered this part of the restaurant that contained maybe 20 tables. This made for a CONSTANT flow of wait staff right behind my wife the entirety of the meal. They should just get rid of that be table and space out the row. It would be much more pleasant for all. Our meal consisted of: 1 guava margarita. It was weak but tasty. My wife prefers them weak anyway. 1 Marks Old Fashioned. It was a solid old fashioned. Nothing fancy. Complementary chips and salsa Added guacamole at a charge for an appetizer. My wife got the chicken burrito. It was large. 2 servings for sure. But it came with no beans or rice. Instead it was garnished with 1 chunk of cauliflower and 1 carrot chunk. I got the Chapo pork chop plate. It was very good. Two sizeable chops cooked nicely. Just a touch underdone near the bone on one but chops are hard to get spot on all the way through without risking drying out. It came with a mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes. Overall a solid choice. I would've liked a little crust on the chops to give a nice texture and a little more flavor. They brought our meals out separate of each other about 5 minutes apart. To me that's a big no no. We passed on any desert. The bill was $130 before tip. To us it seemed over priced for what you got. We have a couple of solid Mexican restaurants we frequent that offer similar quality dining experiences that are 3/4 the price. For this price I'd have expected a much better experience. Flecha just opened in 4s Ranch, taking over old Miguel's location. It is still in soft opening phase as its official Grand Opening is scheduled for January 2026. The claim to fame is that it is co-owned by Mark Wahlberg, and his photo is proudly displayed as reminder in the bar area. The interior has been spruced up with new paint, new upholstery, and minimal upgrades. The giant faux palm trees in the interior of restaurant still remain. We were offered a complimentary flute of grapefruit margaritas as we waited for our table (nice touch!). At our table, we were given complimentary tortilla chips with warm queso and salsa. The queso was good, but not as good as Miguel's queso. We ordered fish tacos (which were amazingly good but pricey) and 3 street tacos (they were kind enough to allow me to mix and match so I could try the carnitas, achiote tequila chicken and pork belly). The portions of street tacos were small but the carnitas and chicken tacos were good. However, I would not order the pork belly again, as it was very hard and surprisingly dry! We ordered the fried ice cream for dessert, as recommended by our server. He drizzled the plate with liqueur and lit on fire. It was a fun display. Unfortunately, we would not order the fried ice cream again as it was covered with toasted cinnamon cereal which because a soggy mess and hard to swallow. We ended up eating only the ice cream interior and discarding the rest. As a whole, I don't know if I would return. The prices are quite high. We saw a 32 oz braised short ribs on menu for $64 and 16 oz ribeye for $69!!! I wonder what customers Flecha is trying to draw. read more

(all stars issued exclusively to Taylor, the sole functioning adult). She is 5 stars but the restaurant drags it down. Taylor is an absolute rockstar. Friendly, sharp, calm under pressure, and somehow holding this place together with duct tape, apologies, and professionalism. She did everything right while being completely unsupported. Tip her heavily. She earned hazard pay. Now... the catastrophe. We had a reservation and still waited 15 minutes. When we were finally seated, our table proudly featured a bus tray still sitting on it, which felt less like a mistake and more like a mission statement. Upon sitting down, we were presented with one small dish of salsa and one small dish of queso for five people. That was it. From that moment until the end of the meal, we repeatedly asked for more -- our server, runners, management, anyone who made eye contact and appeared to draw a paycheck. At least five different people were notified. What did we receive? More chips. Just chips. An inspirational amount of chips. No salsa. No queso. Ever again. At this point, I assume there has been a mandatory staff meeting where it was made very clear that no table shall receive more than one complimentary order of salsa and queso. The fear was palpable. The restraint was impressive. The commitment to denial was unwavering. Drinks took another 15 minutes to arrive, which gave us plenty of time to observe the scene. Meanwhile, the owner was outside on the back patio, drink in hand, gold chain worn proudly on the outside of his shirt, posing for selfies and living his best influencer life while the restaurant burned quietly inside. His only visible leadership contribution was occasionally chewing out the manager in a side room, which really tied the whole experience together. Through all of this, Taylor stayed gracious, professional, and genuinely helpful, even going so far as to offer to get us salsa and queso to go, which somehow felt both kind and deeply tragic. Final verdict: Come for Taylor. Tip Taylor like she saved your life. And if salsa and queso matter to you, bring your own -- or at least accept that you'll get exactly one ceremonial serving and then be cut off for life. I feel bad for the employees honestly, including the manager. The owner obviously has zero interest in doing any actual work, but rather to throw around Marky Mark's name and act cool. No way he's run anything before. The food is decent but it's overpriced. read more

Made a reservation for a rare date night. Was sat immediately and waited 25 minutes without even one server stopping at our table. No water, no "hello", nothing. Couldn't even flag down someone or see a manager to ask for service. We walked out and will never give this place another chance. The service we did see happening was slow and dismissive. Too bad. At least Miguel's had good service before this place took its spot. They have no place on their web site to contact anyone either, so it looks like they aren't interested in feedback. read more

The restaurant is pretty lively and the decor upscale and nice. Tall palm trees, dark wood. A little disconnect with the name and the menu. I was kind of surprised it was Mexican food. But that was no big deal. The staff were very friendly. We were greeted and offered welcome margarita. Those were very nice, a little on the sweet side, but it was complimentary. The table is lovely, seats 5-6 people. Ambiance was above average. The wait staff was very friendly. Our person was attentive came right away and circled back enough to be attentive but not distracting. The menu has great variety and we settled on chicken fajitas and carne asada enchiladas. The table salsa, cream dip and nacho chips were addictive. I polished off a whole basket while waiting. The enchiladas came and they were nice . I could have used a little more spice but the filling was tasty. 7 out 10. My wife's order was not correct. They brought her carnitas fajitas not chicken. It had to go back. My wife and I ended up sharing my enchilada plate (2 enchiladas ) then waited and waited and waited for the fajitas to come. We finished off my plate of enchiladas and we were running out of time and needed to go home, as our dog needed to be let out . The order finally arrived and We had to ask to have it packed to go. The plate arrived without the tortillas . So we had to ask for the tortillas on top of that. The bill can out to $72 for chicken fajitas and 2 enchiladas! That's a little steep for what we got and for how it was delivered. The server mentioned that the manager was going to come speak to us, but that person did not ever show up. It was a little disappointing that we had waited so long for this order , had to pack it, and then all parts of the order wasn't even delivered without us having to ask for it. Due to the price , the service (although our waitress was very nice) but overall, and the lack of attentiveness from the manager, I would say it was 2 out 5 stars. What could have really made a difference. An apology from the manager. An offer to split on the meal we now had to take home, at least some acknowledgment that we were inconvenienced. Been there twice now since it opened. The first time was pretty good. The pork chop is excellent, however the service was slow and other menu items seem like just expensive Mexican food. The second time, was not very good. Food came out late and looked like it died in the window. The "fresh" guac on top of my taquitos was brown from the heater. The complimentary chips were SUPER salty. We had to get a fresh batch and those were also completely dusted in salt. Drinks took forever to arrive. In fact, the second drink I ordered came when I asked for the check. The pork chop was excellent, but there are so many great taco shops you can feed your whole family for the price of 1 entree, and it'd probably be better food. read more

My friends and I decided to try for lunch after tennis on a Tuesday. We were served chips and salsa immediately. The chips were fresh but I did not care for the flavor of salsa. It was a little salty and bland. My friends said their food was okay. I liked the taste of my carne asada quesadillas. Marky Mark... idk what you were going for here, but this is definitely not it. We came for dinner during the soft-opening phase and, well, let's just say we're almost certainly not coming back. To be fair, the service was genuinely great, especially considering the staff was still in training. They were offering complimentary margaritas at the hostess stand, which was a nice touch... although let's be honest, that was mostly juice (also: why was it in a champagne flute?!). The queso was pretty good, but unfortunately not very hot. The calamari "steaks" desperately need to be pounded thinner or sliced differently. As served, they were basically fancy fish sticks. Also, not nearly enough lemon wedges or lime sauce to make the dish work. The lobster risotto was okay, but a bit misleading. They don't use Arborio or Carnaroli rice, but rather what tasted like Mexican rice. Hard to justify the price, and yes, it's also a little odd to offer risotto at a Mexican-inspired restaurant, but I digress. The vampiro tacos with achiote tequila chicken were bland and forgettable. And the spicy strawberry citrus margarita and "the" spicy margarita? Not spicy. At all. Not even a whisper of heat. All in, our meal for four people came out to just under $400 after gratuity. Pretty wild, if you ask me. If you're looking for memorable, flavorful, truly high-quality, high-end Mexican food, do yourself a favor and go to Caló Kitchen up north. First time at Marky Marks Flecha, a tequila bar/ Upscale Mexican restaurant. Went here for Happy Hour but stayed and watched the Lakers game, so we ordered from both menus. Happy hour is from M-F 3pm-7pm so it's longer than most places so that's a plus! We had a couple rounds of drinks and ordered a couple things. The truffle fries, which came out cold and just tasted like regular fries . Since they brought out all the food we ordered at the same time I'm guessing that's why. The pollo rolled tacos were nice and crunchy you get 2 for $6, nothing crazy about these. The street tacos were ok as well, the carne asada were the best out ones we ordered. The pork belly and carnitas had no flavor really. The Guac was Guac. The ceviche was the best thing we had here we ordered, we went with what the waiter suggested. I believe it was the hamachi, it had really good flavors and paired great with the chips. The calamari strips were battered in what tasted like coconut shreds and had a good dipping sauce with it. The drinks on the happy were a good value and tasted yummy! Overall the food was decent the prices on the happy hour were good. The regular menu gets pricier. This place is packed from 4-8pm they have inside and outside dining. read more

Honestly, this was a very uncomfortable experience. Initially my group was super impressed by the decor, ambiance, and friendliness of the staff. We were quickly seated and attended to. However, this is where the problems started. Our waiter was very energetic and helpful with the menu, but some requests made were missed on multiple times (I.e. I had to ask for lemon wedges twice). On the plus side, the complimentary chips that came before the meal also came with queso on top of salsa, which I haven't seen at restaurants before. However, on the flip side, when we ordered guacamole, it was clear from the start that the avocados were not ready and the guacamole was very difficult to eat. I ordered the fajitas and the meat and veggies were incredibly under seasoned. Additionally, for whatever reason, the tortillas arrived separately.... 15 minutes later... after I asked the waiter if they'd be arriving. Some of these growing pains may be excusable, but what truly bothered us was the reaction from our waiter. His incredibly personable, jovial demeanor was overshadowed by how quickly he effectively threw his coworkers under the bus. "The girl just didn't make the guac right..." "idk what these guys are doing" (referencing the missing tortillas). Near the end of the night it also seemed like our waiter was slowly overstepping some professional boundaries when he started mentioning his gaff with another customer's bill. On a positive note, they did a nice job celebrating our friend's birthday with a dessert item. However, we were very disappointed that the faulty guacamole was not excluded from the bill, especially after we pointed out how it was difficult to consume and was acknowledged as such by the waitstaff. read more

...glad to see a new restaurant take over the former miguel's location. arrived at 5:30 pm to attend a business dinner for about 12. we sat outside on the patio. very warm with the heaters. too warm and the staff accommodated my request to turn off the heat. the appetizers and dinner entrees were all pretty good, though i heard some comment that the lobster risotto was too salty. my short rib was excellent. have to deduct a star because the staff, although trying hard to be attentive, was checking in on us way too much often interrupting conversation. we could tell that one of the servers was in training so we cut him some slack, but felt that they could have communicated with each other better as a team - left hand, right hand thing. I will come back again with the family but will wait a bit until the service bakes in a little more. read more

I really love this restaurant. This low score is based 100% on my disappointment with the take out portion size. I ordered a fajita salad with salmon on it. I've had it before in the restaurant and it was amazing. Not the case for take out. The takeout portion was about 1/3 the size of the eat in. It hardly had any beans, avocado, or corn. I was sooooooo disappointed. I really hope the management sees this and decides to require take out to resemble the eat in. So, I will never do take out again at Flecha. Our server, Dustin, was great! He was friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic about splitting our bill! The food was delicious! The chips and salsa were fresh and full of flavor. I had their carne asada and chicken street tacos - the chicken was good, and the carne asada, really good - so tender and so tasty! My mom and sister got the fajitas for two. Which is really enough food for three to four, or two with ample leftovers to bring home and enjoy later. They thought it was fantastic! First off this is not Mexican food, second the pricing is absolutely ridiculous. Third the kitchen was not prepared and our order got a little messed up. Had to wait for something else to be ordered. They forgot the rice and beans on all the meals and then offered no discounts. My plate was $32 with two rolled up shrimp enchiladas on it. Nothing else. Maybe cost two dollars or three to make. I was expecting at least some sort of apology, but the manager had never even came to our table although she visited all the other tables in the dining room so I had to ask for her. They did finally give us a little discount, but I just don't think this place is gonna make it. I'm not the type that ask for discounts. My husband worked in the industry. Finally we have an upscale Mexican restaurant in this area. This place is completely remodeled with a great atmosphere for restaurant & bar. Food quality was excellent and will definitely go back to try different things. Prices are in the high end for Mexican food but worth it. Service was also excellent! Our server, Faith, was great. She was perfect as a server. Helpful, no pressure and there at the appropriate times when we needed her. Also if you're into Tequila they got a lot of different varieties. read more
